  1. Still makes me scratch my head on how JD Power and cr and be so off of one another.
  2. I can't wait for the smaller Suburban that seats 7 :).
  3. Decent name, but I still don't know why they got rid Vous.
  4. How about comparing the Cobalt which we are seeing 40 mpg if driven like my brother has to drive his prius to get 45 mpg.
  5. Wasn't this something to be expected. I thought I remember him stating that he wanted this last Corvette to carry his legacy.

    I saw...

I taught Eric Milligan, the scientist / Dr. in Bones, how to ski when we where kids. We grew up together.
  7. I screams 1980s to me. It actual looks older than previous generations.
  8. Yeah, where's the pics?
  9. Yeah, though it doesn't sound like they did a very good job of it. They should have mentioned toyotas low performance in other catagories for gas mileage.
  10. The Vous has been popular, they change the name. Why are they taking so long to introduce these vehicles?
  11. We had one of those. Loved it, though it ate alot of gas and needed the repair shop all to often (though still less than the toyota p/u I had when I was 18).
  12. I agree that a small Buick would be a smart move. Those same people that are purchasing the majority of cars are the ones retiring and needing something to put behind their motorhomes. There is no reason Buick couldn't build the BEST small car around with luxury features others wouldn't consider.
  13. Buick should consider something similar with the Lucerne. Interesting that the GM ad back then concentrated on the positive traits of the car and excitement rather than the deal of the month.
  14. Ok, so why doesn't someone young and with time introduce such a bill in their state to get the ball rolling? Any of you younger people have the time?
  15. Something to things to think about. 1. Loosing more jobs means looksing more tax income, while paying out more unemployment. 2. Loosing more jobs means less money to eductate our children. 3. Everytime we purchase more Japanese products we add to our deficit to them. The solution; Everytime someone purchases a foreign made car that was made in a country we have a deficit too, we ad a tax that would help pay back the deficit. Hmmm, that means adding $25,000 to every toyota & honda sold. Works for me.
  16. It is great to see the Cobalt do so well in the first year. I wonder if it's ranking had more to do with the number they made than the number that would have been bought. GM should take a page from the toyota book and name cars like the HHR, the Cobalt HHR. They don't have to use the Cobalt name in advertising or on the car like the solara, just for the counting side.
  17. There is something wrong or weird about a Roadmaster doing a burn out.
  18. The Suburban was a favorite of mine in the 70s and 80s and still is today. No SUV seems to have it all together like the Suburban. It has the class to escort the President, the ability to tow the biggest trailer one can buy, the capability to go almost anywhere, and gets the gas mileage of much smaller vehicles. No matter what gas mileage is, the Suburban will always be something I would love to afford to have.
  19. Funny, my wife and I don't like Saturn because the bad service we have received at the Saturn dealer. It will be interesting to see if the brand can take off with the right products.
  20. It will still be the best selling product in its segment because of price, dealer network, and GM backing. It is sad that it doesn't get better gas mileage, and have a more "futuristic" look.
  21. I did get the CD, though getting 2004 brochures was a tough thing. The CD also came in the 2003 brochures.
  22. What ever they can do to seperate the GMC from the Chevy, they should do. Big question is; Chevy has been tailgating Ford pretty hard in the sales #s. Will the new truck have Chevy take the lead?
  23. The Impala was at the top of JD Power quality reports. Where did he get below average? The Impala plant is also at the top of the report, above the camry plant, though as typical it was not mentioned in the article.
  24. Uh, that would not be so hot for Buicks change in image. Though making another Roadmaster or Estate Wagon with a killer V-8 in a rear wheel drive form would be.
  25. In th end Oldsmobile seemed to have the theme they are trying out with other GM divisions. Oldsmobile was always ahead of the other divisions and even in it's death is ahead.
