I've never felt that the live-axle Mustangs handle poorly. From what I've heard, the IRS they put in the Cobra was a waste, since it didn't handle too much better and made it tough to launch smoothly.

Since they (unfortunately) didn't crush all of the crappy cars made before I entered my formative years, I've been aware of much of the garbage that hasn't been actively advertised in my lifetime.

Price I'm assuming the 2010 Mustang prices will stay $500-$1000 over what the 2009s are. If so, that puts my Mustang around $35,000. The Camaro Builder puts my 2LT RS at around $32,000, over $36,000 for the 1SS. Add at least $3000 on top of that to make the top drop, probably more since the price difference between coupe and convertible on the 2009 Mustang is almost $5000.
