  1. I understand the TadPole comment, but over all it is still an appealing small truck. GMC having a more Masculine look will grab a fare share of market like the Terrain. It can polarize some, but you have to stand out from the rest and GMC needs to do this with their whole product line. Chevy can be Feminine in style but GMC needs to stay Butch. Never understood the female style of the current Yukon, that should have been the Chevy look and the Chevy Tahoe should have been the GMC look.
  2. The D-Max is OK looking, I think Chevy has a far better body style.
  3. Agreed... Still need to through this in the face of the idiots who thing GM is still going to fail. Seems FORD is having some rough times since they choose to not take a Gov Loan and purge themselves of old debt and union legacy costs.
  4. I have to say Fullmoon reading this is pretty freakin funny!
  5. Interesting concept this wheat belly. Have to research it some more. Thanks for sharing.
  6. I like your thinking and have to agree with what you say here.
  7. I am wondering what happened to the half of the $249 Million grant from the Gov that supposedly was not used yet.Is the company sitting on it, did the gov not give that half to them yet. How does a company that has been building battery packs for Toyota for so long not know how to keep at least a break even business plan? Where did the money go that caused them to do this?
  8. Bummer, sorry you had the accident, thankfully no one hurt and you live to learn from the experiance. Good Luck with the repairs, Since you had no accident in 10+ years, the insurance hit should not be that bad. If you get a moment post some pics for us to see.
  9. Lithium ion battery maker A123 Systems today said it has sold its automotive business to Johnson Controls and is filing for bankruptcy protection. The moves are a change in strategy for the ailing Waltham, MA-based company, which in August said it will sell an 80 percent share to the auto parts division of Chinese conglomerate Wanxiang for $450 million. Johnson Controls will acquire a significant set of assets for its $125 million investment, some of which were paid with federal aid. A123 Systems’ auto business includes its technology, two battery factories in Michigan, a cathode powder manufacturing facility in China, and A123’s stake in two auto parts suppliers in China. Johnson Controls also will put up $72.5 million so A123 can maintain operations during the sale. http://www.forbes.co...-sell-off-next/ So how will this affect the auto makers who use their batteries such as Toyota, Ford, Nissan...... Sounds off on how you see this shaking out in the auto industry! View full article

  11. I'm glad I'm not stuck in one either. Working on trying to get out of mine.
  12. Totally agree, I see this as a future Buick.
  13. That green is freakin ugly.
  14. Very true, most of todays names and emblems are bland and boring and have no emotion.
  15. I see many long term benefits coming out of mapping the Brain and better understanding how to stimulate it. I can see prisons going away once we know how to proper stimulate and change how people do things. Would be wonderful to not have to pay a tax used to incarcerate someone. Course I am all about an eye for an eye and wish they would move along in cleaning out death row. Why do we the tax payer have to pay for a death row inmate who in overwhelming evidence killed a person. Just remove the poor gene pool from population so we do not have the dragged on cost of having them live in a cell.
  16. It would be cool for a twin turbo V6 AWD in this as an upgrade in performance. I think many would love it even more. Just make sure to have an 8 or 9 speed Auto on it.
  17. I agree with you Hyper, So what is the real story here? What is the real message to the masses? I have to admit that while I am excited by this car and my personal understanding is this is a long range green car for the luxury market but with more performance so it will not be as fuel efficient as the Volt but still way better than if it was just another luxury 4 door. I honestly do not know the marketing message for this car yet. Does anyone else know what GM is trying to get across with this auto?
  18. We'll I have to give them credit, it seems to be a good little 4x4 beast, the youth and people looking for a fun small 4x4 should dig it in a proper Jeep Skin. COMPASS -
  19. But, But, But that seems to be the trend, all Auto's for the most part seem to have a face on their butt now. Not sure why we seem to feel the need to have an auto look at you and either smile or frown. I see this as an area that someone can make a real difference in with superior styling.
  20. I wonder if GM, Ford, etc ever look at their old emblems and realize that they could update the current emblem by using a bit of the past. I think that they have some awesome emblems that were lost compared to the bland ones being used today.
  21. Fact is for anyone in their 20's to 40's, this is our current day Depression. Sorry but we did not crawl out of this in 2009 like the gov said, Since 2007 America and now the world is in a Major Depression due to INSTANT GRATIFICATION DEBT. Until debt gets under control, we will be in static to meager growth.
  22. The Pleasure of Anal while enjoyable to many straight or not men and woman is still seen as a Taboo topic. Like anything, if one lets conservative closed minded people dictate life, then nothing will be studied or explored to better understand. Yet when we let educated individuals research topics such as this, then we get good documented information to better benefit society. Perfect example is the crusade by the conservatives to not have health education in school and not to talk about sex and yet as the better educated pushed to get school health education going, we saw the decrease in Kids having kids. States where they tend to minimize good health education also seems to have a much higher rate of kids having kids and STD's. I am happy to touch it with a 10" pole!
