  1. @Robert Hall I had that blue on, not one, but two Cutlass Supremes and it's a great color! That green works on sporty cars. - - - - - I could talk about the first-gen Chrysler 300 I saw in a supermarket parking lot yesterday, but I was more amused by, how right outside its passenger doors, someone really WIGGED OUT!

  2. The difference I see is this is a Nissan, just an appliance. Cadillac is supposed to be a luxury marque, no place on a luxury car for such nonsense, esp. as poorly executed as the trim on the CT5 is.

  3. After randomly hearing this over the airwaves now and then, I added it to the collection on my phone. Arguably the Monkees' best hit since it has stood the test of time!

  4. How/why CUVs have risen in popularity vs. cars; this is no longer possible:

  5. It's in my music and I was listening to it as I drove home tonight. While she kept on making great music, the peak of Tina Turner's solo career came early, IMO, in this song ... amazing to drive to on the open road in the middle of nowhere on a gloomy, overcast, still day: Longer version with great instrumental solos interspersed and, of course, her incredible voice at its best, during the 1980s. This lady is an electrifying musical artist.

  8. Entertaining slide show of cars that could have been, but never were. Thank God some never were! https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/autos/interesting-cars-canceled-before-reaching-the-showroom/ss-BB16xJoj?li=BBnb7Kz&fullscreen=true#image=13

  9. "Airstream" with a truck?! Talk about an oxymoron. As you know sales speak volumes and GM truck sales were up in pretty solid numbers before the Covid crash and they were still down far less in Q2 than all the other full-size truck manufacturers. Q1 2020 Silverado sales up 27%. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/04/chevrolet-silverado-sales-numbers-figures-results-fourth-quarter-q1-2020/ Q2 2020 Chevrolet and GMC truck sales are still down less (even combined) than each Ford and Ram. https://www.goodcarbadcar.net/2020-us-pickup-truck-sales-figures-by-model/ Lordstown Motors will most likely run out of money before they even get started with sales anyway.

  10. The problem with those stats is they look at everything going to oil, and compare it to everything going to wind & solar. Wind & Solar provide 1 end product : energy. Oil provides 6000+ end products. To make an accurate comparison, you have to look at the portion of oil that goes only to energy. Those are vastly different numbers.

  13. I dig them, along with the rest of the vehicle. This is the first Nissan in quite awhile that I find interesting - in the good way.

  14. The retro colors were Legend Lime and Windveil Blue. They reminded me of '67-68 colors.

  15. Lordstown looks like a worn pencil eraser up front, and the random body ‘stripes’ have to go. It’s out of step with what the segment goes for. No; for sure it’s fairly hideous, even vs. the polarizing Silverado, plus it’s too expensive- it starts about $25K higher than the class leaders. Kinda sad they couldn’t do a little more there to differentiate.

  16. Front end is way Better than the current butt ugly Chevrolet trucks out now. GMC is better looking than Chevrolet. This is far better airstream than Chevrolet is.

  17. Looks like some sort of hokey home built "custom" Silverado, you can see it in the cab and bed as well. I will bet you $20 this is a 2020 Silverado with a cheesy 90's Sci-Fi body kit and a Duracell where the 5.3 belongs. Look at the doors/roof, roof spoiler, door mirrors and interior a-pillar trim and grab handles... lifted directly. TOO FUNNY.
