  1. The Acura grille, at least the current revised ones, isn't bad at all IMO..better looking than some of Hyundai's front ends (like the disgusting Sonata Hybrid front end or the over wrought front ends seen on the updated Genesis coupe, Velocter, Tuscon, etc..
  2. Interesting about the fins...Eldorado end caps? Odd the mirrors are missing...the shift boot looks cheezy, along w/ the tacked on aftermarket gauge. The louvers are out of place--that's an old time hot rodder touch appropriate for cars up into the 40s.
  3. A homemade 1 of 1, looks like...tasteless and tacky mods to the poor Toro.
  4. I found that 442 over the weekend along w/ the neat Hot Ones '76 Monza IMSA race car...
  5. My sister's '00 DTS and '84 Merc 500SEL have them..
  6. How about 4dr cars w/ ashtrays and lighters in the rear doors also...weird...I can just picture a family driving around and everyone smoking...or a group of old-school gangsters.
  7. Yeah, similar here....I have 3 old ones in my storage unit in Colorado...all 1998-2002 vintage...2 17inch ViewSonics and a 20 inch (Sun)...they work fine, but I'll never use them again..boat anchors.
  8. Interesting..would never have thought it was that...the angle and cropping make it hard to tell what the picture is of. It looks distorted, like the mirror is right beside the headlight. Would like to see the full unedited photo.
  9. Looks great inside after the reassembly. Cold A/C is a great thing to have...I got one of those recharge cans to try and get mine a bit colder..not as cold as new anymore.
  10. Unfortunately, it has the same short wheelbase that the LaCrosse has. At least the DTS had a wheelbase that made sense for a full size car.
  11. Cadillacs don't have folding trays, though..the folding tray on the right makes me think it's a fancy piece of office furniture. Though it also reminds me a bit of the Porsche Carrera GT roofline in profile.
  12. Well, that does look like some kind of folding tray on the right...
  13. Seriously..I'm curious..I have no idea what I'm looking at when I see the page every day..it's a simple question..I can't believe it hasn't been asked before. It seems like such an obvious question..I feel like I'm speaking a foreign language.
  14. YES! What are the gray and silver objects? (a mesh grille thing behind the 'Cheers' and the thing to to right of 'Gears'). Part of pictures of some car(s)? furniture? Something else?
  15. Bigger. It says 'Cheers and Gears' in a blue banner at the top of the page. There are gray and silver objects behind the C&G logo. What are they? This logo and banner is there whether you are logged into the site or not..just curious. I would think we all see this everyday and someone would know what it is..
  16. the screenshot is too small for me to see anything Well, what do you see when you look at the C&G page? There is something there...
  17. Interesting..never seen a blue Cameo..thought they were all white & red. That Studebaker truck is neat.
  18. Hard to take a screen shot on a Mac...here is what I got..kinda tiny.. behind the stylized 'Cheers and Gears' logo at the top of the forums is an image, some silver and gray things on the dark blue. What are the things? Verified they are there when you go to cheersandgears.com whether logged in or not.
  19. Nothing wrong with how it looks, I just don't know what i'm looking at..what are the objects behind the C&G logo?
  20. On the default skin for the page, at the top there is the dark blue area w/ the stylized Cheers and Gears logo..there are some gray and silver objects behind the logo in the background. It looks like a grille mesh on the left behind 'Cheers' and to the right of 'Gears' is soemthing with a folding flap on the far right. They perplex me. What are they?
  21. The AE article in the first post says it's a 4cyl.
  22. Smaller as in smaller engine, I assume...as compared to the 3.5 V6 in the GS450h.
