Automotive News: Pontiac future products
about the 1.4L T/DI going into the solstice... does that make more sense than using the 2.3L DI engine that's coming for the equinox? would it make sense for the 2.3L be optional if P gets a "Cruze" of it's own? assuming the 2.3 has 190-200hp will the 1.4 get close , or will the 2.3 just be aimed at heavier/bigger vehicles?

Hey Guys!
welcome back. the scenery has changed some, the furniture has been rearranged, but it's still mostly the same house.

Fast and Furious 4 Trailer is out
nice, what is that music, it's familiar? it was prolly a GN clone. hollywood has too much money, but hopefully enough brains not to wreck a car worth 20k if it looks that good.

The pic we've all been waiting for

the 790fx chipset boards are kinda expensive. but you can find 790gx boards that are rated to run the 9950's power requests for around $120, these have the SB750. 780g's are from 70-100 having the SB700. supposedly the nvidia chipsets have nearly caught up with the 8x00 line. overall the 700 series chipsets have been given good reviews for their low prices , efficiencies, and options, great for HTPCs. intel still has the edge in raw power over AMD, but unless you're a hardcore gamer with a 24"+ screen either company has many good options for people.

rule #2
the no political talk rule, that has little rhyme and some reason to still exist....

rule #2
just wondering if it needs clarifying, or to be strictly enforced. or would just a room need to be created for strictly that purpose? I think the topic is important to more than a few people on here, can something be worked out?

i seem skeptical too. the low voltage has to be to keep it cool...ish. but it would be very cool if it's true... unless it's just a fake as in the cpuid is just not reading it right? you have a SB750 board? liking it? i'm waiting till after thanksgiving till maybe next summer to replace my hardware. an XP3000+ 1gb ram x800radeon

Looks like Delaware's Senator Joe Biden is the pick for Vice President
...."the real debate"... yes, but if it's human DNA and not the same as in the rest of the body, how scientifically can that be the same person? there are examples that defy this, kimeras and such. But again. if the cells are not genetically the mother's or the father's, but a combination, that's what makes an individual. otherwise you'd never become an "individual". that's why i "erased" what i said, it was in haste. I can understand why you want that....enforced, but open conversation about things that matter is what is missing from most of public life. i totally <3 the , but isn't it a disservice to not exercise what the was founded on? "(we gave you) a republic, if you can keep it"- Ben Franklin. edited: for accidental bumbling. haha

i'm not disagreeing...much, but some think life beginning at conception is a radical idea, even though it's science. radical to one may not be radical to another. that is all. because you work, the "man" deserves part of those benifits--monies..how is that not involuntary servitude? ok, then why do we not have a flat tax that is mandatory...aka why do exemptions exist? because the income tax is not fair and subverts your economic freedom if you can't weasel out of paying because of exemptions. and somehow rich people or corporations are "evil" that make money. i've even heard of a case that the defendant won because the 1040 is not a legal document according to the reduction of paperwork act. i have it bookmarked if you want the link. there was quite an interesting book/speaker on cspan. the throes of democracy talked about America circa 1820's to 1880's or so. he looked at how europeans looked at us and concluded we had many pretenses/falsehoods they all "believed" and didn't question, much. and then talked about our ACR. American civil religion. and also talked about how we "worship" the union above states rights and why we now think it's ok to ...have an interventionist foreign policy. ...reconstruction failed miserably, and now we just try to do that abroad.

6th gen Camaro powerplant roundup...
in the press release on here it says nothing of a 3.0L the base engine is the 3.6L nonDI. i googled 3.0L and found a thread about the 240hp 3.0L ford has upgraded to from the 200hp unit. one or two people have said that industry wide has moved away from that size... either ford's 3.0L is just packaged very well, or just want to keep the costs down. , 240hp in the small suvs.

6th gen Camaro powerplant roundup...
everyone assuming alpha? let's just run with that. i'd think the 2.3L would either have BAS or turbo it... either about 200hp or 320hp. a V6 would be fine IMO. something around 330 - 350hp? assuming a v8 fits a 5.0 would be more around 375hp and up to a 6.0L would be 460hp... i think if there is a 4cyl as a base or turbo, there will not be a "small" V6. look at the 'bu. there's an ~80hp gap. these gaps will decrease if na unhybridized engines stick around... they are the least efficient, typically. this might get interesting if dwightlooi comes in on this. hehe. upcoming 3.0L? is this true, any professional opinion/facts back this up?

don't forget, make GM pay taxes along with other corporations, because profits are evil!!!! a socialist idea. not true, i know of one. look at sig. as far as the taxes (income) Cnn easy to see chart income taxes are illegal to the 13th amendment. because you work: you owe the gov't money.

Chrysler starts production of 2 hybrid SUVs

Big 3 "Bailout" (well, cheap loans really)
i heard about that book, i may look into it myself. on topic, would "loans" be fair play compared to the other companies (toyota), i can't say NO. I'd love to see GM take a stand and say no and work through it, assuming those loans would be worth anything in several years.
