  1. I actually don't mind either, but it really depends on the car. I wouldn't want a manual in a CT6 and I wouldn't want an automatic in a Miata.
  2. Plug-Ins like the Aviator are the happy medium I think.
  3. The C-class is not $10k better. Spend $41k at Benz and you're getting plastic seats and a rather pathetic 4-cylinder with RWD. Spend that at Cadillac and you're getting a well equipped car with a 2.7 liter that has a lot more power.
  4. Overpriced the base model? What do you think of the A Class then? The V does seem like less of a bargain but then again the C43 starts at 55k so it is still significantly cheaper than that. Hell, an A45 is 53k. I know that's one hell of a car(A45) but that's one hell of an asking price as well.
  5. You'd think that would be the case, but look at this beast. Wouldn't even know it's 2WD or a gutless 2.5L being a Z71 Midnight Edition with leather and meaty tires. They do come with 4:10's at least. Still ridiculous they could even order it with all of that with that NA 4 banger. https://www.chevrolet.com/locate-inventory/previous-year/colorado/details?x-symbolic=vdp&x-carline=colorado&x-modelyear=2019&q-sourcepath=/vdccollections/2019/trucks/colorado/colorado/jcr:content/vdcVehicleInfoBlockConfig/vdcShoppingLinks#?radius=250&models=Colorado&years=2019&makes=Chevrolet&postalcode=85001&requestedPostalcode=85001&open-panel=Powertrain&open-panel=Hours&engineCodes=LCV&scrollposition=680&vin=1GCGSDEA5K1168683&filtermatched=exactmatch&bac=178568&pagenumber=1&sortby=bestMatch:desc,distance:asc&dealerSearchBy=postalCode&dlsearchlocation=1150+N+54TH+ST+CHANDLER+AZ+852261032&primarydealerdistance=10.6&longitude=-111.9691114&latitude=33.3225909&primarydealerid=178568&primarydealerpostalcode=85226&[email protected]&primarydealername=FREEWAY CHEVROLET&primarydealerphone=4807531234
  6. I'm a huge fan of the plug-in hybrid design/concept.
  7. I don't mind hybrids done right.... like the Lincoln Aviator. It's really hard to argue with the amount of power that thing puts out and yet still can run in all electric mode up to some speed. But it is also designed to be an isolation machine, taking away as much noise and outside harshness as possible.
  8. The 2.7T does seem like a natural fit for the Colorado though... especially with the Ranger running a 2.3T
  9. Lincoln has more of it's own say in the content of their vehicles, but no, they won't be a separated company from Ford and will still use Ford platforms.
  10. Yup, one of these passionate Italian jobs:
  11. It basically comes down to the lack of free thought. There are many sheep out there! I have no issue or bone to pick with EV, actually, I welcome them as another cool choice. But I still want choice, want my ICE, and my classics. I saw a 1985 Cavalier RS Vert yesterday, and thought it’s old boxy shape stood nicely in a sea of boring. Makes me want to hunt my first car down and drive around in another 1st gen Cav again. ? Still love my classics, but the first gen Cav will always have a place in my heart. And even though she still sound better than the drone of an EV......
  12. GODZILLA vs GODZILLA
  13. I drove the Aviator and Explorer back to back last week (reviews to come)…. and aside from dimensions they have very very different personalities.
  14. The C8 is supposed to be SuperCruise capable.
  15. On a more positive note...
  16. ^ People think too much and assume too much. When prices in general on classics take a marked downturn, only then, perhaps, is future interest waning. My eyes were opened w my recent posting that ‘57 Chevys have sold as high as $380K; that could drop by 50% and the segment would still be totally secure. ’Petrol’ isn't going away because; plastics. #1. I don’t get the ‘doom & gloomers’ continually predicting a tremendous & imminent overturn to electrics. Do they not, ever, look at sales data?? No way in hell was that a current shot of London swirling in pollution. Mist; I could believe. How ridiculous- am I still supposed to take the video seriously with that falsehood in there?
  17. Except free market economics, they are selling them at 33k new, no price on car love...lots of people dump far more cash into cars than they are worth. I love this body style Ford, This is the exact car I wanted as a kid...thanks for posting this up, seriously made my day. One more way to have OCN walk around with a woodie...wood be perfect for him... Thoughts on above video...?
