  1. Chrysler seems to suck at rear ends recently and more so they REALLY seem to suck at C-pillars. This thing is gross. The whole fake window trim that's glued to the C-pillar and the rest of the blacked out door trim is just plain gross. Even the tail lights are very poor.

  3. The K5 was very cool but almost a little too short in wheelbase.
  4. Fly: This happened in 1999 and the truck was a 1995 Blazer S10. It was in 100% safe shape, tires, brakes etc. were all fine. The state of Massachusetts gave him a pass safety/inspection sticker and he was coming home from work as an armored truck driver. The ABS came on durring a normal situation at a red light, it was drizzling and slightyl downhill. The truck's ABS came on and then it stopped pulsating but the calipers were stuck in the OFF position. Not wanting to kill the person in front of him who was in a compact car he swerved and and went off the road, through a small stone fence and into a tree. How do you "maintain" ABS?
  5. Best looking 2007 Trucks? YES. Dissapointingly bland: YES.
  6. Too bland but overall a B+ by my standards. Fly: what's the matter with the RAM? (outside of some quality issues)
  7. Truth is stranger than fiction.... "What is life but a series of coincedences" I like O.B. corolary to GM vs. Toyota. Toyota SUX!
  8. Prediction: 9,995 lives will be lost when people over-compensate for these systems by driving even worse just because they know they have a larger margin of error. Also, the remaining 5 saved lives will be snuffed by electronic gremlins which will cause the system to fail and make the car loose control. Just like my friend Alex who slammed his Blazer into a tree after his ABS got stuck and he lost ALL braking.
  9. For $36K I think you should get two of these things. It's true about people destroying these cars at these type of events... the Acura RSX at the autoshow a few years back was stripped of it's shift knob, any & all buttons, non-screwed in trim & even things like the ashtray. People are assholes and the go there just to destroy things. I hate Acura & Lexus too but I think that's not cool... it happens to all the brands.
  10. Put that in your pipe & smoke it!

  12. Wow... awsome. A first for me too.
  13. Stalin killed millions of people but that's anything to celebrate. (neither is an over rated, soulless appliance)
  14. Yeah.... I was not firing on all 8 cylinders last night at midnight when I posted that. I'm getting up at 5:45 these days so sleep is a luxury.
  15. Hondas are getting uglier by the day.
  16. Fly got all of them correct. O.B. did too AND he caught my one mistake.
  17. YellowDart is up to 6 points. Next question: http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...showtopic=11911
  18. T1GHT WH!P$ TROPHY TRIVIA In the next few weeks I'm going to post 59 different trivia questions of all different forms on C&G. Multiple choice, photo identification, photo match up & even some true or false. Some questions will be multiple part and others a simple one word answer. At the end of the 59 individual trivia thread questions all the winners will be added up and a trophy will be mailed via the USPS to the over all winner of the first annual Tight Whips Trivia Trophy. Best of luck to all, I encourage everyone to participate. -------------------- Current Score: Fly: 10 Yellow_Dart: 6 WMJ: 5 Chevelle7.4L: 3 Balthazar: 2 OldsGuy: 2 American_Revolution2005: 1 T.W.T.T. Thread #30 Match up the correct letter to the corresponding number.
  19. Wow... one of the best looking compact cars ever.
  20. I love classic MINIs but even in the older, Rover ones I did not care for the Clubman. They're goofy and just come off as a Woody-wannabe. I did like certain Austin & Rover Mini spinoffs.... Here's a couple neat ones:
  21. Voted: YES!!!! Long live the firechicken!!!! (not holding my breath though) Great Sig. MM.
  22. I love my Super 88 but some day I'll sell it to afford one of these cars, it's like a Russian Ice Breaker on wheels.
  23. Well said Griffon. Marcia & I are doing pretty well, things are looking up. I'm hoping to stay friends with Beth but I've promissed to Marcia that I'd take a break from talking to her so that we can concentrate on us.
  24. Send some hard-core dirty, nasty pornography to your boss and mark the manilla envelope "confidential". Should make for a good laugh all around, esp. if she's uptight.

Thread #29 This car has not made it to production yet but according to several sources it will next year. Here's the projected specs. - 20 inch rims - Rear mounted transmission - 4.7 litre motor - Heavy use of carbon fibre HINT: I've often referred to the concept as one of the most beautiful cars ever. It makes the Cisitalia at the MMA look plain by comparison.
