  1. That could be extremely cool on a modern car if done right.
  2. Staples in Micheal Jackson's favorite town
  3. That's Camry, Accord, Impala territory.
  4. Hey Fly, any way we can get a stock ticker for the big 2.5 on the front page?
  5. I can do better than that. There are 1996 Fleetwoods and Roadmasters out there worth more than a 2001 ES
  6. this has become a regular habit of mine
  7. why does it matter as long as all 5 tests are consistent?
  8. That's the point. They're not ment to be a mainstream car. Cadillac could help it's market share by pricing the CTS at 25k, but that ruins the exclusivity of it. If Chrysler is having trouble moving the higher end models, they need to shift production more to the Charger and Plymouth Fury *cough* I mean 300 2.7.
  9. put an Ecotec in there and the Aveo instantly pwnes the others.....
  10. Waste of money? No because they get to charge a premium for a vehicle that really doesn't cost them that much more over a regular 300c. Could they have been done better? Probably. I know one big issue that would bug me as a potential buyer is the inability to completely disable the electronic nannies.
  11. It it not wise to come in here and challenge us as a group to a battle of wits. Many of us individually have more wits than you. Collectively, you don't stand a chance.
  12. I've been getting them constantly this evening
  13. Are you just the new voice of Buickman?
  14. now running nearly a dollar over the previous 52 week high.
  15. Pittsburgh. 3br/2bath, fireplace, hardwood floors, 3 porches, 1 car garage, full basement with 1/2 finished, 1/3rd acre of land, 15 minutes from downtown Pitt, in one of the nicer neighborhoods. Price? $87,500
  16. I got it... geez...
  17. did I say holding steady? I meant to say, "shot up about 50 cents above it's 52 week high" currently 34.48
  18. Agreed. I like the carbon fiber trim and the solstice steering wheel
  19. currently holding steady just above it's $34 a share 52 week high. Good thing I shorted the stock, eh Buickman?
  20. You, I'm sure, realize that if that is the extent of GM's issues, it makes GM look like the paragon of reliability compared to Toyota. In addition, with the exception of the Equinox, nearly all of those problems are for discontinued or nearly discontinued models/platforms. I do want to address an issues from that site though as there is a bit of misrepresentation. 1. Equinox grinding sound while turning: The site indicates that this is a problem with the strut and multiple replacements of the strut. The problem isn't really the strut it is premature wear of the CV joint. Still a problem, yes, but one that if addressed properly the first time is resolved. This is more an issue of tech training than poor strut design.
  21. Gaah! That awful steering wheel material and texture! I had an '05 Plymouth Fury rental with that stuff. I'll admit that I might be a bit spoiled with a leather and wood steering wheel in the CTS, but that rental's texture was so unpleasant to touch. I drove with my hands on the spokes just to avoid the wheel.
  22. Ya know, it's a fine little car who's only major failing is that it is a badge job. At least it's a relatively attractive badge job.
