  1. Love. This. Car. Still one of my favorite rentals, and put 5,900 miles on a 2017 Challenger R/T Hemi base with no options...LOVED it. Comfy. Solid. Hemi. Perfect 8 speed. Useful daily, without being a slot car. And, oddly enough, the best gas mileage recorded in any rental, 29.6 mpg from western PA back to Philly...back in 2017. Great car. Had another recently, in July, an AWD 3.6L...and loved it too. Sharp, quick, smooth, felt powerful, moreso than a RWD V6 I had before. Always a fave. Oldie but a goodie...

  3. Those blues from the 1990s were awesome colours. And the darker blue for the M635csi. Something about the E46 that I hate. Probably my douchebag Greek friends more than anything else. I never liked the 7 Series. Always hated them. Iused to like the Bangle Butt one. For awhile. Now I hate that one too. The 8 Series? Im on the fence with that one. I have always been on the fence with that one. The V12 is something that I liked about it. The pop-up lights of course is always a winner in my books. But...I guess its because its a BMW that I never really took to it. The E39 and the E36 are hard NOT to like. Even for a hater like me. LOL The E39 is the perferct midsized car for the modern times. The E39 M5 is just THE perfect car in modern times. Hard not to like that. I love that V8 engine in it. But GM gave us a version that tops it in my books. The Chevy SS with a V8 that spoeaks to me. The E39 M5 is not a muscle car, but a European sports sedan. The Chevy SS and the Pontiac G8 GXP is that muscle car that I wanted the E39 M5 to be. The Charger is nice and all...but its missing something. Its missing what the Challenger has in spades. So we good with that.

  4. In all fairness, it was only tainted with a certain type of snowflake, tree huggin', pot smokin', hippie millennial crowd that started the pious (Prius) movement not realizing, because they were and still are brain dead, to see that Toyoter had MORE gas guzzling SUVs and CUVs in their stable than General Motors had...even with the Hummer brand... BMW, Mercedes, Porsche all whored themselves out with SUVs at this time too, but 'twas GM and Hummer that took the fall with these hypocritical, virtuous asshats... Hummer was actually loved by enthusiasts. Truck guys and gals along with sports car guys and gals. I think Hummer would do great today with gasoline engines!!! I do not know how marketing will solve the electric issue with Hummer... Marketing better be good...

  7. Strictly opposed to going with the "no-brainer" idea of using 'Electra' for an EV... ... I have zero issue with using the equally 'no-brainer' name of Hummer for an EV.

  8. I almost always go to when my light comes on which the car reads ~50 miles till empty. I don't feel the need to fill up earlier unless I foresee terrible weather or a road trip in the near future.

  9. With a 15-gal 'cushion' in my tank, I run it down til the 'low fuel' light blazes for a day, then I fill it to the brim, every time. Amounts to around $55 every week & a half.

  11. Pierre Trudeau V Richard Nixon When the Prime Minister of Canada, Pierre Trudeau heard that President Richard Nixon had called him an "asshole", Trudeau responded, "I've been called worse things by better people" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- and then there is this: https://www.thestar.com/news/world/2008/12/08/nixon_tapes_include_testy_trudeau_chat.html Ah yes....Nixon...

  12. • I forget about DEF; I have a pre-DEF Duramax. I agree that the difference would be minor, numbers-wise. • I used $3/gal of diesel in my example but I've been paying roughly between 2.75 and 2.90 for I think at least a year (would have to check my log). Gasbuddy says my regular-use station is 2.59 for regular (credit) and 2.93 for diesel today. But I was comparing a 3.0L DM to my 6.6L DM, not against gas. Right now, I'm building my case to replace my truck, and am intrigued at the 3.0L. I do like the longevity of a diesel. ? Kinda seems counter-productive to replace my truck with one that gets the same MPG if there are other options, but your point numbers-wise is totally valid. ?

  13. Terriers are often that way... my pack follows me around the house like an entourage, can't go to the bathroom or watch TV without them being close.

  14. Dad traded his old Impala for a brand new 2020 Equinox 2LT AWD (which means it's a 2.0t). Very happy for him, he deserves it.

  15. Well, the H2 was hideous looking with a nasty $5 rubbermaid interior.... .so it's a brand known for garbage...the H3 was the same crap in a smaller form factor. Not some of GM's better efforts, best forgotten. Also the owners of them had kind of a douchey image.
