  1. Von Glad to here it
  2. I think LA is right.
  3. They both look good. The one GM I'd buy over a Chevrolet any day.
  4. Down a flight of stairs eh? Well that is what I am looking for, I am not perfect. I just ordered it. The bank account has lightend up yet again.
  5. I think you would love a G6 enough room in the trunk decent economy from the 3.5L and prolly good rebates. Get one and never look back.

    Idea

I would get it, and drop a 6.6 in if it would fit or do a 3.9L Flex Fuel like in the Impala. The make 233hp and back to a stick it would be a slick setup. Or a 3.8/4.3 Turbo would be sweet too. Go with the Duramax if that doesn't work a 3.9L with a stick and E85 would be pretty sick too.
  7. Honestly I think killing any brand is stupid. Pissing of loyal customers... Trust me I watched many an Aurora get traded on an Avalon not a Lucerne and alot of Alero owners go too Camry's. And I think Pontiac needs at least two SUV/small wagon vehicles, sometimes people like me want a little more sport than in the Chevy. I could have gotten an Equinox cheaper but liked the interior trim, unqiue front end and sportier ride. Also everyone has an Equniox I dared to be different. Plus the Torrent had better wheels than the Equi.
  8. Sorry Camino its late.
  9. Now for the photos... So there you go that is what they look like. I like the basic black look myself and I know they are built like bricks from what I have heard!
  10. I have been laptop hunting in addition to my Macbook which has 2GB of ram Duo Core Intel based Mac from work I want something for home in addition to my two older pc's. I have been thinking about a Lenevo Thinkpad T Series a buisness style notebook. I really don't need much stuff on it but I do want a widescreen and a high rpm hard drive. Also a Core 2 Duo is a must and would like about 2GHZ in that Core 2 Duo. In addition I have a very nice exteral HD (500 GB 1/2 Tera) where I have all my stuff so I don't need a huge hard drive 80gb or 100gb would do. Also I have an excellent dual layer DVD/CD burner that is external so I only need a DVD/CD-RW drive. I also need 2GB of ram I don't want a slow laptop. By the way no VISTA, I getting XP with the Service Pack 3. I will be running Microsoft Office 2007 Pro, and I taking the plunge and getting the Adobe CS3 Master Collection for it too. (Its like $2,500 yikes!) So here is what I built... 11. Focus the brands. Chevy simple have a affordable and stylish car line from small to large with Camaro/Vette and make Chevrolet trucks get better economy and stylish yet affordable. Pontiac focus on AFFORDABLE mainstream performance with differences in products from there Buick, Saturn and Chevy cousins. Buick AFFORDABLE luxury with Lexus-ish vehicles and style. Cadillac all out no excuses luxury with a full line-up of RWD cars and one traditional FWD "old fart car" and also keep the SRX and Escalade. Saturn vehicles with excellent fuel economy and styling with a unique euro flare think Opel. GMC keep building tough trucks and focus your line-up with vehicles that are true trucks. Saab keep bringing out affordable performance luxury products with AWD and turbo-chargers. Think more like Audi. Hummer keep building great off road vehicles including the H2 and H3 but give them both diesel and hybrid offering along with a more affordable H4 like a Wrangler. You see that wasn't that hard. Treat each brand seperate and focus in on what they build to minimize over-lap.
  12. I am not a huge fan of the sedan but in a coupe they are hard not to love. I would honestly go 50th Anni Impala, G6 GT Coupe or Malibu LT_ something with a 4 cylinder. The 3.5's are pretty good on gas and power too. I do love the G6 coupe but alas I have a soft spot for Pontiac...

    I have TB

They are giving them away around here. My local dealer has 15 Equinox's they are selling like mad. Torrent's aren't doing to bad either.
  14. If Pontiac goes I might not ever be able to forgive them. With products like a Solstice and G8 it will be hard to axe then. Honestly in the current truck market Hummer and GMC seem like the obvious options to go. Get rid of Hummer and GMC first. I don't think GM should get rid of any brand it is hard enough to get customers not that you want to take away from you offer so people have less choices. Pontiac is a strong selling compared to Buick. I would axe Buick before I would axe Pontiac. I think Pontiac and GMC are each safe. I am concerned about Hummer, if they axe Pontiac I might have to buy Honda.
  15. Getting ride of the CTS, Escalade, DTS/STS names at this point would be just plain stupid.
  16. That is in better shape then the Shadow Dodgefans brother and him are working on. I still can't stop laughing that actually is kinda cool. So how does it drive?
  17. XP and 68 I have gotten my best laugh in ALONG time. Seriously tho Dodgefan what in the f*ck are you thinking I mean your brother. I could understand a Dayton or up level model but a base, rusted to $h! Shadow. Hell for that kind of money I can get a really nice computer, or decent used $h!-box. Hell my old GP went for $250 and at least that had a V6, working A/C and hardly any rust. I can't believe your brother is that stupid. I am going to stop there... Ehhhh good luck I guess. *Thanks for the great laugh!*
  18. Sad those were the ugly cars of the day. Honestly dorky people I knew drove them aside of that its not like it is a club of decent looking cars but ugly $h!-boxes. I don't care how many turbos they had they were down right ugly. Now where is the Camry Club of America? Actually I don't mind average car clubs like ones of Monte Carlo's, Bonneville's, Equinox's etc. but this is crazy. I am now going to throw up... Then again there is a club for everything these days.
  19. I think both of you should just get the new Malibu! I have driven one a 2LT with a 4 cylinder promised myself I would never own one, but loved it and thought it had great guts. When they put the six as an option on 1LT's and standard on 2LT's and LTZ's it will be a world-class powertrain and world-class design together. I drove an LTZ V6 and failed to see why I would spend the extra money and get worse fuel economy. Although that puppy had lots of kick. With the six speed auto the Malibu would be a no brainer. Also the 50th Anni Impalas are really nice and prolly have frick'en huge rebates, also would have tons of room and look good not as good as a Malibu but would be sweet with two tone leather in all.
  20. Just get the HHR or Malibu. By the way the current Impala's aren't that bad.
  21. Cadillac should be listening the next gen is due in a few years... I think they could do wonders as the previous poster mentioned it would for sure look amazing. I recall seeing my first Alante back in the summer of 87 when we were building are house. My father and I were riding in his first Deville and we each about sh*t a brick. He said son stay in school. Well I had graduated over 7 years ago but he made his point.
  22. Buick GN (86-87) with GNX style rims, I had to walk over by it to make sure it wasn't a true GNX. It was still sweet, hey GM I prefer a RWD V8 but you can still do a performance V6 RWD coupe and sedan!
  23. I know you would sixty. That is what scares me.
  24. The Cobalt and G5 are nice cars in coupe form but in sedan form it is ugly.
  25. The Cobalt and G5.
