1970 Oldsmobile 442 W30 Sport Coupe (Post)

442 W30 Post, 4 speed, 2 owner. 1 of 142 built. 26,000 original miles, believed to be original paint, original interior – bucket seats, console delete, tach & gauges- Dealer paperwork, numbers matching motor & transmission.

They are only original once!! 1 of 142 built!!

This car in in ‘as found’ condition.

I don't usually like reds, but that is spectacular! I could do without all the strap-ons, however.

very nice, ....but those extra gauges weren't oem spec, right? not needed...

nah, just aftermarket junk added...

OEM guages tend to be junk - so having good ones isn't a bad thing.

Aftermarket add-ons ruin the stock original aesthetic, though.

I've been hard on cars on occasion, yep. :D

Point being tho; you have a big bucks invested in the engine, sometimes you aren't as comfortable relying on original OEM gauges to monitor it.

My B-59 won't be factory original/correct inside, but it'll definitely be strongly period, with the exception of a few quality gauges to watch the percolator underhood.

I could quickly spend over $12K for the engine I want in my car.
