  1. Yea of course they want the sales higher, but when you are discounting so heavily the old model and in this current depression we are in, people will always take the low ball priced model for the most part. The numbers will shot up big time as all they will have to sell are 2013 models soon enough.
  2. Yea, I think it is supposed to be 20mpg average which totaly sucks but then look at the bland boring car. Maybe the buyers are too hung up on a name to care.
  3. Very true about the I want but do not want to work. The Entitlement crowd is what the kids and college kids are today. I have never understood how a person could think they are owed this from the day they were born, but parents are to blame for spoiling kids to become this way.
  4. While I love the El Camino, I would love to have the Chevrolet Corvair Rampside
  5. I like what I am reading and find it funny at how well they did an S class body cover, but you can clearly see the work going on to take it to the next logical evolution. Should be cool to see what they end up with. If money was not an issue, I think it would be fun to have one of these flying spurs in a Ruby Red color or a Metallic black with Black Chrome rims.
  6. Interesting to read the XTS reviews that seem to be contradictory of the Journalist. http://cars.about.com/od/cadillac/fr/2013-Cadillac-Xts-Review.htm He likes it but wants it replaced asap. Yet he loves to drive the XTS fast as it is fun. Go figure.
  7. Sweet to see auto journalist that say they like the ATS over the BMW. http://cars.about.com/od/cadillac/fr/2013-Cadillac-Ats-Review.htm Great review on the ATS.
  8. That would be cool to read and see with pictures of what they are doing.
  9. The Lexus hybrid has more gears, more cams, and is probably heavier, though. It might have some cool technology, but the passion is NOT there. It is dull, boring, dry, dead on arrival in the passion sense.
  10. that requires comments only appropriate for the politics forum. Yea, was not thinking politics at the time of my comment just that we seem to need a major reset on a global level to get things back into balance. I love many of the new auto's and especially the performance side, but also have to wonder when we have pushed the price outside of the target zone for the masses. I know that we need stepping stones for people to move up, but until they have must have entery level products that a working high school student or college student can really afford, it seems we have lost that ability. Part of this is due to all the excessive safety requirements on cars. Yes I would agree that a higher performance Camero should have the side airbags, head bags, roll cage, auto fire extinguisher system, racing cell fuel tank, etc. you get the point I am making that safety should be there, but at various levels based on the type of car. If they could have a Mini Camero that is 2 person only, half to 2/3rds the current body weight with a 2.5L turbo motor that can be sold ala cart to teens with a starting price of about 12-14K I think GM would have a hit on their hands.
  11. Very cool, will be interesting to hear about the road trip rattles and road noise.
  12. Yes, with the Green movement and the fact that you can get some pretty quick fun cars to drive with Turbo 4 or turbo 6 engines without having to take it to a racing level, I suspect over the next few years a number of low selling performance auto's will silently go away.
  13. Is it me or is this just a boring car even with the updated style language to fit into the rest of the Predator family? People who buy these cars must be like British humor, dry dry dry. Blaw
  14. Your right that if you paid MSRP it was not a nice Entry level car. Yet while it was in production, at least here in the Seattle area, you could get a fully loaded awd RT model for around 18K or so, well below MSRP due to rebates and other money thrown on the hood and when you compared it to a stripped down toyota or honda, it was still a very good deal when you compared fully loaded awd rt to base stripped Honda or Toyota for less money. Maybe it was just a local thing, but I always could get far more out of the caliber for the price compared to others around here. Yes it was a plastic mess inside, but you had the VW approach of selling fully loaded cheap to try and gain market share I guess.
  15. Yes, I have OnStar on every one of my GM auto's as well as my XM radio. I rarely listen to local radio any longer when I can listen to my favorites on sat.
  16. Seems the world could use a total reset of pricing and costs to better go with the actual wages people make.
  17. Best way to get what you really want is to buy a 2 or 3year old Lease return that is done up under the GM Certified Used cars program. That way avoid the depreciation hit and get a much more loaded auto. Yeah, I thought about that. Not a huge fan of buying used, especially a sports car unless I know the owner and how it was taken care of. But you're right, the depreciation hit and options for the value are huge. We'll see what happens when the time comes to purchase. These end of model year deals are pretty enticing... I just purchased a couple months back a 2008 Trailblazer SS that was GM certified and over all, while I have a few nicks to get touched up and due to having babies in the back seat, so a few spots to clean on the leather and carpet, I am very pleased with the deal I got spending less than half of what this fully loaded baby cost new. I totally love new, but am all for saving money with a 1 or 2 year old car that is GM certified.
  18. Would you really want to kiss let alone reproduce with your cousin? Some how this is just weird to me though incest is one of the biggest search items for porn on search engine listings. Seems society loves to love themselves in one way or another.
  19. Awesome Olds, sounds like an awesome ride. I am also another person that loves to get out on the road and drive. I can just have tunes playing and enjoy driving. A great way to see america and enjoy a road trip. Too bad so many people want to tune out the world and road trips all for being hooked on Facebook or playing some game. This is the reason all my auto's have over 200K miles. I drive them and keep them in as nice as condition as possible.
  20. This one ton is a sweet ride. I always like this look and yes I know it is a football field long and wide, but nothing like Truckin!!! Just wish it was a diesel.

  22. Not sure why but these pics since I first posted this morning just kept scratching my brain and so after spending some more time looking at them, I think I know why. I know it has the Fake Double Kidney look of the BMW grill kinda, but these 3 pictures seem to shout out to me Buick Knock Off. Especially the 3/4 side pic or very first pic as it has that same waterfall look of the Buick.
  23. It is interesting that this seems to be an evolution of the iMID system found on Honda Civic GX CNG cars. Just expanded to cover their new EV version and to get more Honda Auto's with the Bluetooth phone and satellite access for navigation, road conditions and weather. So question begs to be asked, Why drag this out? Why do a version for the CNG, now call it something different and role this out to the EV Fit car and the Accord. Why not just role it out to all auto's so that people can buy with this technology rather than drag it out. GM does well with having their OnStar and XM/Sirius on all auto's. Honda wake up and realize, this needs to go into all auto's now.
  24. At least this is better looking than the current 2012 ugly Civic.
  25. Agreed that the big money and then cut them loose when their is not instant gratification of big profits is a problem in corporate america. Sadly as long as executives and boards of companies always look to instant gratification and instant profits over long term growth and dedication to all you will have this churn and burn business thinking.
