  1. Doesn't sound like $350 worth.
  2. I'm still rather confused as to Alfa's position in the FCA lineup. Are they planning on it being a BMW competitor? If so, they are rather boxed in with Maserati at the $65k price point.
  3. Well I'm already pleased with the car. :-) It has only been back for oil changes, tire rotations, and one recall for improperly torqued seat bolts. We originally planned to just lease it for the 24 months and then turn it in for another, but life changes and we're going to buy it out at the end of the lease instead and keep it for another year or two.
  4. diesel is high because we also use it to heat houses in the US and the winter this year is forecast to be super cold.
  5. You're a special case because you're Editor/Reporter. Buying a subscription cannot auto-upgrade you. I'll check your subscription status and fix. Yes, I am working on updating the look and layout a bit.
  6. what does the big service entail?
  7. Thanks guys
  8. These can be a handful to drive if you're not careful, I'm sure the AWD will help that a lot.
  9. These are great driving cars too. They drive a lot smaller than they are. They would probably make decent cop cars too if the police forces weren't so hell-bent on RWD.
  10. Indeed! Can you do any video ?
  11. Na, I think it is too much car to be the Malibu. This should have been a Caprice maybe with the SS getting the Impala name.
  12. The Maxima doesn't have the interior niceness. The Cadenza doesn't have the handling nor the solid feel, scratch the surface and you find the underlying Kia cheapness. To get all the same equipment as this Regal GS in a BMW 328, you have to spend another $6,000 and you're still down on power. The MKZ is junk... there... I said it. The TLX is the most natural competitor from an equipment and price perspective and it comes with a V6. It doesn't really float my boat looks wise, but there it is.
  13. what issue do U have with USB? I haven't been experiencing any issues with that either. It drives my phone nuts and doesn't actually play any music. I have a Galaxy S4.
  14. I have no problem with Bluetooth, but I want to be able to use USB.
  15. Well good. Maybe my android phone will do a better job of playing my music on one of these.
  16. So do you think they are just trying to get a bit extra profit for the auto then and if it does not sell well they can say see no one wanted these type of auto's under the Buick name plate. The Regal is about quality rather than quantity. If you're looking for raw speed, this isn't your car. If you're looking for the most cubic feet of passenger room for your dollar, this isn't your car. The Regal is your car if you want an excellently balanced sedan with plenty of pickup, in a solid and luxurious package, at a price that doesn't break the bank compared to equally equipped competition. The price premium for the GS trim is a bit excessive in my opinion, but it does get higher end tech not available in the regular Regal. If it were my money, I'd probably go for a top of the line non-GS.
  17. I'd prefer the XTS myself. I like the softer ride at the touch of a button.
  18. Very little, if any, comes from Europe.
  19. Subaru continuing to kick ass. At this rate of growth, they'll be surpassing Kia soon. But I still wonder if they can handle the continued growth. They're going to need another model or two or they're going to level out soon. If they could come out with a competitive replacement for the Tribecca and make it into a Japanese Grand Cherokee....
  20. The Leaf and Pruis ride and drive like crap. The Volt doesn't.
  21. There's the end of Avenger. I haven't seen any new Chargers on the road yes, though a couple of Challengers. I wonder if there is a slowdown there due to switch over of the model. Durango was going like gangbusters this time last year.. it will probably have a few months that look off.
  22. The XT5 couldn't charge that price unless it moves up on interior room. That is X5 territory. 99.99999999% of buyers don't care about "packaging" as long as the vehicle meets their needs. Even enthusiasts don't care. You are the only one on a car enthusiast forum who cares that the SRX is bigger on the outside than its competition. The MKC is more of a tweener. It feels only marginally bigger inside than my Encore (and most of that room is in the trunk).
  23. No. For the 99th time. The SRX is the same size interior as the GLK and X3. Buyers of this segment seem to prefer the FWD models
