  1. Yup, I can understand that the Electrical can be a PIA, but consider how cheap it is to buy new harnesses and then it is the labor of putting it in, but you could verywell end up loving the car all over due to being solid and dependable if the rest of the powertrain is solid. How many miles are on the car? What specific electrical issues have shown up?
  2. Front on view and 3/4 view is traditional Lambo, Rear end also but just blah. Over all I have always liked the tight low swept looks of Lambo's. The big disappointment is the Engine as always, Ton of HP, Little Bitty Torque. Have to rev the hell out of it just to get it moving and then there are better cars out there for less money than this. They really need to start from Scratch on their style and especially engines.
  3. Wow, talk about a short stubby ugly car. Has the Hideous buck tooth grill of Acura, Pinched butt for a rear end and the interior is the continuation of spartan minimalist with just bland dash, colors and looks cheap. I just do not get the designers at Honda let alone Acura.
  4. Would it not be worthwhile if he likes the existing car to fix it up so all the nagging little things that are wearing out are solid for his last few years? At least this way you know what the current state of the auto is in and can then fix the issues that need attention.
  5. wow, very cool, I hope Chevy Plays this up!
  6. Looking better on the outside, the interior is nice but what is the Pimple in the center of the dash over the NAV? A DVD or CD Player? Just does not flow nicely.
  7. Both trucks are sharp. I wonder how close in price the Canyon is to the Sierra? For me I think I want a Monochromatic version with all the goodies. Just not a chrome fan.
  8. Awesome ride, way to go! My first auto was my dads 1975 Series 5 Chevy Luv Truck. I drove the wheels off it, then restored it and ended up selling it for double what my dad paid for it.
  9. I figure VW, Audi and Porsche will all have their own separate meetings and then eventually a huge settlement will happen. I expect this to cost these companies up to 10 Billion in Fines plus the cost of fixing the autos here in the US.
  10. My CT6 came in at $90,040 dollars with the AWD TTV6 engine as a platinum package. My ESV Platinum Escalade in Majestic Plum Metallic comes in at $100,691. Lovely, simply lovely.
  11. Lets try a bit bigger as the other is readable if you download it but not just clicking on it.
  12. So I got my monthly newsletter all about the Latest batch of Updates and I have to say it was very underwhelming and mostly marketing rehash of stuff they already have stated before. Why can they not really deliver something new?
  13. Spur of the moment? Anyways I imagined that statement with RAM truck commercial voiceover dude's voice. Guts. Glory. Testicular Fortitude. RAAAAMMMM Then I imagined Jeep Grand Cherokee ad music. The one they played during the "What we make Makes us Commerical" Oddly befitting. Let's not forget the best one yet! Built like a Rock! Solid as a Rock!, Hard as a Rock!
  14. Really the Colorado? Why not the Canyon?
  15. Clearly not much electronic wise any more. The US has become and engineering country and an incubator for start ups but otherwise we have lost the lower middle class jobs to cheaper labor elsewhere. One reason I pay a bit more for my floor mats. WeatherTech http://www.weathertech.com/products/?utm_source=BingAds&utm_medium=CPC&utm_campaign=FloorMats-Gen Quality product and made in america, I respect this company for closing down their overseas plants and bringing the production back home.
  16. Lets try for doubling existing sales first with 24K in sales.
  17. NGO's???????? Not sure what it stands for but I thought this came out by the universities that were trying to figure out how VW diesels did not need to use the same emission controls that everyone else is using? NGOs - non government organizations. It was Universities in the U.S. and I believe some industry-affiliated organizations in Germany that first discovered this. The latter part I may be wrong, but alas, yes NGOs continue to show how slow our paid-for regulators are. Thanks for the clarification, I agree, the Gov organizations are slugs in comparison to the NGO's that seem to want to dig into why things do not add up.
  18. Still a Failure in my book as they did not clearly beat the Americans.
  19. Totally understandable, but if I was an executive, I would double down with keeping some capacity in the states as eventually gas prices will rise.
  20. Doubt it, not sure why or how this got through in development, but this is a pig no matter how you look at it. FAILURE!!!
  21. Me too. The forum login window is just blank on my end but I haven't been sweating it since I frequent there less and less these days. Just Another reason to not bother going there. Really you have us here so why bother with them? Interesting now that the Muslim Radicals have made such a huge kill, the Muslims are now speaking out against the radicals.
  22. Interesting, from the back it screams station wagon and from the front I get Ford Edge from the body flow. The front grill says Double Kidney BMW. Nice and interesting.
  23. http://www.motoringresearch.com/car-news/fiat-500-powerful-enough-hills-says-bbcs-watchdog-1107954951 Buyers of Fiat's new 500 with the 1.2L engine designed to meet the Euro Spec 6 emission laws say the car cannot even start on a hill let alone even get up hills. People feel unsafe in the auto. To Quote the story: “Fiat says this subtle difference might take some drivers a while to get used to. In other words, the reason all the owners we’ve spoken to can’t get up hills, is because they’re not good enough drivers. Fiat, by the way, says nothing about how you’re supposed to drive the manual 1.2.” Interesting to see they used one of the Top Gear drivers who even failed to get the manual fiats up a hill. Pretty interesting. Watch the video.
  24. We'll I have to say I have not heard of some of these but there is some very interesting body designs. Check it out and sound off on what you find interesting! http://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/autos-passenger/50-supercars-you%E2%80%99ve-probably-never-heard-of/ss-BBlRh0B?ocid=UP94DHP Never knew Yamaha made a supercar. Have to say that the Panoz Abruzzi does look interesting. Have to say I like the looks of the Trident Iceni Magna even though it does have a serious MB style to it. Devon GTX is pretty hot.
  25. We have heard this from other auto companies and now GM, I have to say that the more I think about this and to read that China is now considering an Emissions agency, the world really does need a single standard.
