  3. You never thought you would hear me say this again...but I see another Ford in my future! I like the two door Bronco more than the 4 door. Sadly, tons of saveable cars left to rot and die. I have seen all 3 in the wild during my wild youth. I lose the hummus battle on a near daily basis, and there is ice cream available at the University dining hall where I eat lunch. 3 months would be a huge improvement for me. Iris mist GTO. I love this car, I love this color. Or, similar car with dog dish caps. I really like this as a 2 door post car as well.

  4. I instantly tune out to all vehicles with an upward market adjustment. I think about how crazy it is to bring fancy, expensive sheetmetal that depreciates onto the open road and expose it to the elements, nature, and crazed or incompetent drivers. For people for whom money is no object or are compulsive with their buying behaviors, it's obvious that their mentality and my mentality are not in synch.

  5. I remember a suprisingly-clean 'Spirit' Impala coupe in the junkyard circa '90. Wasn't missing anything major, and when I saw the key in it after sliding inside, the motor cranked.

  6. ^^^ It turns out Chevrolet had 2 other "Spirit of America" trims. Nova and and Vega as well.

  7. My mother had a friend who had a T-bird with an interior pretty much like this and kept it for a really long time. I remember that the steering wheel tilted "away." My mother also had a friend who bought the very first Maverick ... a down-line model ... on the cheap. She was from Brooklyn, wore cat glasses, and was a chain smoker. Someone out of a sitcom from decades ago. We knew when we came home from school that she had visited, complained about her, and had to throw open all the windows in the house. Both FoMoCo when you think about it ... - - - - - My original random thought: Sadly, it's easy to lose the battle with a small tub of hummus or French onion dip that is deeply discounted and that you've purchased. I only do the hummus/dip or tub of ice cream thing about once every 3 months.

  11. While I was at my nearby Ford dealership, I saw these. Note the “market adjusted” price of the Shelby GT500. The Bronco was super sharp though (no price on it though) but damn those big a** tires lol!

  14. https://robbreport.com/motors/cars/tom-brady-2017-becker-cadillac-escalade-sale-2924155/ If you want to get behind the wheel of Brady’s 2017 stretched Becker Cadillac Escalade ESV, be prepared to splash out some serious cash. The future Hall of Famer’s SUV cost $350,000 when it was brand new, but it can be yours for $300,000 just three years later. https://www.motortrend.com/features/sylvester-stallone-becker-auto-design-cadillac-escalade-for-sale/ Tom Brady recently sold his Becker Auto Design Escalade ESV, which was outfitted slightly differently. We won't pit your celebrity affinities against one another, but it is worth pointing out that Stallone's Cadillac is being sold for $350,000, and the GOAT's was listed for $300,000. Apparently, Rocky's unit cost $409,000 when new; Brady's was just $350,000, and when sold it had 13,000 miles on the odometer. So, if you're looking for a specially outfitted previous-generation Cadillac Escalade to be chauffeured around in that happens to have some Sly magic, this is your chance.

  16. Especially in that growing segment of ultra luxury and ultra performance SUVs. I mean, only a few years ago there was only like the X5M, GLE63, G Wagen, Range Rover and Cayenne and now there are offerings from Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Tesla Model X, Jaguar, Maserati and Alfa Romeo. I only included 2-row SUVs because, well, the 3-row boats aren't in the performance category.

  17. That Semi has also been updated over the years and has similar cylinder deactivation tech as the GM. I should add that brand new tech inset always better for certain things. Example? That G-Wagen you love so much uses a brand new engine and powertrain but still gets $h! MPGs. Point being the MPGs don't mean much in this price bracket so just let go of the fake criticism just because we are not talking about a German SUV here. Which flies in the face of the "many people" part of his initial "assessment". Purely biased commentary by a known Benz fan. Nothing more, nothing less. And? That means they are doing the same damn thing as Benz when they slap AMG labels in everything. It's to boost sales. DUHHHH!

  18. Comparing the Uras and the G Wagen, they're both at the top of the food chain. As much as I don't like the looks of the Uras, they're pretty damn popular and I'd still love to drive one as they're probably damn fun to drive.

  19. Same. Just a sample of some my Dali love. If you are ever in St. Petersburg, FL then oyu have to visit the Dali museum there. It will absolutely blow your mid to see those master works up close. The Hallucinogenic Toreador is worth the price of admission alone. That piece is 7 by 13 feet alone. Ii

  21. For some reason, the 60's GTO's looked good with a center post/B pillar (68 Panther would kill me!) and slicks, vintage drag graphics, and a 4 speed.

  23. Id consider a Grand Wagoneer is if Chryco "redeyes" it. Or in Jeep's case, "Trackhawks" it. I think the world needs more of these engines on the road before the EV thing takes over.

  24. 4. Mercedes doesn't build it. 3. Countach was never killed off, only the name badge was. Car has remained in production. 2/1. This is the Lamborghini of USVs (and it looks 40 years more modern than a 'mercedes Jeep') ~

  27. Many would say the G-wagen is the best looking SUV on the market. Used G-wagens are selling for $150-200k right now, that's the most sought after SUV right now. And because it has no rival really, it's midsize, way smaller than any other expensive SUV, and it is way better off road than any other expensive SUV, and it has the iconic look. They essentially made the Lamborghini Countach of SUV's, it is the most head turning USV, but unlike Lamborghini who killed the Countach off (only to bring it back 30 years later), Mercedes just kept on building it.

  28. I saw my first Bronco a could weeks ago in person and they're a lot larger than I expected overall. Those ^ wheels and tires look aftermarket but probably not a whole lot different than the OEM options. Those market adjustments are absurd and I hope they sit on it until they have to bring it down to MSRP or even discount it for being over a year old.

  29. The price is totally BS. I would NOT buy from them as those market adjustment prices are thievery!

  33. That's right, they could have had a Urus, but got the G-wagon instead. Although although that looks like the 4x4 squared so maybe they actually go off road which the Urus isn't going to do. On the flip side they did buy an Aventator over the faster on the Nurburgring AMG GT Black series, but perhaps the Black Series wasn't on sale yet.
