  1. Actually, apparently the 4.3 did ok as far as reliability was concerned it was the 5.7 that had most of the reliability issues. 0-60 was measured by scientists with carbon dating equipment. Speaking of carbon, you'd usually get a layer a couple inches thick on the whole rear of the car. Mpg was in the mid 40s.
  2. Limited Slip Differential
  3. Isn't that embargoed?
  4. Incorrect. There is no one fuel* that is the correct answer. The correct answer is "diversification" *That hydrogen is even a fuel and not just an energy storage medium is another debate
  5. The HHR one was the only decent one of the bunch....
  6. I could see people who want near the performance of an M5 but not the price tag or repair bills being supremely attracted to this. Given all the nice write ups the last Commodore had even when compared to the previous M5, it's not an impossibility.
  7. and if my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a wagon.
  8. *scoff* Just another example of Buick using "ancient" technology.
  9. The interior is way above Pontiac's expected class.
  10. I just don't understand what all the speculation is about. You can see clearly that it's Commodore based. It's a Commodore with a Pontiac grill. Not that it's a bad thing, I may even go for a G8 over a CTS in '08.
  11. Ya gotta Sonata.....
  12. How many SUV drivers take their vehicles off road? It's not that they do, it's that they could..... edit: Everyone likes the idea of a car that runs 500k miles. It sells cars. Few ever keep theirs that long though.
  13. fixed I don't think either brand is safe.
  14. I'll say it again. Expect a Holden Commodore with the Pontiac front end you see there. Go to Holden's website if you want to see what this thing will look like.
  15. but that doesn't excuse the car rags from blasting on the domestic's digital dashes while giving a pass to Honda and Nissan <which did them before too>.
  16. but not the SRX?
  17. I think it's the "look and feel" they're going after. Ya know, not selling cars out of a mobile office trailer like Mitsubishi is doing these days.....
  18. Most Jag/Land Rover dealers seem to be paired up with other premium makes. Around here we have a Jag/LR/BMW and a Jag/Lex/Volvo Mazda usually seem to be paired with someone else also.... oddly, around here, it's generally VW.
  19. Saturn Plans Dealer Refresh Modeled on Apple Stores The company will announce a new retail strategy at the Chicago auto show press preview in February, and while she would not reveal details, Lajdziak, who openly admires Apple's relationship with its customers and the demographics of those customers, said the new strategy will bear a clear "Apple influence."
  20. and the fact that the Crown Vic is now outselling the 500
  21. So wait... digital speedometers are cool again?
  22. I see nothing wrong with the W-bodies for what they were in their day. My problem is with how long they've been around. Of course, the only ones worth their salt were the Olds models. :AH-HA_wink:
  23. expected and unremarkable. You wouldn't know it was "special" except for the logo on the grill.
  24. Could be, but not always. Even when the dealer does my oil change, they put that stupid sticker up on my windshield saying to come back in 3000 miles. It gets taken down before I even turn the key.
