  1. Shadow made some good points. Better is well better so can't we all just be happy and call it a day. We all knew weren't getting a new XLR. So I am happy a step in the right direction is all it took to make me happy.
  2. Thats funny I am like what the hell kind of G6 you talking about. Then I read the tire line and figured out there were drag-cars.
  3. GM just needs to build relevant product and have great marketing. If you build it they well buy it. (The new Malibu is proof of course this only applies to a well executed car!)
  4. It is a shame the waited for 2008 to fix that ugly grille. But honestly they are not a bad car.
  5. Call me crazy but what about a 3.5L V6 Impala LS or LT. They get decent fuel economy. Have plenty of room and have good giddy up. Also they can be had for like nothing now that the new Malibu is out. My brother got his loaded 2008 LTZ that was nearly 29K for 20 even.
  6. Just try to get a GM car okay?
  7. Energy prices won't stay like this trust me. People won't get there lights screwed out this bad. Trust me, we need more domestic production, and more production from the Saudi's.
  8. Glad to here you are okay. I was wondering about you. In Dubuque, IA we have had no problems yet river is above flood stage (the Miss) but nothing nearly this bad. Iowa City (U of I) got hit bad *not a Hawkeye fan tho*, along with Des Monies, Ceder Falls, Waterloo and Burlington apparently. The Dubuque flood wall is like close to 30ft and were at like 22ft now so we should be okay. My heart and prays go out to everyone in the flooded areas. Side note HWY 20 that runs through DBQ that is flooded unlike I80 is getting lots of traffic police are directing it, and lots of merging on ramps have been closed. As a local I know how to get on tho. Certainly is a big mess for alot of people. Stay safe 'Stang and best of luck through this hard time.
  9. If I couldn't get GM I would go Dodge then prolly Honda or Ford. After that I would rather walk.
  10. No suprise here, product, product, product and good marketing will save them. Nothing else well.
  11. The 2007 Malibu you drove with the 2.2 was lighter wasn't it? More aerodynamic? Just some other thoughts thrown out there. I'd go with that sweet orange one, it is a sweet heart of a price. Is that a 2.2 or 2.4?
  12. I know th Ecotec redlines well but the deep growl of the 3.4/3.5 and torque off the line is hard not to love. I love both my 3.4's. Each get much better fuel economy than my beloved 3800 in my Bonneville.
  13. Looks good to me. Can I have a link to see the photos blown up?
  14. I would go HHR or Fit if it was me. No Scion or Toyota if it were me. Side not an Astra would be fun but they get pricey and would rather have an SS HHR myself. What about a stripped Malibu LS?
  15. It is a great time to buy any used car especially a truck and an HD truck at that.
  16. I hope they get cool standard gauges.
  17. Looks nice, hell I'd consider one.
  18. Mazdaspeed6 driven by some cute blonde, she was pretty speedy and good at driving stick actually.
  19. They do have reasoning they are ugly. I never said it made anyone less attractive. My reasoning is I don't like them and don't think they are as stylish. Where did you come from? Why can't I dislike min-vans? I do like the touring edition odessey and new caravan.
  20. Saw my first Smart in red/silver with 50 mpg writen on the window huge. With a window sticker... Also saw a 2008 Sierra SLT Crew Cab Z71 Black on Black at a construction site mud'n it was pretty sweet.
  21. Minivans are not cool... Let me tell you two stories... The wife and always went round and round a few times through-out the years on the mini-van thing... I am not opposed to them like I once used to be aka before the GM "Space Shuttle" then after that I started to warm up to them. Take figure A in 1994 when the Colt died (I know it is not listed in my sig as my wife had it and never considered it a part of my GM fleet) I started considering a Transport with a 3800 but that proved to pricey and my wife didn't want an un-cool minivan she suggested a Century Station Wagon. (hahahah) Well we got my aunts 7 year old Delta 88 with 35,000 miles on here and drove that puppy into the groud when the trans went in 2001 then got the Impala. Fast-foward to 2005 when I was Bonneville shopping and found my SLE my wife asked about a new Venture I about sh*t my pants I just said honey no. I had my heart set on my over-sized Poncho boat and the last year for the Bonneville and the only year for the SLE with GXP styling. So the Venture was out and honestly I said honey we'd have to wait till 2006 when the SV6 gets a 3.9L V6 but that never happend. When we got the Torrent my wife said I don't want a minivan and I said good Pontiac doesn't have one anymore and now that they have a Torrent you wouldn't win that battle anyways. My sister got sick of here 1998 Plymouth Voyager SE with a 3.3L V6 and tinted windows etc, (it had near 200K on here) and got a used a 2000 Lexus RX 300 AWD with 82K on it she said minivans were dorky and it was the last one she would drive. So after years of DCX minivans my aunt got here first Lexus. As popular as the once were they are sure not anymore.
  22. Great Toyo has another screw-up.
  23. The Poncho dealer in town got in a white and a black GT both have been sold.

    Lust

Saw it yesturday downloaded all the photos. Still would rather a have T/A Turbo or T/A GTA from the same generation. Or a GNX, 72 GTO 455 HO in Lucerne blue with honey combs, 72 Grand Prix Hurst SSJ or 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special, or 1993 Cadillac Sixty Special, 1993 Cadillac Deville Touring Sedan, or last but not least a 1991 Bonneville SSE. After all those cars are over 15 years old so I can call them "classic". But what can I say I have odd taste... Not to forget a 79-80 Trans Am 6.6L T/A with WS6 and the new snow flake wheels from the SLP Bandit cars, or a 1981 Bonneville Sport Coupe, and a 1986 Grand Prix Aero Coupe. How could I forget all those GM beatuies.
