  1. The iPhone led the industry in NOT having removable phones. Many Android models have since followed suit, especially in the last five years. Holding down the power button until it allows you to switch it off or turns off by itself is the best way to deal with a stuck phone these days.

  2. There can't be many phones left w/ removable battery..can't recall when I've had a phone w/ one..maybe 10 years ago.

  4. And if the answer is 'CT6' over '740i' - does that tell you how badly BMW botched that?

  5. CT5. I've driven a Stinger. I don't need to drive an Alpha based CT5 to know the Cadillac will drive and ride better than the Stinger.

  6. Most of the higher end phones we've been recommending done have removable batteries. You can just press and hold the power button to power off the phone, same as a battery pull.

  7. A guy down the street and around the corner has a very sharp red GTO that I see pretty often. And there is a gray G8 GXP a couple streets over.

  8. I honestly cannot remember the last time I saw a G8 or GTO, but then cars are not very popular here compared to trucks, SUV and CUVs.

  10. My Note 8 does not have that option anymore for removable, but then I have not ever had a freeze issue on it either so no need to do that and I now make a habit of rebooting it once a week to have it boot up clean.

  13. I am really interested in the new Nav system and how it responds, review comparisons to the German and Asians. Should be interesting along with the thoughts on the interior room and material quality. They should have made the CT5 a true 4 door sedan and then shocked everyone by showing off a true coupe like this. Or at least if not using that cool name called it an Eldorado.

  18. Last week: helped a buddy replace the shocks, struts & stabilizer links on his 115K mile '02 Infiniti QX4. That's really wasn't much fun. Why nissan felt it a good idea to mount rigidly-connected stuff over the top strut bolts was beyond me. Already rebuilt the structure under the running boards about 3 years ago. Today : went to a small local junkyard I first went to 25 years ago- found some of the parking brake hardware I need for the rear of the B-59 (MoPar 11-in drums, we'll see if the pieces I got out of a '99 Town & Country are the same). There's only 2 sources for these pieces new, and the one is $125 for (4) stamped pieces of steel & some misc hardware. Today's cost? $5.

  22. Another spotting of sorts...for Easter Brunch we took Uber, and the driver going downtown was driving a silver Saab 9-5 Sportcombi. It was in really clean condition for something 10+ years old. Felt smooth on the freeway and over potholed Cleveland streets from the backseat...driver coming back had a Pacifica w/ the power sliding doors.. nice inside.

  24. I don’t think you understand the definition of the word “troll”. Also, I don’t give a damn what the order guide says. Most customers don’t go there and don’t even know about them unless they deal with fleet sales. When you go to Chevrolet.com to build one (or just research it), you will find not ONE mention of it as being a CUV. No salesman has ever sold the Bolt as a CUV and no one has ever confused as a CUV especially with just one glance at the window sticker on the lot that says “wagon”. You are trying to use a weak argument of semantics because you have nothing else. Fact is that if the Bolt tech had gone into an Equinox (for example), sales would have been higher. Everyone else but you sees that. Maybe it’s just denial or your simple hate of everything EV but it doesn’t change those facts. And you have the nerve to call anyone else here a “troll”. LMAO!
