My dealer has 2 '19 Silverados in- guy told me they aren't advertising them because they want to move the '18s out. Walked around a white crew cab/short bed ($54K), I've been needing to see the front end in 3-D vs. the pics. I think it looks better in person, slightly, than in 2-D. Man; I really like 'em. Now I really want one. - - - - - In other related sighting news : my wife's '09 Malibu is on the way out the door / put a deposit on a '16 Malibu.2 points

ACTUALLY.. this is not correct. I have actually talked to a client who works over at GM's plant over in White Marsh who told me that the engine is already being shown to have variants that are in the 700HP range. Strong possibility that due to the CT6 being essentially the 7series of Cadillac, and the CTS(5) being the 5Series of Cadillac.. that the formula will stand as the Mid-Sizer continuing to be the true large performance option while the larger vehicle (CT6) while powerful, will get a tuned down engine more geared for bragging rights within luxury. Furthermore... Cadillac bench-marked the S63 AMG's performance.. and despite.. chose not to go above it in HP (603) /Torque.. simply because it doesn't have to. The S-Class's FAT ASS is heavy.. about 700lbs heavier than the CT6 AWD Platinum. Similar thing can be said about the heavy 760i and B7 Alpina.. both boasting 600 HP but less torque than the BlackWing anyway... I am 100% behind this name change.. and in fact questioned WHY they were calling the 550HP/627lb Torque version a Vsport while still having a 500HP version under it.. and a 400HP 3.0L.. and a probable 2.0L or 3.6L under those.. in the first place. With that much torque.. and that much power.. PLUS AWD.. and a curb weight that is 55lbs less (CT6 3.0L vs CTS-V) than the my ’16 Vseries.. I am completely confident that this car will actually beat me in a drag race.. despite the loss of HP/Torque simply because of grip. I don’t know if U’ve ever tried to launch a 640HP VSeries and not spin a little bit, but its not easily done… same goes for my Z06 with the same RWD/LT4 setup. AWD system adds the needed traction that has enabled the German cars in this class to post lower acceleration numbers lately. With Track or Sport mode allowing for 40/60 front/rear in Tour mode to 20/80 in Sport and 50/50 in Snow/Ice. My assumption is that there will be a Track mode in for the Vseries… as the numbers I posted are from the current CT6 AWD system available. CT6V = 550HP CT6 Platinum Should be 500HP CT6 VSport should be 400+HP CT6-E Hybrid CT6 everything below2 points

It was never a bad car... just unfortunate styling. It is the absolute king of value for Uber drivers since it qualifies for Uber X, Uber XL, and Uber Black.2 points

Also, please tell me why you continue to demonstrate this extreme ignorance of the Asian market even though you have been taught why this is the case. There is a huge HUGE social stigma in China against buying Japanese products. The Chinese are holding a grudge.2 points

Come 2019, Infiniti will not have any hybrid vehicles available for sale. Green Car Reports has learned from Infiniti spokesman Kyle Bazemore that the Q50 Hybrid model will be axed from the lineup come the 2019 model year. This follows an announcement of the Q70 hybrid being dropped earlier this summer. No reason was given as to why both hybrid models have been dropped, but Green Car Reports speculates the slow sales is the explanation. With the departure of the QX60 Hybrid last year, this leaves Infiniti with no hybrid models. But that doesn't mean Infiniti isn't getting out of the electrification game for good. As we reported back in January, Infiniti will begin offering full electric powertrains and plug-in hybrid models beginning in 2021. Source: Green Car Reports View full article1 point

Given Japan's occupation of China (and other wartime atrocities), Chinese customers are right to be wary of buying anything Japanese. Indeed, I wonder why Toyota and Honda and Nissan sell any cars in China in the first place. As for the Genesis G70, that car (along with the Kia Stinger) are simply the second-generation Hyundai Genesis coupe (with more and better features). Badge snobs will always buy German because they wish to impress their friends (and some of them like German cars). But the notion that German cars are perfect and all others tremble is simply not true at all. If that were true, then why do Lexus and Infiniti exist at all? Why has Cadillac survived from its cratering of 20-30 years ago to its current rise up the respect and sales charts? If German cars were so perfect and completely dominated luxury sales, then why do Lincoln (barely) and Acura hang on for dear life? Multiple luxury marques would be as dead as Oldsmobile if that were true.1 point

Re-set the motor/trans in the car, then bolted a cylinder head on. Yep- it's gonna be a problem. Could not get the header close to lining up- hitting the steering box. With the header being an amorphous, twisty thing- in order to better judge where the interference was, I instead removed the steering box in order to bolt the header on. Wen I tried to slip the 'box back up against the frame rail, the bolt holes were about 2-in south of the holes in the frame- the 'box hit the headers in 2 places- those 12 o'clock curves in the foreground header. Only viable course of action is to cut the collector off about an inch into the pipes there, cut the pipes at the upper flange, somehow rig the collector about a foot farther under the car and re-flow all 4 pipes to the collector around the mounted steering box. A bunch of time, but no other way around it. Not going to completely revamp the steering system now. Had no issues fabbing the exhaust for the COE; same practice :1 point

I want to HAHA, Upvote, and Thanks for this one.... On that lightning lap, the pedestrian Accord 2.0T nothing special about it wasn't even that far behind the RS31 point

Horsepower doesn't equal being fast either.1 point

No one, particularly not the Chinese, care about 500hp in terms of sales. They make such a tiny segment of the sales chart. Someone leasing a 201hp CLA isn't doing it just because there is some 500hp E-class being built for almost no one to buy. Also... Mercedes doesn't have 25 models total... they have 14 at best, not counting their vans. They don't get to quadruple count cars just because it comes in a couple of different door counts. Not counting vans, the only way you get to 25 is by counting cars like the C-Class and E-Class 4 times. C-Class, C-Class Hybrid, C-Class Coupe, C-Class Cabrio. E-Class Sedan, E-Class Wagon, E-Class Coupe, E-Class Cabrio Doing that, I count a total of 27 vehicles at MB USA (again, not counting the vans), but that is cheating. Without double/triple/quadruple counting, it's 14 models total. MB isn't alone in this kind of cheating... BMW likes to count every variant as a "model". No, the 320i, 335i, 340i, M3, and 435i and grand turisimo and wagon and convertible and blah blah blah are not umpteen different models.... It's the 3 series. Done.1 point

Also dump the wasteful unprofitable Alfa that has stolen the billions from the US name plates. Alfa back to the history books along with adding Fiat!1 point

I would dump fiat, that's the obvious choice.1 point
