Sweet Z... I had a white one rental for a long weekend in LA a couple of years ago and loved it...

There are 5 RDXs in my work parking lot..I see quite a few of them around..the price seems competitive.

I heard on the news today that scientists believe the world will end in about 7 million years (earth will burn up from solar radiation). So there's plenty of time. Go green, buy a Prius, live long and prosper.

Yes, I remember several nice drives on my favorite back roads in Ohio's Amish country in a 300M.... another trip I went to a wedding in SW New York (on the PA line) and had a black LHS...I thought it handled quite well for a large FWD sedan on the twisty back roads..

Unfortunately, the GLK is going to be painfully ugly, though..

It snowed up in Alpine--east of San Diego-- last month, closed I-8, IIRC..

Yeah, they seemed to be about the size of a LeSabre or Bonneville, I think.. Intrepids, LHSes, Concordes and 300Ms were my favorite rental cars from '99-04. I used to get them several times a year at the Columbus and Pittsburgh airports..

In talking w/ my mom and brother, it sounds like they've had a lot of the snow/rain/freeze/snow cycle in Eastern Ohio this winter...sounds like it's been a rough one there. It was a great day here in the Denver today--60 and sunny.

Speaking of crappy compacts, a coworker's wife's '01 Passat was in the shop today (needed a $2k cam shaft fix), and he had a Caliber rental...what a steaming pile... infinitely depressing gray concrete-hardness plastics inside, horrible blind spots (very thick A-pillar trim, huge C-pillar blind spots, tiny windows). Worst thing I've ridden in since an HHR last year.
