A ban on aftermarket parts, great.

Another incredible piece of legislation by people that have never built anything in their entire lives that tells the people that do how to do it with absolutely zero basis in reality.

I'm telling you, whatever we pay our politicians isn't nearly enough! This is amazing!

Technically yes, but I pump my own fuel every single time. It's not enforced- it's more the action/inaction of the individual station.

From a quick google search, apparently they can fine you $500 for pumping your own. Both laws state that it's for safety, but it's actually to artificially preserve jobs. Maybe this is a great idea - we can prevent people from doing lots of things themselves so that it creates jobs. Like, you can't take your own trash out to the can, you have to have people tromp through your house & dirty up your carpet to take out your trash, akin to the things that those gas station attendants sometimes do to your car - dribble gas all over your paint, etc. After all, it's not like the gas station attendant jobs are being handed to the best & brightest...

So what, are we supposed to "create jobs" via the Orange County model of economics?

:mind-blowing: This is way sad, The ultimate Granola, Tree Huggin state,

They do have an awesome Pino Wine region, but this is just stupid. They tax everyone with a stupid income tax, they cannot seem to maintain roads and they are cutting services and school employees due to low incoming dollars to pay for their social agenda that does not work.

This does not help anything. This is about as bright as California and their stupid you cannot change anything from OEM spec. Ever heard about putting in a more fuel efficient engine than that old V8 in that 1969 fastback Mustange. Then my state Washington had to follow California about crap and thank goodness they have not done the stupid stuff of Oregon. This law needs to be beatin down and not allowed to pass. Talk about the thousands of jobs it will cost as companies go out of business.

About as stupid as they insisting on pumping gas and not bothering about if they scratch your auto or not or spill gas on it. A stupid state with a bunch of stupid people.

Yup once again give the government more control, republicans or democrats they all want to do stupid stuff. Why would we want less consumer options and to hurt the aftermarket part industry in Orgegon, what a bunch of bastards, if there were a state to try this why doesn't this suprise me it happend in Orgeon? :unitedstates:
