I forsee BMW having a hard landing in the future. I honestly do not see a market for this car or the x6 for that matter. They are niche vehicles with very little sales from what I can gather. Is this just to have some marketing change blurb. I guess if they can really build it without it having a drain on raw costs, then a break even niche auto will work. But I do not see it at this time.

But at the right cheap price, you could gut it, clean it and put in the engine, electrical and inside you desire and have a killer auto. Not worth the effort. Would be to me. Think of a new Suburban, Camero, Sierra etc that you just gutted the electrical, interior, etc and then cleaned and painted and sealed the auto and then custmized the interior and powertrain to your liking. Anyone want a Suburban Duramax Diesel? If I could pick a suburban up for a few thousand dollars as scrap and then gut it and build it the way I want the interior and powertrain to be, this is well worth it to me.

Dfelt, if such is the case then it is good, but I fail to see why GM would pose that language on its website. Most sales GM would like to have come from companies that are focused on the CNG market who would then get the vehicle for a customer from the fleet sales person but that adds another layer of cost that I do not see as needed. So as the GM LinkedIn group said, just go see the fleet sales person to buy one. What do you mean? An individual going through his company that is CNG focused which in turn will approach a fleet sales person and then procure the vehicle? There are businesses that are wanting to change over to CNG fleet so a company will come to then, offer a CNG fueling solution and trucks and make a pitch to the customer and because they might have financing all setup, will buy the new GM CNG BiFuel trucks along with the CNG fueling solution and end up paying more than if you bought the trucks direct and only bought the fueling solution.

In talking to the lady who over seas the fleet program for GM and manages the LinkedIn GM CNG and Fleet Groups, she states that the fleet designation is there so that people have to work with the fleet sales person. Anyone can buy a CNG/Petrol Bi-Fuel truck from GM but must do it from the Fleet salesperson at the dealership. Anyone can buy the trucks. Dodge is planning at last anouncement to have their trucks out Jan 2013. They only get a 9gallon cng tank unlike GM or Ford who are doing the big tanks.

Thank you, That is my house originally built 1952. I gutted the inside down to the studes and redid everything, new copper plumbing, new electrical, panel, insulated even between the upstairs and down stairs and used 1" sheetrock so the house is almost sound proof. Ran plenum tubbing through out all going back to a core punch down block and then connects to my core switch and out the Fios modem in the Garage. Cat6e cabled, all shielded even electrical and the Roof is a 100yr roof with Ridge vent. Over all stays warm in the winter, cool in the summer and very little natural gas cost. Heat, water tank, dryer and stove all Natural gas. Plus my driveway can hold 9 suburbans with no problem.

Yes for sure on the color scheme and treatments but also some of the interior walls could be better done with reconfiguration. My use and tastes tend to go for more great room concept where you can have plenty of frends and family to have over and this home shows the very old small room style that just kills being able to do anything with large families.

Not True at all, the local GM dealership in the Seattle area are already selling these to the public. This is great for the fleets. FYI, They are using a type 3 CNG can for holding as to why the big tool box. World CNG who is a licensened IMPCO conversion company does this all the time but uses the more costly Type 4 Carbon Fiber tanks that actually go under the truck giving you the full bed, but at a reduced holding capacity. Fleets wanted maximum travel and so got a tank that give them 300 miles on CNG and 355 miles on Petro. Petro tank still bigger, but the combined 655 miles range is hard to beat. These trucks rock and this is the right step to get America off imported oil.

I think it's basically because GM doesn't want to do it; there appears to be no long-term drive except to cater to the ATS/CTS/Escalade crowd... It's a management option to go the way they've gone at it for the last 10 years, but an option without any major opportunity for the Cadillac brand to really restablish itself as a world-class reference. The fact is till they get the ATS and CTS best in class why would anyone pony up big money on a LTS? BMW was built pretty much from the 3 series up. They earned a rep on the lower priced cars and then expeanded it and moved the customers up that could afford it. Today Cadillac has the ATS almost there with only a need for some better engines. The new CTS also should prove to be class leading or right at that point. Once the public gets a good feel for these cars the LTS will be ready to be set upon the market. People will risk $40K on an ATS to see how they like it but few will risk $70-100K on a LTS only to find it not of their liking. Please them with the ATS and CTS beyond the others in the market and they will be willing to take the plung on the LTS. The key though is it much not just be a expensive and more expensive Super Sport sedan. I would agree with this, have GM spending money on building the worlds best ATS/CTS/SRX/Escalade in all versions. 4dr, 2dr, convertible, etc. In 3-5 years you can build an LTS.

Here is my house, I just had a new driveway put in. Been updating the house for the last 10 years and all that is left to do is finish the laundry room. 1600 Square foot house, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, 1 office, living room, family room, quarter acre lot. Driveway is 40 feet wide by 65 feet long and that is not including the side slab. I love it, all oak and modern inside. Drive way can support Semi's, I had them use commercial grade rebar in 1 foot square connections points 6" thick. As my parents say, overkill but then I will never have to worry about it wearing out in my life time.

Yet the house on this thread is gastly and needs to be gutted and updated with a proper inside and color scheme. Otherwise, replace it with something better. Modern can transend time if done properly. ^ This is my house... Very nice, now this house unlike the one at the start of this thread shows to me quality and character and I admit I have not even seen the inside yet. Some houses just say old and that is what the house at the start of the thread says to me.
