  1. List of Mercedes models with positive gains for the year: SLC AMG-GT GLC G-Class Vans List of Mercedes models with negative gains: Lets just say it's a much longer list. But yeah, Mercedes is doing AWESOME! The Best or Nothing!

  3. Month-vs-month is pretty much meaningless; let's see where everybody ends up by year-end.

  4. For those that like Big Machinery, Seattle has open their new Under ground Alaska way freeway that replaced our Viaduct. This movie was assembled by the WSDOT and shows in speeded mode the removal of the Viaduct and reconnecting the city with the waterfront. You will see the Dell Technology building I work in at 4:55 in the video. This is the South end removal of the Viaduct that is only inches away from buildings.

  6. Good thing you explained that. It seems like Mercedes is the only with older models on the way out, model changeovers, or any other number of excuses you have given Mercedes whenever things are less than stellar for them. And if all people want are more SUVs, why are Mercedes SUVs showing a decline (save for the G Class)?

  7. Agree with you on the Plane comments. The Viaduct is gone, that portion is all done, the Tunnel is only 2 lanes in both directions as there is no Mid City exits like the Viaduct had, so reduced traffic and yet from my office window you can see it is slow craw through the tunnel. They should have built two tunnels with 3 lanes in each direction and 1 for HOV. But politicians are stupid and do not think that far in the future or future planning based on a city's growth, so while no payment has been made yet, it is already needing to be replaced with a bigger road. ? Where the Viaduct used to stand will now be parking for some areas, park area for others and this will be done over the next 1 1/2 years as they also remodel and update the waterfront.

  8. -0.5% on the year, not bad considering there are a lot doing much worse.

  9. I did just that. I was surprised to see that both the Spark and the Sonic continue. I thought only one would continue because the sizes and price points are so close together. IIRC, these are not built in the U.S. I did a little bit of build and price. If you get the base LS model on both of these cars, you get MANUAL windows. Huzzah! These cars share parts. The IP instrument cluster is virtually identical in both. The Spark comes with a CVT automatic while the Sonic gets a geared automatic transmission. You can't knock manual windows!

  10. GLE and GLS could finish up for the year, they were hurt by model changeover and no inventory. Look at the GLE now with full inventory. GLS and CLA are just hitting dealers now. Sedans are down every where, 3,00 E-class is great when Lexus sold 350 GS’s. And Mercedes has EQ C, EQ B, GLB and Maybach SUV next year since all people want are more SUVs.

  11. Trolling extra hard on the sales threads ain't we? Yeah, completely fair comparison being that the RLX is a AWD or AWD hybrid only model. Oh and we will skip the part about the E Class sales being down from this time last year.

  13. Do they still make the Passat? What happened there? They need the T-Roc here to replace the Beetle for a small product below the Tiguan. VW basically has a 2 SUV lineup when Hyundai/Kia are up to 6-7.

  15. Glad to see that VW sales in SUV category is going up while cars sales are tanking. At least something is working for them after Dieselgate.

  16. I am honestly surprised that they are down that much for the month, but still on a positive growth for the year. For some reason thought they would have done better.

  19. www.chevrolet.com. Have to click on each model, some have 2019 only (like the discontinued Impala), some have 2019 and 2020 (Malibu).
