What Do You Guys Think?
Right. If the bolt pattern is not the same (moer than likely) than you're wasting your time weighing the variables. If they bolt up take a short drive and have a buddy spot you in a parking lot, check for rub & the overall look. For all you know they're not going to fit anyway. If ALL these varaibles work out then do as you wish, it's not for anyone else to decide. maybe they'll look great and maybe they'll look lame, who knows? A few years ago I almost bought a 1986 Pontiac G/P with rims off of a S10 eXtreme, for some reason I loved the way it looked, the car was two tone burgundy and the rims were aluminum w/ the gold detailing. Even though on paper that sounds like a horrble idea I liked it. Too bad it was a 305 powered car with high milage & he wantd too much $. (are T-tops rare on late-80s G-body G/Ps?)

2008 H2 interior revamp
Dude.... Land Rovers & more so, Range Rovers have turned inot real pieces of $hit recently. They are so dog-damn over rated it makes me sick. Sure they have some off-road prowess & a ruged structure but they suck in terms of practicality, reliability & quality. Their styyling makes me want to too!

LS3 in LS2 out?
I'm not sure who you are, but welcome to the forum. I like the way you think! Also, why do we not have more gear-drive cams out there these days!?

My 2003 Impala
As much as I resent them for their FWD I sold many an Impala and I really felt it was a MUCH better deal than a stupid Camry or Accord. Great cars, excelent safety rating & the best of the affordable sedans from GM, post-B-body.

Good News, Bad News...
Speaking of the Super 88 I got home last night, had dinner and immediatelly got to work looking for part time jobs. The way I figured it I'd keep the Super 88, and buy the Buick as well! If I could part out the '97 STS for $2000 I would only need $1800 which means 200 hours working at $10 an hour at some brainless job at nights. So in other words, 8pm-12pm M-F for 10 weeks = $2000. The guy with the Buick is not hurting money wise, he's ALSO a lot like me where he's selling the car but he wants it to go to the right owner. When the car was in Hemmings he was approached by a guy who wanted to chop it up into a pro-street of some sort and Mr. L was not too keen on that. I'll set up a payment plan with him and as money's coming in I'll pay him off. then by April I've got my '59 ready to go! And then I got a call from a gentleman in Kansas who is still interested in the car, we havve not discussd price yet but there's a big chance he'll buy the Super 88 off me in the next week or so. We'll see. Que Sera, Sera

Looking For a Few Models...
WTF were they THINKING leaving the windows up on the Jada model??? At least this time around I did not need to take a heated up exacto knife to that like with the MB CLK last year, S-Penguin still laughs about that.

Desktops!
Cool... love the one of an F-15 taking off like a rocket at a 45* angle. Here's my current one, I took a break from V16 Cadillacs.

So who wants to help me...
I wish Jim Norton was here to insert a very twisted one liner.

Survey: Wealthy Buyers Give Top Marks to Cadillac
I think what is really holding them back is that their cars are nothing more than Hondas with slightly better styling and standard leather seating. Acuras are almost in every case just rebadges & dressed up economy cars with small V6s and over rated 4-bangers with FWD. FWD is quickly becoming a joke in the Luxury car game. RWD is acceptable and REAR-biased AWD is where it's at. The whole SH-AWD never caught on because like most things Honda it's 90% marketing and 10% real world benefit.

New Dodge Roadster Concept??
Awful. Even more ugly than that other POS.... the Razor or M80 or whatever it was called. I can not STAND these "industrial architecture" designs on sports cars.

ssssssshhhhhhh......
They're all hideous, but the highlander wins the award for vehicle that best resembles a steaming hot lump of cow $hit! GROSSS!

CHICAGO: 2008 Mercury Sable
Wow so theny killed the Taurus & Sable off... cancelled production, all done BUH-BYE. .... only to "resurect" them via rebadge about 21 days later? W T F ? ! This rebadge is liek a REALLY LAME card trick, the kind where you ask your audience to turn around for 30 sec., like Jesus in South Park.

CHICAGO: 2008 Ford Taurus X
Ford has lost it... they're in god damn la-la land over there in Dearborn, WAKE UP! Did a bunch of Nabisco executives take over FoMoCo? Sure as hell seems like it.

Way Overdue
Very cool, restore it sans bumpers like an SCCA race car.

A 1983 Cutlass Ciera...
I'd imagine it would be the Rocket-350 based Diesel. I might be wrong though. for a while there GM thought Diesels were God's gift to 80s cars... now they just do not bother to make ANY diesel cars here in the USA.

DF, Jessi: Throw your photos up here when you get a chance. Top 40 or whatever. Where the hell are XP's photos? Is his G/F still having computer problems?

So you only drive between the hours of 11:00pm and 4:00am?

Sketch Competition #14 - Next-Generation Cobalt
So ditch Delta. Throw it in the dumpster and come up with your own idea. It's just a sketch, we're not asking GM to invest money in it. I for one would love to see GM go 95% RWD with FWD being only for the TINY little Korean based econoboxes. AWD optional (rear bias) in most everyhing.

Production G8 coming early 2008
If it is meant to replace the GP why would it be V8 only and priced to replace the Bonnie???
-
GOLF TSI
Cool. Not a bad concept... until you have to replace a $1300 turbocharger, $800 supercharger & $400 clutch in ONE service visit... and labor adds up to about $1800 on te job. Complication is like a cancer that is spreading in all new cars. More and more & MORE we buy cars that the wet dream of Murphey's Law, This car, along with the Prius will litter junkyards in a few years like Mopar Kias & Hyundais do today.
