  1. Putrid..someone tried to turn a Capri into a road racer replica...poorly.
  2. That's the one I'd pick if it existed. It's not on the Chrysler Build and Price configurator on their site..the closest sounding is a 'Luxury Series' 300C w/ V8 only.
  3. They already did the aero look in the 90s w/ the LHs and cloud cars.
  4. I think if I were buying (and the 300 is a car high on my list for my next car), I'd go w/ the V6 in Limited trim w/ all the premium interior packages. For a daily driver, the V6 w/ the 8spd auto would be fine IMO. I like the 'Luxury Series' trim as well, but it seems to be only available w/ the V8.
  5. Didn't Metallica cease to be relevant around 1999 or so?
  6. Meh...I'm happy to get at least 18mpg, any more is just gravy.
  7. Huh? The Shelby GLH-S was over 25 years ago...ancient news. You're not following the conversation, Moltie, keep up. I made the distinction above; mega hi-HP cars are fine in dedicated sports/pony cars, but they don't fit in the sports sedan segment if Cadillac is going to fall UNDER Chevy in the numbers. What Shelby 4dr sedan are you referring to, then? I doubt if Chevy is going to do a ZL1 version of the SS.
  8. Huh? The Shelby GLH-S was over 25 years ago...ancient news.
  9. One thing that is odd about the XTS is the short wheelbase...2 inches shorter than the CTS.
  10. So this is a different plant at Oshawa from where they build the Camaro?
  11. Saw a bright orange late '80s Caprice donk in traffic this morning..rollin' on 24s...
  12. The current one looks old..they haven't changed the styling much since the original. As far as the D-pillar, that window shape seems very common on compact CUVs...the new Mazda CX-5 and many others have it..
  13. Ugh... that was a bad generation for the Riv... the hideous digital dash, the shrunken size that looked too much like the N-body (Somerset Regal/Skylark), etc..
  14. I saw a white one on the road last week... probably a mfgr vehicle out testing. Saw one in person at Barrett-Jackson in January, they look a lot bigger in person than I thought they would be..
  15. Congrats on the car and getting into J school..this is in Kentucky? Good luck w/ the car and school. Those Astras are pretty sharp, don't see them very often.
  16. And of course rental car companies have arbitrary definitions of full size...the Alamo area for full size at O'Hare last week was full of mid size Malibus...were only two Impalas left when I got there Friday afternoon, was lucky to snag one.
  17. Interesting...I think I saw this on a TV show a while back, the classic car show w/ the guy w/ the funny mustache I think..
  18. The magazine reviews I've read and Autoblog one I listened to for the Malibu haven't been that glowing so far..
  19. Hmm...is it a GM product?
  20. Cool Mini. The Toy Barn looks like a fun dealer to browse...
  21. They already have a 5dr...the Countryman..they need another?
  22. Definitely..dark red, dark blue, dark brown or dark gray for me...
  23. Sounds like he didn't follow the right procedures to get it in the country and register it legally. There are many Skylines in the US that have been imported (often by importers like Moto Rex) so there is obviously a right way to do it..
  24. In the Holden pics, I like the gold one w/ the sunroof and fog lights, body color mirrors and handles..and the wheels on the black one.
  25. Akkkk.....thud. Lola T70....wow...and in the yellow it resembles the Ecurie Bonnier livery..
