  1. What, no interior shots? I remarked in another thread, that shade of purple is similar to what was on the Neiman Marcus Edition XLR.
  2. Hey, that looks like the Neiman Marcus XLR.
  3. "Homophobic"? Maybe. But "moron" is uncalled for.
  4. That does a great deal to complete the atrocious fender lines. Someone actually figured out how to make a Honda Element look better.
  5. Sweet merciful crap! Congrats on the SS!
  6. Oh boy... Here comes inflation.
  7. The door controls aren't out of reach so much as the console controls are. "Belvedere" "Yes, sir." "Please reach behind you and turn the temperature up two degrees on my side of the car." Those controls. Between the seats. The guy in that pic looks like he'd have to lean all the way forward to fiddle with them.
  8. I say get the Creative Zen, just because it's not tied to one of those megacorporations. It's the hippy's first choice in MP3 playback. I had bought a Palm Zire 71 a few years ago, and that served me well as an MP3 player until I stopped listening to music on the go (and started listening to MP3-CDs in the Cobalt ). The PDA is still functional and could continue performance as an MP3 player (using SD cards and additional downloaded software) as well as a video player (also requiring additional software). And when I got it almost 3 years ago it cost $250. Now they have newer, better models out and SD cards offer 40x the storage for the same price as they did 3 years ago. Consider a PDA instead of just an MP3 player, unless you absolutely want to specialize in music playing. My wife recently bought an MP3 player with an expansion slot in it. She doesn't need a 30GB hard disk to store music on, and the SD memory will be less expensive to buy once she does need the space.
  9. This just in... "Yankees win the World Series." "Another Disney movie slated to end 'Happily Ever After'." "The Simpsons producers have agreed to go for another season." "Bush refuses to pull troops from Iraq." "Honda resale values are the highest in the industry." "Chevy makes trucks." So... Why am I not surprised?

    In Bloom

I used to be a Nirvana fan. In some awkward way, they were my gateway drug to rock music. I like most of the Nevermind album, but in particular, my favorite Nirvana song is Heart Shaped Box from In Utero.
  11. The commercial on page 2 is pretty funny.
  12. They should really extend the controls back further from the center console, as it must be really annoying to reach for them at that distance.
  13. Why not build a Lambda variant with sliding rear doors? Wouldn't that qualify as a "minivan"?
  14. Glad to hear it. Will it also come with Stabilitrak?
  15. The grille blends between a Yaris and a Camry. Aside from that I could have sworn I was looking at a Camry in Dodgefan's post (and thus I thought Dodgefan was cracking a joke about its similarity to the Camry).
  16. According to another pic I've seen, the "extra plastic" is actually a very fine mesh. Haven't seen one in person, though.
  17. You mean too good for $200? Are you trying to suggest that it might be hot?
  18. A baseball.
  19. One of the launch titles for the Sega Dreamcast, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing (awesome game by the way), had an old timey character named "Big" Willie Johnson. When they announced him in the ring, he would say "Let me show you something!" They took him out when they released the N64 version.
  20. Ace Ventura
  21. I'm sure the concept will catch on. But that fob looks really bulky.
  22. That last pic looks like a unicycle with handlebars. Now that would be funny. "What if the guy in the front locks his brakes up?" It's the same guy as all the people behind him.
  23. It's $200. Buy it. At worst you won't like it and end up junking it.
  24. Crown Vic Edit: Blast! Beat to the punch! Chevy Caprice
  25. Batmobile
