Nicknames for people you work with
You have no idea. Over the years, I've had plenty of people whose names I didn't bother to learn, so they just got descriptions. Like "Generic tool" "Strange looking troll chick" and "Hot body, weird face chick."

Officially Official: 2010 Ford Taurus SHO!
Wow, this thread reminds me of driving across Missouri. You've got some interesting stuff at the ends (pg 1-2, 5/K.C. & StL) with a bunch of retarded, inbred crap in the middle. I'm glad the SHO is coming back, Ford has been doing some cool, interesting stuff. Boohoo, its AWD, WAAAA. I'm pretty sure nobody at Ford is going to lose sleep over pissing off a guy whose monthly income wouldn't cover the average monthly payment on a Mustang V6.

What do radio stations NOT play enough?
Nickelback, it seems nobody ever plays Nickelback anymore. Oh, wait, its not opposite day. A week or so ago, I checked 3 different stations, all 3 were playing a different Nickelback song.

Pre-production Chevy Camaros begin rolling off Oshawa assembly line
Um 1/3 of my fleet is GM. The other 2/3 are vehicles in classes GM doesn't sell. If GM wants my money, make something reasonably close to what I want. It doesn't have to be a BOF, RWD, V8, pillarless hardtop, just make an attempt at competing with cars others market successfully. But instead they keep rebadging Chevys with split grills and calling them EXCITEMENT.

>>> Chuck Norris
Chuck Norris performs late term abortions on the mentally handicapped teenage girls he rapes. Offensive? Probably, but no less funny than any other Chuck Norris joke.

True, unless we're talking about GM's bottom line.

Bob Lutz retiring
Whose idea was it to accelerate the GMT-900 programs? 'Cause that was a pretty bad idea in hindsight, probably wasn't the best idea at the time either.

The truth about the 2004-2006 GTO
I've been shopping elsewhere for new vehicles because GM hasn't had what I/we wanted. Midsize sedan, 4cyl/manual transmission in the Summer of 2006? Nothing from GM, went with Ford. Hybrid sedan in the Spring of '08? GM only sold the Malibu and Aura in certain areas of the country, and neither gets good enough mileage to justify the hassle, went with Toyota. I cant bitch too much about the MINI (she's picking it up Valentine's Day!) because nobody offers anything similar in the states. At least not yet. So for all the talk of GM needing 8 brands to cover every corner of the market, there are huge gaps they dont cover, so whats the point of all these brands?

Stop light in the middle of nowhere
Completely unrelated to red lights, but it was the same road the stop light posted above is on, and it involved a sheriff. I was in the Sebring going about 65 (in a 45 at about 10 at night) when I saw an oncoming car, I didn't think anything of it until the car was passin me and I saw it was a sheriff's car. I looked in my mirror and saw him slam on his brakes and flip on his lights. He didn't have anyplace wide enough to turn around for about a quarter-mile, so I sped up to get to a side road that had several artery roads. It took a couple minutes longer, but I made it to where I was going without getting ticketed.

Stop light in the middle of nowhere
There is one light that takes forever to change late at night. It really pisses me off, so I usually make sure there is nobody coming, then I run it. I pulled up to it on night and a county sheriff pulled up behind me. So I sat there and waited. And waited. Finally the cop flipped his lights on, went around me and went straight through. Jerk probably sat there waiting to see if I'd run the light, but I didn't, it changed soon enough.

Stop light in the middle of nowhere
Way back in the day, when I was delivering, I got stuck in a line of southbound traffic waiting for the police to lift a barricade they had set up for a parade or something. So instead of waiting like a normal person, I turned right into a parking lot, shot back to the other entrance to the lot, gunned it to get into the northbound lane, in the process forcing a minivan to slam on their brakes, then I made a quick right turn to get on a side street so I could take an alternate route. All this with a handful of police officers no more than 300 feet away. To make matters worse, I had the goofy "Pizza Hut" sign on my car that day. Apparently one of the cops decided to call the manager on duty to tattle on me or something. The part thr cop apparently stressed to her was that my running through the parking lot was illegal. Your post made me think of cutting through gas stations instead of waiting in line to make a right hand turn, which reminded me of that.
