I got back from Arby's drive-through with a sandwich and their twin pack of triangular potato cakes. The potato cakes seldom make it through the entire ride back home. I've yet to meet a potato I don't like.2 points

Missed the point by a country mile. We will skip the part where, duh, yes the CLA is lighter. That’s because it’s a smaller car and add to the fact that the Volvo is a hybrid. It does not change my point or statement whatsoever. The time you spend tearing down anything without that precious tri-Star on the hood is simply baffling.2 points

Went to the gas station and car wash today, first time I'd been to either in almost 6 months. Felt strange but almost 'normal'. Saw a dark blue C8 Corvette at the gas station, had a temporary tag and the black rear lower fascia was cracked out and taped in place.1 point

Think it has been a long while since I tried a date. Might have to run to Kroger and grab some! Also have to find more foods the wife can eat to help her with the IBS......1 point

Your FWD assertions are irrelevant since this an AWD only model. The Mercedes CLA 45 AMG doesn’t seems to face the same scrutiny despite its FWD roots though. I wonder why?1 point

Thank you. This is great. You also put up the flag of Ireland! It seems to like a "pushmepullyu" - about a wash. What's odd in the comparison chart is that lower in glycemic index and lower in sugars are given to one and the other, respectively. I thought those concepts were somewhat the same. I'll go with both as well. Almost all fish that can be filleted works for me. If you land on some good shark, it's delicious ... sort of like a drier swordfish if prepared right. In the realm of seafood, it's clams, mussels, and crab that I can't stand. It's cool that you don't like avocados or salmon. I can count how many glasses of beer I've had in my life on two hands. I get flack for that. It has never tasted good to me. I've had some decent alcoholic drinks in the realm of mixed drinks and wines, but am certainly no connoisseur. I'd rather be on the lookout for bargains in travel.1 point

Saw my first Corvette C8 today. Torch Red. All trims were black. The side vents, the rear spoiler, etc. It was the standard spoiler. The mags were the standard 5 open spoke wheels and they were black. The interior was red with all accents being black. The C8 out in about in red, with black accents with a red leather interior and black accents just pops. Awesome combo through and through. It most definitely got that exotic flair. Its a gorgeous car. I think if I was to buy one, Id go with that exact combo. For a Z06, I think I have to wait to see how Chevy will stylize it before I dream of colours for it, but boy-oh-boy the Stingray in Torch Red is hot hot hot. It was like this:1 point

Easy there snowflake. It’s called a joke. However, it’s amusing that you think it’s somehow okay to be a serial 30 year serial adulterer so long as he being faithful while he’s president (that you know of). And for the record, everyone with a brain knew that Bill was a horn dog but the GOP decided to spend $50 million (courtesy of the American taxpayer) to prove that he lied about getting a blowjob. I will say this. At least Bill and his dog wife had the balls to testify in person in front of Congress, unlike Mr. Written Answers only. Sorry but the truly best joke here is you for not getting the joke in the first damn place. “Sleepy Joe” You misspelled Trump there.1 point

The USDA Food Composition Database found at the U.S. Department of Agriculture has all the comparison details, I find this web site makes it more visually friendly. Go to the link below for even more comparison info on these two. They actually break it down into a complete mineral, vitamin, protein, carbohydrates and fats comparison charts. Excellent way to help guide eating changes to live healthier. At the bottom is a list of other comparable items to the Date and Avocado. https://foodstruct.com/compare/dates-degletnoor-vs-avocado You can go here and pretty much compare any food to see how healthy it is. I like that they use the comparison food color to show which section that food wins in. No matter what, like everything, in moderation is the way to go and Dates and Avocado's have plenty of positive reasons to eat if you like the taste, texture and visual. For me, Awfulcado's turn me off by visual some, mostly taste and texture. Not happy in my mouth. Dates on the other hand I love. So go figure. I am also not a big fruit lover either. Will enjoy Watermelon, pears and peaches, but not much else.1 point

Customer came in to pick up his 2.7L EB F-150 after a collision repair. First thing he said when he walked in the office: "Did you do a 5.0 Coyote swap for me?" Hearing more and more about how crappy these V6 EB engines are in F-Series trucks.1 point

A wagon is going to be a non-seller. I don't think $69k is a bad price for that level of performance and the fuel economy and electric range. I think if this was a little cheaper it would be more compelling, also if it was rear wheel drive based. On power they top the CT4/CT5-V and Genesis G70 and Acura TLX Type-S which is about $55k. I assume this is available in sedan version or will be, I think the current Volvos look good on the inside and out, but I'd question the performance of the front wheel drive chassis compared to all the rear drive cars in the $60-70k range. At $40k, it doesn't matter, you aren't getting big performance at that price. Question is he is how is handling and performance compared to the cheaper G70, because Volvo is pushing this as a performance car and nearing some AMG and M pricing.0 points
