  1. Even scarcer are the 4dr fastback Cutlasses and Centuries..can't recall the last time I saw one of those..
  2. Sweet..don't think I've seen one of those in decades...
  3. Sharp Caddy. As a teenager, my neighbors in S. Florida had a gorgeous red w/ white top and white and red interior '77 Coupe de Ville..rode in it a few times..big cushy boat.,
  4. Even in the rust-free dry SW '79-85 E-bodies are pretty uncommon..for that matter, most any GM product over about 25 yrs old is a relatively rare sight around here (away from car shows) in the daily flow of traffic and parking lots, etc. I miss seeing the '77 and up downsized boxy B- and C- bodies, esp. the 2drs.
  5. Saw a silver 4dr '76-77 Malibu Classic in really clean shape this morning.
  6. I saw a blue & silver two tone '80s Chevette yesterday, first one I'd seen in ages.
  7. The Viper has never really been my thing, but I do think the new one looks great...can't wait to read the road tests..
  8. Saw 3 nice oldies this morning out on a sunny Saturday---two convertibles, tops down--a white on white '75-76 Eldorado, a yellow w/ white interior '73 Olds 88. Also saw a white '65 Mercury Monterey 4dr ht w/ dog dish hubcaps, first I've ever seen of that year/bodystyle, I think. All very clean shape.
  9. Parts is parts. Lots of vehicles by the same automaker share knobs, etc for years..
  10. Saw a very clean red '56 Thunderbird, top down today...a clean lt blue/white '57 Ford Fairlane 2dr ht for sale, a primered '63 Chevy Biscayair 4dr sedan, and a clean silver blue w/ white top '75-77 Malibu coupe w/ Rallys.
  11. The right side of the upper dash pad is strange in how the cut to the left of vent is executed.
  12. Looks to be in great shape. Love the color combination.
  13. I can see a little Ferrari in the style, which makes sense given the family relationship. I wouldn't expect any Lambo as that is a VW brand.. Other than the Miura, I've never really cared for Lambo styling, esp. compared to Ferrari.
  14. His Camaro drag cars in the late '60s-early '70s looked so cool.... I love the look of Pro Stock cars of that era, when the bodies still looked stock...
  15. Meh..nothing special. Very derivative shape, looks like a Lexus in profile..
  16. The taillights remind me of the last generation Sonata. The upper grille is vaguely Honda-ish. The 6-window fastback sedan profile seems to be the trend these days...so many similar rooflines.
  17. I'm surprised it's not a hybrid. I'm surprised Toyota hasn't developed a taxi-oriented minivan based off the Prius...regular Priuses are pretty widely used here as a taxis.
  18. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person..I like some aspects of the Taurus, but this looks better overall at least in the pics.. The way Impala is spelled out on the doors reminds me of the trucks and SUVs.
  19. The gallery seems to work fine for me...very easy...select an album from the thumbnail views, click on 'Prev' or 'Next' to go forward or backward through the album.....
  20. Both twin turbos..maybe the more powerful version has bigger turbos or something
  21. Wouldn't make sense to have FWD ones on the lot in the NW...AWD makes more sense there...FWD is appropriate for the sunbelt states..
  22. Weird..both versions of the 4.7 have plenty of hp and torque, so the displacement really doesn't matter. They went from a 4.7 and 5.5 to two variations of a 4.7. I guess the kept the designation 550 instead of making it 470, which would confuse consumers..
  23. 4.6 V8, the 550 has a 5.5 according to Wikipedia..(edit: that was for the '12 ML...not sure if the '13 GL will be the same)
