    Netbooks

If you are looking for a small, portable laptop I would recommend Lenovo X-series. They can be quite pricey though, and I'm not too sure that they qualify as a "netbook."
  2. Finally...some regular updates. I hope you keep up the good work. I don't know why, but I always set the homepage as my default page even though it rarely changed.
  3. You have a baby now?! Where is "the poconos"?
  4. I've been wanting to see the Lacrosse interior in black...I see you snapped a shot of it. WIsh you got more, but it looks great.
  5. It figures...Not like I didn't see it coming.
  6. GM admits this is a common complaint, and even admits that it has been an ongoing issue, yet does NOTHING about it and just write it off as "It's a natural condition with ... medium-duty to heavy-duty vehicles, it's been a condition since Day One that they were ever built," GM employee Ronald Klemme said in a deposition. "I'm very knowledgeable of (the) condition. I don't acknowledge, I guess, that there's a problem there." Absolute garbage.

  8. Happy b-day, dude!
  9. Well, the HS is supposedly based off the Prius, and correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Prius based off the Yaris platform? Regardless of what platform this vehicle is based on, the matter is it LOOKS like a corolla/avensis with the similar proportions. I'll give credit to decent exterior designs such as the IS and GS...this thing is just awful though. And regardless of how good the materials are, that interior design would look foul even in an economy car.
  10. WTF indeed.
  11. Tell me about it...granted, going to a private university doesn't help...Luckily I have a pretty good scholarship. I'm dreading this next semester though. 19 units, and hopefully a new job giving me at least a 20+ hour work week...it is going to be hell. No.
  12. I've been there, and I definitely would not mind living there. Australia is pretty awesome.
  13. While you can't do anything about the transversely mounted engine, isn't the AWD system it is using the haldex system utilized in the saab turbo-x? Isn't that a rear-biased system? Correct me if I'm wrong.
  14. That's such a great picture.

    Frozen Pizza

Yeah, Whole Foods is pretty good. That buffet section of theirs is great. Very overpriced though. Trader Joe's is a favorite of mine as well...In fact, I made a frozen pizza the other day from them.
  16. I brought this up in DF's thread comparing the concept and production models, but I will say it again...I worry how this car will look in other trim levels with the smaller wheels. Such a large, bulky design on anything smaller than what it has in the press shots would leave a lot to be desired it seems.

    Frozen Pizza

I still don't get that whole "natural" thing.... That just irks me...It is basically saying "We're offering you an option now...You can choose the "natural" version with real ingredients, or you can just have the regular old "fake" crap we normally dish out."
  18. I worry about how this car will look in the lower trim leels with smaller wheels.
  19. When I immediately saw it, I hated it. Way too fat looking...but now the design is starting to sink in a bit, and some better pictures definitely helped. It still looks bloated, but some other colors may help it's case. Interior is nice. I'd love to see both the interior and exterior in black.
  20. That is because you have never had a good beer I'd imagine. Good beers are far different than your typical Anheuser-Busch/Miller/Coors garbage.
  21. I feel sorry for you and your lack of brewskies. My condolences.

    Frozen Pizza

Well, frozen would be a bit cheaper I'd imagine...CPK is great though. We have both the sit-down version and the "ASAP's" version in town.
