  1. Not particularly exciting, but I did see a couple obscure ones this morning--a silver Isuzu Axiom and an orangey-red Suzuki SX4. Haven't seen examples of either in years...
  2. Maybe they can bring back the Mark nomenclature for crossover coupes....a Mark IX LSC maybe?
  3. 550 doesn't have AMG in name, though. So AMG 65 > 550.
  4. 73 tells you that has more than the 63 did...
  5. At one time, they did designate liters. Like the original 6.3, 6.9, etc. today, though 73 > 63.
  6. Hmm..SE? I had a Passat as a rental for 3 weeks last year at this time...when I was back here closing on my house and doing initial remodeling before I moved back in June. Nice car..very comfortable, good outward visibility, huge trunk..
  7. Passat
  8. Chevy Express.
  9. Hmmm..something small and bold...Chevy Spark or Mitsubishi Mirage?
  10. I would assume they would be chrome with LEDs on the Escalade...
  11. I also wonder..with the pickups new for '19, will the SUVs (Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon/Escalade) be new for '20? Haven't seen anything about them yet...
  12. Nooo..no consolidation, we need more niches, more models, more variations...IDIC (infinite diversity, infinite configurations).
  13. The funny thing is, I've driven a couple late model Mustang and Camaro (5th gen) convertible rentals, and had to have the seat up (vertically) to comfortably see out....I'm not short (6'0") but felt like I was down in a well driving w/ the top up or down and the seat down low...
  14. Hmmm..would be interesting to see a custom 'tall person' Corvette built using the stock Corvette front clip, a Silverado regular cab, and the Corvette rear...;)
  15. With the Corvette, wear a motorcycle helmet when driving..;) For the Camaro, I assume it has a back up camera...replacing the tiny stock mirrors with Tahoe mirrors would help. And installing a periscope.
  16. My sister's old Mercedes 500SEL and 300CE I often drove in Arizona had Michelins, but it was always sunny, dusty and boring out so their was never winter weather to deal with... The Jeep's original Goodyear Forteras had 32k on them when I replaced them and they were pretty worn down...
  17. That's from 50+ years ago, though...don't think anyone cared about that then..pedestrians were there to be mowed down and maimed then.
  18. That's real luxury exclusivity, though, rather than the high volume luxury of the Merc S-Class.
  19. Wondered about that, the article called them all-season. I like Michelins..the Defenders on my Jeep have been good this winter (albeit I haven't had to go out in the snow much). Interesting how that Dodge concept could have been be badged as anything--it really has no resemblance to any production Dodge of the era...
  20. Trucks outsell SUVs and CUVs..nothing new. Different market niches..
  21. Michelin Alpin all-season tires according to the article...the pic is attributed to the Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles..taken in his driveway in December...
  22. I would think power seats would be standard on a Buick...manual seats are like a Malibu rental spec feature...just something that screams cheapassery..
  23. What a beast..
  24. I see plenty of Muranos and Rogues around here, as I did in Phoenix..the other models, not so much...
  25. I've sat in the new Continental, i fit fine..(I'm 6'0"). The driver's seat is quite adjustable.
