At my daughters high school graduation one of the parents pulled up in a Camry hybrid. You'd have thought it was an Enzo Ferrari driven by a naked supermodel given the response of people standing around in the parking lot. These things do have a fan base. That is really sad. I wouldn't have been a happy parent and prolly would have told them to buy an American car ans support an American company.

PCS do you know anything particular about this car? Like motor? Or the frame aside of the fact it is a 4WD GM vehicles? Another thing they were trying to match your moves in your GXP in a BOF Caddy limo?

Well I have always wondered when the currrent president was put into office in 2005 he road in an unknown Cadillac to me. That I realized was the up-coming DTS, later after studying the front end and looking at spy photos. I confirmed that later at the Chicago Autoshow in 2005. Having said that it doesn't ride on regular tires, obviously it is armored heavily but from the photos on GM's media site it doesn't even appear to be on something remotely similar to the G-body platform, which they had offered armored in the previous Deville from 2004-2005. One rear photo confirms it has leaf springs! My question being what is this thing riding on? Does it have a Northstar in it? Is it even FWD? I know president Clintons Fleetwood was powered by a 4L80E and a 454ci but anyone have a clue about this DTS? Also why are the wheel opening so big, and what is the deal with the Wrangler SUV/Truck tires... Anyone have any insight, knowledge, facts or educated guess's at to what might be under there? Or anyone ever heard it drive by and can confirm it was or wasn't powered by a Northstar. Anyone know the truth behind the to most a seemingly normal looking limo DTS?

Still wouldn't get one. Next years Malibu gets 33 or 34 in the Hybrid trim I forgot which one. The Camry Hybrid is rated at 36 is all.

Yes your right the Accord, Fusion, G6, Malibu, Impala, Charger, Avenger, Sonata, Optima, Altima, Taurus all look way better than this ugly $h!-box and the interior aside of the new 'Bu and Accord honestly look like $h!. A new 2008 Camry Hybrid in Jasper Pearl with tan leather, look what he paid for it 33,500, 2K over sticker on a loaded Camry hybrid goes for 31K was this guy on crack who bought. People really would pay over sticker on an ugly boring midsizer? What kind of dumb-f*cker a-buys a Toyota and then pays more than its worth. Wasn't like it was a somewhat cool Land Cruiser or 4Runner but a Camry Hybrid give me a an f*cking break. Toyota buyers, figures. So what do you guys think? This makes me want to get a G8 GT for less and put a nasty Toyo hating and hybrid bashing bumper sticker on it... Something with the words V8 and "F*CK OFF!". Bastards... I am not unhappy if people buy a GMC but I like the look of the Silverado over the Sierra any ways. The All Terrain is tempting as is a nice Denali Sierra but still no. Sorry GMTruckGuy I have never been a big GMC fan. Although a buddy of mine has a 2000 Sierra SL Regular Cab long box SL work truck in gold/ebony with a 325ci. Vortec 5.3L and it drives nice and has great pick-up.

I am disapointed with both canidates just let me put it that way. I will end up voting for the one the keeps the most money in my pocket. Listen I agree no bail-out but a small terrif sounds tempting but could back fire. McCain could capitalize on that and say I own a Cadillac CTS and support the American auto makers I wish more people would too. Dumb ass and so is Barack. I want whomever is elected to level the playing field, like that will ever happen. I have a better chance of losing 50 lbs and that ain't prolly ever gonna happen either.

Trust me I agree filling up a nice midsizer with a V6 is so much better than a nice Envoy. I wish you nothing but the best Also how is the rear legroom in them honestly?

Trust me at the gas pump I wouldn't miss the Envoy! What is it EPA rated at and also I thought it was a GT at first with the cool chrome wheels. But with the chrome package and V6 it is as close to a GT as you can get. Great color by the way isn't Caddycrusier gonna have a white diamond coupe? I would love to see photos of those two wonderful Pontiac's together. WELCOME BACK to the PONTIAC family. And yes around her I bought a Pontiac in January, you and Derek just got yours so yeah we buying Pontiac's here on C&G which I consider to be a GREAT thing.
