That '59 Eldo looks customized..chopped windshield, shortened doors (4dr converted to a convertible)? That blue w/ white stripes race car...#5...kind of looks like a Devin, but not sure.

Yeah, I believe it is a Devin.

So much to comment on in this thread - I don't know where to begin...

Interesting..never seen a blue Cameo..thought they were all white & red. That Studebaker truck is neat.

1955 - One two-tone color combination was available: Bombay Ivory/Cardinal Red

1956 - Eight two-tone color combinations were available:

  • Cardinal Red/Bombay Ivory
  • Cardinal Red/Sand Beige
  • Golden Yellow/Jet Black
  • Cardinal Red/Arabian Ivory
  • Regal Blue/Arabian Ivory
  • Granite Gray/Arabian Ivory
  • Ocean Green/Arabian Ivory
  • Crystal Blue/Arabian Ivory

1957 - Nine two-tone color combinations were available:

  • Cardinal Red/Bombay Ivory
  • Bombay Ivory/Cardinal Red
  • Bombay Ivory/Sand Beige
  • Bombay Ivory/Indian Turquoise
  • Jet Black/Golden Yellow
  • Bombay Ivory/Granite Gray
  • Bombay Ivory/Ocean Green
  • Bombay ivory/Alpine Blue
  • Bombay Ivory/Sandstone Beige

1958 - Nine two-tone color combinations were available:

  • Cardinal Red/Bombay Ivory
  • Bombay Ivory/Cardinal Red
  • Bombay Ivory/Oriental Green
  • Bombay Ivory/Granite Gray
  • Kodiak Brown/Bombay Ivory
  • Golden Yellow/Jet Black
  • Jet Black/Tartan Turquoise
  • Glade Green/Polar Green
  • Marine Blue/Dawn Blue
  • Dawn Blue/Marine Blue

*The first Cameo pictured is a 1955 model while the other three are '56 models (id'ed by the side fender emblem and the new hood ornament for '56, in addition to being offered in the Regal Blue/Arabian Ivory color combo). Another interesting fact is that the '55 Cameo used the '55 Bel-Air wheelcovers while the '56-'58 Cameos used the regular but chromed 1/2 ton truck hubcaps with or without trim rings (some owners, like the two middle '56s pictured, added the '56 Bel-Air wheelcovers).

The Jet black/Tartan Turquoise truck scheme is sharp...I've seen it.

God I wish I could own one of these trucks....

Jet Black/Tartan Torquoise definitely stands out for me, too. I'd love to see one that color.

EDIT: wait... which color is predominant? I'd rather see black as dominant and torquoise as secondary...

The first color, in this case Jet Black, is the main color and the second color, in this case Tartan Torquoise, is the color that wraps around the rear window, inside of the bed, and on the side of the bed in the '57 & '58 only chrome trim. That color combo is a '58 only choice. If someone cares to, they can photoshop Turquoise on this one and you'll have an idea of what it would look like:

My personal preference for '57 is this combo:

My 57 Chevy was Turquoise...I miss cars with color...it's boring watching a bunch of silver and gery cars go by on the highway....

Keep those truck pics coming, GMCTG!

My friend Richard co drove My Miata at our last race, and he races an E36 M3. I think I'm going to get a chance to race his car at some point.

I'll let you know what it's like!

The Efigy is one of the most beautiful designs ever built.

As usual...you would be very correct sir!
