  1. Sweet engine, but I just never cared for the C4s that much, at least compared to the C5.
  2. Maybe they could use two of them on a Cadillac model and mount them on the rear fender tips as a heritage cue...little fins.
  3. I could see this competing against the Explorer, with the Traverse competing against the Flex. And the Equinox against the Edge. Leaving a gap at the bottom (no Escape competitor).
  4. Hmmm...no Ford either...guess they are done w/ their US show season announcements..
  5. I wonder if Alpha is flexible enough to build something Fusion or Charger sized, though....the only Chevy Alpha concept shown so far is the tiny Code 130R...
  6. Depends on how they are using 'new'.. I read it as a nameplate not in the current lineup, so Chevelle would fit.
  7. Very sharp...I remember these were uncommon when new, always liked the back window treatment on the Aerocoupe.
  8. No...they can have Nissan and Datsun coexist as brands. It's not like they have to stick with how it was done in 1983 when they switched. It's just marketing...
  9. Sounds like this is going to be comparable to Dacia for non-Dacia markets. Probably will have variations on the same models.
  10. Sounds tiring...I have to do a couple weeks of work travel to a client site in the next few months...a week in April and a week in June..to central Louisiana.
  11. These are 1:64th scale diecast by Greenlight Collectibles.....sold at Target, Wal-Mart and various vendors online...I have a bunch of them in my diecast collection. More detail than Matchbox, Hot Wheels, or Johnny Lightning. Similar to M2. http://www.greenligh...m/products.html
  12. 140 inch wheelbase, 5000lbs...that's a big Caddy...but looks pretty narrow and austere inside..
  13. Interesting bodywork...like the rear window, rear fin rear lighting..the headlights work well here, IMO. A Buick turbo V6 would have been a more interesting engine choice. I lIke the stock looking steering wheel and gauges instead of the usual custom car cheese.
  14. All I said was - That would be pretty cool, especially if the Ute and Wagon were offered too - I didn't say GM would be out of their mind if they didn't offer the wagon or ute, nor did I say GM sucks for not bringing over the wagon and ute too. I was having a moment of hope, especially for the ute (though I would dump the Envoy for a wagon in a heartbeat! ). I know and don't expect the wagon or ute to arrive on our shores any time in the near future OK, I'll say those things then. They are out of their minds and they do suck! As a business case goes, GM probably figures it's not cost effective to bring the ute and wagon to the US if they are only likely to sell in the double or triple digits...
  15. Oh well..no great loss..that truck was so dated it made the Ranger look modern.
  16. way
  17. Bye bye
  18. I like the Mini dashes, though the speedometer has gotten a bit large on the current generation. At least it's different from the usual bland generic dash layout..
  19. Why not? The Dodge Charger R/T and SRT8 (which would be the target of a RWD V8 Chevy sedan) are in that price range more or less... Chevy sedans don't have be only cheap FWD volume appliances. Chevelle SS would be a good name for the model.
  20. Was in traffic in downtown Tempe this afternoon with a Leaf in front of me, a Mitsubishi i to my left, a Prius V on my right, a Volt to my left rear, a Rolls Royce Phantom behind me, and a Scion iQ to my right rear...interesting mix..
  21. Was an overambitious goal..things never move that fast in the auto industry.
  22. Interesting to hear about it being based on a new nameplate...I had assumed it would be the '13 Malibu. The '13 Focus and Charger NASCAR prototypes that have been shown look pretty good, a big improvement over the current generic COT bodies...
  23. Definitely a cleaner front end design, albeit less distinctive, than the gaudy Tuscon front end..
  24. 'Exp 9 F' isn't a very good name, even for a concept... to reach the target market, it needs to be more like 'Ca$hMoneyBallaRide' or something similar...
