  1. Just got my wife MDX Sport Hybrid. It is faster and better driving than regular MDX while having much better fuel economy (at least on paper, will see about that). 0-60 under 6 seconds (according to C&D 5.7sec) is not bad for a three row family crossover.
  2. Had to get something to replace the Malibu lease end?
  3. I can't imagine there being anyone actually caring enough to do that..it's just a lease appliance. And 10 hp/19 ft-lbs isn't that much of a difference.
  4. Probably because the related Infiniti QX80 gets the 400hp V8. Keep a little exclusivity for the premium brand..
  5. Ford Kwality may not be job 1 these days, but in terms of interior styling, Lincoln has hit it so far out of the park, Cadillac can't even see the ball anymore.
  6. Prius is a total POS! I never said all hybrids are bad driving cars, the ELR and the Volt, both of which I've driven, were and are great handling cars and I think the EREV Voltec platform was a very good one and we'll see a second gen. for sure. I drove the CT6 Plug-In as well and it's pretty quick and great handling. I do like the instant torque you get off the line with electric motors, pretty cool experience, except for the Prius, just the name makes one wince

The pack is doing well... Zo is doing fine, he is on 4 different medications daily for an enlarged heart and spleen issue. But eating well and lots of energy for a 13 yr old. Here's a recent pic of the pack exiled to the back patio while I was cleaning the living room...
  8. Congrats on the purchase! I really wanted one of these instead of my CTS but it was right around they were coming out and dealer inventories were still pretty low so no deals to be had. They weren't even offering GM employee discount! It was easy to predict that in a matter of months there would be great deals out there on them but I got antsy and went with the CTS instead of waiting. While I like my CTS a lot, I think I probably would have liked one of these even more. It certainly would have been much better in the snow.
  9. You don't want to know! Ha! It's a Toyota so you know they have barrels out back for you for a reason...can't say it on here have to keep it PG or Drew gets testy ?
  10. The engine, transmission and rear differential along with the integrated cooling system is pure Corvette. at almost 30K miles a leak developed in the cooling system that took out the hand build trans and messed up the rear diff. Lucky warranty covered it, but the Chevrolet paper work once done stated the hand built parts from the corvette factory. I still have it in my file for the auto. Very cool in that regards. Bullet proof since for the last 115,000 plus miles.
  11. well... the engine might be corvette but the rest of the car is not based on Corvette I think he is implying.
  12. Yup welcome to my world View! At least in the pacific northwest, you find plenty of better Excursion Diesels, but rarely a V10. So yes at least in the PNW they are very rare even in truck form they are rare for Ford. Ram on the other hand has V10 everywhere.
  13. Nice, too bad it has a FART can applied to it.

Nope never gonna happen. Dogs especially but I have heard this with cats also all my life they are children to those that choose to NOT have human children and even in families with human children, you have you animal children. IMHO, Dogs are the best Children families can have as they love ya no matter what in all stages of life.
  15. Not too shabby looking. I think you'd get more out of a tune than 10hp/19tq anyway.
  16. Spotted this just a few blocks from my house. Rare to find them in good condition these days. They tended to eat timing belts.
  17. I've driven these. I can't imagine anyone is going to miss the 10 horsepower.
  18. Makes sense, so then if the charge is not crazy, a Nissan Armada owner could buy the updated flash and bring their Armada to a QX80 level of performance. I like that, sleeper level.
  19. I have heard that many a Prius has touched people bottoms!
  20. Wish I could fit into a Corvette to drive one as I would love too. Have to settle for my Corvette based Trailblazer SS AWD which has had many spirited triple digits drives!

@Robert Hall Awesome to hear Robert, thank you for the update. Dogs are amazing children.
  22. Plug-in hybrids are 100% the best way to go.
  23. Because Lincoln is killing the interior department the last few things that have been released.
  24. Imagine having to drive a Prius everyday.....
  25. Cadillac needs to look at what Lincoln is doing for interiors and try and come up with their own formula that doesn't copy them, but puts a Cadillac spin on the idea.
  26. What a "duh" headline. Of course this was going to be used in other models. Benz is not dumb enough to develop this only for transverse applications. It will probably even be more powerful in north-south form.
  27. Imagine being so insecure that your manliness is judged by what's under the hood of your Wrangler.....
  28. Like ford, jeep is another one you don't buy the first year of.
  29. The Cadillac needs more wood.... or am I just being old-fashioned?
  30. That is not going to save Fiat.
  31. I think it’s worth throwing a question out there if people think heated seats, remote start and dual zone climate control ought to be standard in a Buick. I think too that Buick’s by now might benefit from the blind spot monitor and adaptive cruise being standard as well too.
  32. Got to check out and sit in this bad boy C8 last month at a Chevrolet dealer reveal day here in Scottsdale, AZ. GM is touring the country with 3 or 4 or them. Very cool presentation. Beautiful and solid build inside and out. GM really knocked it out of the park with this car, amazing engineering feat. U.S.A!!
  33. One @balthazar especially will like.
  34. Never used Adaptive until 28k? Ha! Daily...everyday...use it. Love it. And the Pacifica and Pentastar 3.6L...smooth, creamy, powerful efficiency... Electronics, safety features, infotainment, etc. are so much better integrated in FCA vehicles vs. GM. Blind spot that's useful, visible and audible, great gauges, UConnect...

Can’t wait for the fad of calling animals ‘children’ to be done with.
