  1. I was starting to wonder about you, man. Yea how bad of a week has it been already, I have totally confused on my emails between the two Elizabeth's and they now are wondering if they are working on the wrong projects. In looking at this Engine, It would be cool to have a Whipple Supercharger on it.
  2. WHY WHY WHY, When will parents learn that giving your kids what ever they want does not make them a good person. Now they have to deal with their kid being burned over 80% and scared for life. The Moron Father.
  3. This - I agree 100%. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the GMC Terrain as a CUV. I'm hating on the name, as it implies something more. I wish GMC would have reserved it for something more suited for that name (actually, I wish they didn't use it at all and kept it for a true All Terrain package for their full-size pickups and SUVs). Acadia, Denali, Yukon are all national park names. As such, maybe they should have used that theme and went with Coronado, Glacier, Appalachian, or Saratoga? All are US national parks!! Hell I'd even say call it Rainier - how many people would remember the Buick outside of auto enthusiasts? Then GMC could have used the Terrain on a true offroad CUV that had the heart of a HUMMER! That would have Rocked! I like Rainer for the small Terrain.
  4. Sorry guys, It has been one of those days, when I saw this, I was actually thinking as Ocnblu stated DOHC, Glad it is not that.
  5. I was expecting "hoop" since I wrote "hula" theater See, I was seeing Hula the online show rental and so Netflix popped in my mind, now you put theater and my mind goes: Surround
  6. While I know not everyone is good at a manual tranny, I am surprised that I did not see this more with all the reviews I read, only a couple complained, but guess more than a couple if GM is truly doing this. Just glad GM is listening to feedback and truly responding to make things better.
  7. Rock On You are now Official Trail Rated by the Jeep Club!
  8. Hey Cort, Great to see you Pop in. Do Not be a stranger, you have many friends here who care. Glad to see you are still living life even with all the challanges. Hang in there and it will get better. Just remember to have a little fun or at least allot with those kids! Do it Kangnum style when you can!
  9. You guys crack me up, I get both the Sarcastic remark and the seriousness of the electric car which are fine luxury golf carts for inter city commuting.
  10. I am excited for this motor, but wonder about it being a OHV engine. I think they could have done this without the OHV thing.
  11. I'm the reverse. Average torso but long legs and "gorilla arms" Very cool to hear this Drew, this gives me even a better understanding then when you do your reviews as I can compare myself to how you fit in the auto. I wish more auto reviews would take into consideration how the auto will fit a person who has long legs and arms with short body or short legs and arms with long body. Either the sun roof kills you or the ability for someone to sit behind you. In my case, sun roofs and the ability for people to sit behind me nail it for just about all auto's. Only full size SUV's give me both except for the new Escalade. They took away so much interior room that I am holding onto my GMT800 2006 ESV Platinum Escalade as newer does not fit me.
  12. Funny thing is, if they were both showroom new, I'd take the green one (more my style overall). Nice Rides, I agree I would take the green over the red, but ouch, I see the ding on the Green one passenger side just behind the door. Poor Baby need the Ding Doctor to pop it out. Those guys are amazing. They come to work and do a car well for keeping it ding free.
  13. Rock On GM! I am excited by this engine and will be waiting to see what the Performance division does to take it to the next level. I suspect this engine has a ton more potential than they are initially giving in the base corvette. So BMW does 400HP/450ft lbs in a twin turbo V8 that is only 4.4L and this 6.2L is smaller and yet more powerful. Seems this engine will have a great range of power capabilities.
  14. If names didn't matter, Camry and Accord wouldn't dominate the sales chart. Acura and Lincoln names seem too much like alphabet soup, easily lost in the shuffle. I think Cadillac is in danger of going that route, and even Lexus names make no real sense either. The only way to make those names work is use CTS or ES350, etc for 20 years so people just get used to it. Camry and Accord started out in the name world when everyone used names. They just kept with it as they improved their own quality. If these cars had been the turds many other makers had, they would have dumped it also for a series of simpler naming convention.
  15. Video is great, I can barley hear of what I think is the engine clicking noise until they open the hood, would not be an issue for me or people I know. Couple things that seem to really stick out on this video is that crazy big fat semi pillar just after the A pillar, I see why they did the little window, but crazy. I do love the way they did the hood with the insulation, very clean and nice. I do find the overspeed warrning to be pretty funny. Exhaust does sound wimpy in my opinion. Needs to be tuned better. While we can all nit pick a car, this car is still pretty awesome and I think most will find it a pleasent ride.
  16. But then the Garden state has so much trash on the roads you can use these to get over that.
  17. Actually I see a ton of these here in Seattle AWD v6 models and they are all over the mountians here for skiing, hiking, camping etc. So the name goes pretty well for what I see them getting used for here.
  18. Wait and See attitude. I hope the CNG version also gets it. I gong to assume it will.

    08 Chargers

\ Are you tralking about the Charger or some of the ladies in the Curves thread? You crack me up, but I do mean the new Charger SRT8. Looks like it is about to blow or suck someone with that big black mouth.
  20. YOU DA MAN!!! Yes that is it and I think it is totally Awesome! I love the all clear headlights.
  21. This is sharp in this color I think. Back on topic, I am having a hard time seeing this company around by 2015. I think this will be another DeLorian mess.
