  1. I'm wondering where the next Liberty is going to go...they should bring back the Cherokee name (as the Liberty is called outside NA), IMO.
  2. Makes sense...separate the RWD good stuff from the FWD appliances. I thought the Genesis models should have been in a separate brand to begin with...
  3. Keep the paint as is and slip a Buick Turbo V6 under the hood...
  4. Neat..but very plain for a Buick...
  5. Speaking of Super Bowl car ads, I loved the Chrysler one w/ Clint that just aired...
  6. They just played the ad...strange...a Barry Manilow song in a Chevy truck ad??
  7. Interesting...never had a gig w/ a company car...though I did once interview for a consulting position that included one..
  8. Decisions, decisions...the best looking grille of the stacked quad light years of Chevy PUs IMO was the '83-84.
  9. The '350' badge on the left side of the tailgate looks like a 3500-trim truck badge cut down.. not sure what the grafitti marks are on the right side of the tailgate.
  10. And yet the FWD platforms are eternal...look at how long the W lasted...
  11. But lower..w/ more car-like height....would be an interesting project for a customizer to build a modern Fleetwood Brougham off an Escalade platform...or a Sixteen-like vehicle. It's too bad the Sixteen was never built..what a shape.
  12. The seats look better than a vinyl bench seat...with some work inside and out it could be a neat cruiser...the paint scheme reminds me of an AAR Cuda.
  13. Slightly...the '70s Eldo is about 0.8 inch wider and about 2 inches longer also...what a difference in style, though...the Escalade is just a big blingy truck.
  14. They should build it and keep it as close to the concept as possible..that thing has style..
  15. Well, this is GM...new or old company, they are good at finding ways to squander opportunities...
  16. Beautiful car.... Yeah...the only thing near this size today at Cadillac is an Escalade ESV...
  17. I assume they will do a regular 4dr version for the US market also...
  18. Yes. I'd love to also see a CTS 4dr 'coupe'..i.e. the 4dr w/ the 2dr's fastback rear end...
  19. Buick + Cadillac sales are less than GMC. Hard to believe...
  20. Yes and rarely does GM do like Toyota and replace a Camry with a Camry or Corolla with Corolla. GM lets a car die on the vine, then kills it off waits 3 months and releases an entirely new product with a new name. Like minivans and GMT360s get killed to be later replaced by Lambdas and the current Equinox, which is nearly the size of the GMT360 Trailblazer. Yeah, about the only constants in car names GM has had over the last decade have been the Corvette, Malibu, and Impala....plus Camaro and Regal which have been brought back after a few years away.
  21. Neat... never cared for the flat '73-74 front, but I like the '75 front...but the '73 rear is nicer...a '73 w/ a '75 nose would be ideal.
  22. A coupe is an essential bodystyle the CTS needs...the new 3 (4?) series coupe is coming soon...
  23. I wonder how Cadillac sold -1 XLRs in Jan '11.
  24. Well, Bentley's one would be a super-luxury CUV/SUV, while Lambo's would be a super-performance CUV/SUV. And then Bugatti's one would be uber-lux/uber-performance thingy.. Does it seem like VW is slicing the pie in too many pieces w/ all their brands?
  25. I heard a while back that a side affect of fracking was earthquakes in Ohio, scary stuff...
