  1. I saw this...I need to find the time to do it! Probably on Friday.
  2. OK...without the buffoonery, I like the G30 5 Series and the M5 is looking like Id be adding this car in future dream car garage threads. Along with the Audi S6 it would make for a nice 1-2 punch. I saw my first CTS-V in the wild 2 days ago...Ill just say that the CTS V would be my uppercut square to the jaw. Waiting for the CT5 V to knock my socks off though. If I was a real buyer in this realm in all honesty, either the new 2018 Audi S6 or the G30 M5 would get my money until the CT5 V arrives... But then again....the Tesla P100D is still an interesting sports sedan... Its a good thing that I dont see fit in dumping 100 thousand on a car because Id have a real first world crisis on my hands...I wouldnt know what car to buy...
  3. LOL Babies and old fogeys BOTH ARE Needy MUTHAf@#kAS!!!
  4. Should there be a response to this vehicle? Before you respond to me with a WTF you talking about Willis attitude... Hear me out on this one... The I.D. Buzz is meant for Hippie revival sentiments Its all cool and all...but if I wanted 1970s emotions revisited (with an electric flair to it)...Id go with something like this... And if an electric muscle car does not fit with the 2022 time-line because vans and SUVs make more sense then at least GM could answer with a more less hippie trendy vehicle.. OK...I mean...there was this side to a VW bus too... LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL IF THIS VANs A-ROCKIN', DONT COME A-KNOCKIN'! But there was this to the Detroit Big 3 vans too So...like I asked before...should there really be a response to this vehicle or maybe something more of a 1970s GM vibe instead? If we were to do an EV van, I personally would prefer this stereotype instead! (yes...yes...this happens to be more of an 1980s vibe to it...it must be the 1980s electro music that was the 1980s that makes me feel this way)
  5. My first reaction after seeing his name After reading....realizing his view was of us Not giving two shytes and continuing to lose my mind...in Detroit Rock City!!!
  6. R.I.P.
  7. 1. 1973 Pontiac Trans Am 455SD (1978 pictured below because quite frankly, Id take any 2nd gen Trans Am) 2. 1970 Olds 442 W-30 or 1969 Hurst/Olds 455 cubic inches 3. 2017-2018 Dodge Challenger 392 Scat Pack 6. 2018 Lexus LC 500 5.0 V8 4. 2009 CLS 63 AMG 6.2 liter V8 7. E39 BMW M5 4.9liter V8 8. I just just learned about this car searching for a Chevy SS to post. 2009 HSV W427. Oh Yessssssss baby! 427. As in the 7.0 liter LS7. Only 90 were built, and I want me it badly. 9. 2017 Mustang GT350 5.2 liter V8 5. I need/want a Cadillac to round off the first 5. A new Cadillac. One with a Corvette engine Problem is new Cadillacs with the Vette V8s have this thing called a supercharger. The only one that does not have is an Escalade....so we do an Escalade ESV. 10. Ill continue rolling the dice and continue with a truck. One with a Viper engine.
  8. I did not quite comprehend what Balthy meant by that and I certainly did not understand what Mr. Moltar found so funny...until I saw who Balthy was quoting. And even then...I did not fully get it...but then it hit me instantly! Delayed reaction.
  9. knowing what we know about there not being too many actual car enthusiasts that actually love driving anymore, does it really matter if its just a beautiful car and not much else? I personally LOVE to troll BMW in that regard about BMW getting away from, for the most part, its Ultimate Driving Machine persona...but globally speaking, I don't think anybody cares about that slogan anymore. I wouldn't fault them if the next gen Z4 is just but a beautiful face and sexy body.
  10. I was at a family gathering awhile back and there were a whole bunch of beer snobs in attendance... Only the high falutin' imported beers like Stella Artois and the BOTTLED micro brewery stuff seemed be to worthy for these folk and yup...you guessed it...the favorite phrase of the day was "tastes like piss". Actually..."warm piss" was the correct descriptive. Your post of the Bud Light reference reminded me of that get together. It was the young dudes that thought they were cool that were the most vocal. Ill understand when seasoned veterans define beer as such as they have had the experience to know what is good and what is blah... These young dudes were just...blowhards. I was at that age too once upon a time ago...and you know what? Like pizza and sex...at that age...even bad BEER IS DAMNED GOOD! Its BEER! At that young age....THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH IT!!! ANY BEER!!! I was laughing inside at them as to say that they thought they had something on me for HATING Stella Artois and LOVING Budweiser or Amstel or Lowenbrau but I know...they are missing something great if they have not had the fun that I had with beer if they were too snobby...and cheap to chug the expensive imported stuff... And yes....Ive had this type of fun with beer...and no...no drunkiness...just horniness enhanced with beer...Budweiser and Molson beer...
  11. Dongfeng also denied a purchase of FCA http://www.motortrend.com/news/dongfeng-doesnt-want-buy-fiat-chrysler-either/ Im thinking Sergio bullshytted...again...to bring attention to himself...again... These are desperate desperate times for Sergio... Time is running out on Sergio...
  12. Not as sleek as the current and future BMW roadsters, Id rather the Z8 by a landslide. And one could easily tell the Z8 is a product from another era from the somewhat tallish rake of the windshield as compared to its younger brothers or the lack of the modern headlamp kits of today with the lack of LED strips and such...
  13. outgoing Z4 next gen Z4 I definitely see the evolutionary design. And its quite stunning the next gen I must say...but I must say this also that I also see a tad of Pontiac Solstice in there too. The next gen Z4 could also double as a possible next gen Solstice GΧP. I swear Ive said this before now that Pontiac is gone...that BMW's styling emulates Pontiac in spirit...the irony being that during Pontiac's last years...Pontiac wanted to emulate BMW...
  14. Question. When someone compares a crappy beer to piss, does that mean that that person knows what piss tastes like?
  15. My substitutes (and I made a mistake...the list did indeed include a 1969 GTO and a 1963 Sting Ray) At the very least!
  16. I didnt realize it was a British publication. Ill even go as far and understand if fins of the 50s dont peak the interest of British tabloids... Still no excuse...
  17. The Aston Martin Rapide shouldnt even be on that list. It is one of those unmitigated stinkers you are talking about. The Audi A5...while a nice car, certainly shouldn't be part of an all time beautiful list...especially when I 1968-1972 GM A-Body muscle car coupes lust worthy...and none of those made the cut...The A5 IS nice....but its also BLAND! The Maserati Ghibli aint a looker by my standards. I could see why it may make the list though so I aint gonna argue that but, I certainly think a 1963 and a 1969 Corvette both are nicer and sexier designs and NO Corvette is on that list either! So GM (and Chrysler to a degree) who is the inventor of the car as fashion marketing selling point and the creator of some of the most incredible show cars for over 100 years that some of those styling cues made it to production cars with such mythical designers such as Earl and Mitchel but only 1 or 2 GM cars and 1 or 2 Chryslers made the list...(European cars dead sexy...but a 1968 Alpha Romeo 1750 GTV, TVR 350, ANY SUV on that list...But really? SUVs?, Ford Capri...and others...are phoquing HOMELY...not beautiful!) (Oh...and I like that Alpha Romeo 1750 GTV...I just dont think its downright beautiful...it has a certain charisma...however a 1967 Pontiac GTO though...is phoquing GORGEOUS!!!) Talk about a click bait article if you ask me.
  18. The first two are staples in a garage like this for me. 1. 1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am 2. 1987 Buick GNX 3. 2018 Audi S6 4.0 TTV8 4. 2018 Cadillac CT6 Platinum 3.0TTV6 5. 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost 6. 1986 Porsche 930 Turbo 7. Nissan Skyline R33 GTR V spec 8. Alpha Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio... Not for the car itself, but for the Ferrari derived 505 hp 2.9liter TTV6...this engine seems to be out of this world! 9. Shelby Series 1 Supercharged 10. BMW M2
  19. Chryco died in 2008-2009. (Earlier than that if you wanna go further back to the merger of equals) The FCA thing in hindsight just prolonged the agony...it was a good thing as many did not lose their jobs...it would have been disastrous... Does it really matter who gets to say they own Chrysler, Dodge (and Dodge Trucks), Jeep at this point in time?
  20. PS: Ill continue being a douche... Speaking of gunpowder and the Old West...which is a BIG part of American history with the end of the Civil war and all... There was this too...you know...how America's first steps in becoming a world super power began...all coinciding with the industrial revolution...with the electrification of our North American world... I repeat: the very essence of our North American existence is DIRECTLY related to the Chinese...
  21. This could be a very good thing...or it could be a very bad thing... The Hollywood glitz of it all is the bad thing...and THAT is what our society actually takes to when it comes to those two Presidents...
  22. Instead of us whining about the Chinese...maybe we should reflect upon what BLU just said and maybe just try to prevent more bleeding... The British lost their automobile industry...its only fake national pride that keeps them going... Maybe us as North Americans should take a good hard look in the mirror, identify the problem and fix what is ailing us!!! It is hard to do because the truth hurts...its easier to blame somebody else though.... And this could turn political, racial, educational, social, rational and any other kind of "-----al" we could think of because in my opinion...there is more than one problem wrong with our North American society!!! Dont look now guys...but many other world markets have surpassed us in anything remotely related to Americana of cocktails and dreams... The only thing we rule is garbage TV where everybody thinks they could be a star of some sort... Big Brother American Idol Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump becoming Presidents of our nation... the OJ Simpson trial and everything that is related to that such as the Kardashians and BLM... School and mall shootings and cops killing people off of burnt headlight stops and routine check-ups thug culture and the dummying down of our educational system...
  23. Well...since they did invent playing cards... Oh....and before there even was a place in the dessert called "the" Vegas which in Spanish is Las Vegas... With this little gadget You dont read Chinese? BTW: Im keeping this STRICTLY DIRECT NORTH AMERICAN CHINESE INFLUENCES... BEGAT Is this OK with you? Because the very essence of our North American existence is DIRECTLY related to the Chinese...
