  1. Hmmm.... I'm still perplexed at the notion of Isuzu pulling out of the US market, with SUVs still selling like hotcakes and pickups doing well.
  2. It's a cool car for what it is. Wonder if XP can post some photos of his old FWD, mini-Toronado.
  3. Please show your work. Where did you get those numbers? And even if that IS true: if sales = worthwhile vehicle than you must LOVE the Camry & Accord.
  4. No*: Junkyard tires at $5.00 a pop are a great excuse to pull $h! like this every week, although broken trans. & rear ends may result if you get over zealous.
  5. There was an awsome looking "fastback" show car in the mid-1950s that featured a wheelbase & overall length in line with a 1930s car more so than a 1950s 2-door. It looked like a hardtop but was not although the rear side windows tilted out like a 1970s BMW. Also, the rear window was positioned more like a moonroof than a backlight and the tail lights look like afterburners. Name the car.
  6. One time me and a C&G member who will remain anonymous picked up a couple of MILFs at a bar in Lowell and then after a 72 hour orgy of drugs, unprotected sex and S&M one of them ended up dead in the trunk of our '57 Plymouth Belvedere... I popped the trunk to grab my sawed off 12-gauge so we could rob a Liquer Store and there she is, neither one of us could remember how or why she ended up there. Well, after we speed-balled & finished off that 4 liter of Vodka we screwed up to Lebanon, Maine and burried the evidence in shallow grave in a swampy part of town. It actually went pretty smoothly until that spade shovel broke & we just threw a dirty dog blanket over the exposed part of the corpse and screwed out of there. That night I drove back to Mass on a 1/2 bottle of caffene pills and 3 two-liters of Mountain Dew.... we pissed into a empty bucket of kitty litter and shot out the rear tire of a Box Van on the way back but other wise meintained a low profile. Thank God we did not get pulled over at the toll booth when we drove through it doing 92mph while snorting coke off the dash.
  7. The VIN can tell you the date of manufacture or at least a ballpark, I just have not done the legwork yet.
  8. Diesel Fuel? 76: Thank god I have power assist, unlike my 4-wheel drum brake Camaro.
  9. Wow... MUCH cooler than the Prius.
  10. I want a Pontiac Firefly 3-door, 3-cylinder.
  11. Yeah.... BOF designs dating back to 1978 are pretty crappy. I'd LOVE to see a BOF car designed in 2006 compared to a unibody. The Lucerne didn't do any better.
  12. Fit 5-dr exterior, Yaris interior, Kia Rio motor, Ford Taurus Trans, Nissan Sentra rear suspension & Toyota Prius gas tank.
  13. Best Movie of all time: Joe Dirt I watched "Lord of War" the other day: GREAT STUFF! A+
  14. Just get a crew cab Silverado or a CTS or GTO, don't go for FWD. Out of the cars on your list I'd only consider an Impala SS & only if I could get a spoiler & emblem delete and with steelies with chrome center caps and a Anteana collection on the trunklid.
  15. Yup... this guy makes me feel sorry for him. I wonder how much he over-payed when he bought his tan Camry LE.
  16. I don;t care abotu Minivans.... it's a dying market. Most everyone who buys a Minivan because they "need" one, actually wants a truck, sedan or a crossover - combination of both. Minivan's have a horrible stigmata and while they have a legit and important role in the marketplace they are neither high-profile or big sellers.
  17. A Ford TT is double the size of a 1959 Datsun pickup.
  18. Hey O.B. try this link: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Six...nt=DSCN3707.flv if it asks for a password: sixty8
  19. There's one of these ugly Bedbugs in Nashua, NH. I'll post photos later, SP has seen it too.
  20. Honda Ridgeline on a Honda Element chassis, Toyota Prius Hybrid drivetrain. Enough said.
  21. I too think Bras look like a$$ and ruin a car if left on long term, but for a 300 mile roartrip through dust, sand, dirt & grvel lined roads it is a great way to prevent paint damage, IF left on temp.
  22. I love Leno's RWD Toronado, and yes it's only like 42% Toronado but who cares, he made a statement, and a great one at that. This is exactly my point though, plenty of J2000s, Berettas & even an occasional Alero get modified to be RWD but part of the reason why not too many RWD cars get a FWD transverse mounted V6 is because it's lame & boring. It's for appliances like Honda Accords.
  23. Kitten
  24. Just another dumb bigot! I agree, report it to GM, I'm confused how GM should be punished, seems like the logical thing to do is to go to a different dealership, not buy a non-GM product despite what you want...? Sorry to hear about that experience, that guy is hurting GMs reputation but as an adult I think you should realise punishing the Pontiac brand is 1. not going to change anything, 2. unfair to the hundreds of other Pontiac dealers in the area. If you give your business to the Pontiac dealer down the road and tell all your frineds to do the same you'll ba hurting him where in counts, in his wallet.
