    The only Challenger I see where AWD would be beneficial would be the SRT 8 versions ESPECIALLY the Hellcat. But alas, I dont think AWD will be offered for those. Sure its a no big deal add on as the Charger and 300 have this and I applaud this move ONLY because it MIGHT make pony car guys think about how the pony car segment COULD evolve to to spice things up performance wise vis-a-vis the competitor German sport coupe cars that have AWD... Or maybe not. Alls I know about a Hellcat is that its got insane power and its hard to get that power to the ground effectively. I LOVE me that Hellcat power. But AWD would do it some good. Mind you, a new svelte platform would also benefit a Hellcat. AWD on a Challenger? Call it boring for me.... A 300C also had it a DECADE ago... BIG DEAL!!! GIVE ME A BRAND NEW CHALLENGER INSTEAD!!! I STILL LOVE THIS HELLCAT THOUGH!!! BUT I WANT A NEW PLATFORMED CHALLENGER HELLCAT EVEN MORE!!!

    Ya sure about that? VeeDub sure made caca out of certain things in dat pool! Seriously though: The Golf GTI is one incredible machine. The only reason why I cant see myself in one is because back in the day in my 20s, some of my friends at that point in time drove Golf GTIs. VR6s. Corrados too with that same engine. I made fun of them since I was an American gung ho car guy with the pony car scene. Yeah, they in turn made fun of me for V8s and all....This was the 1990s when the Tuner car craze was hot. In other words, I cant bring myself to own cars I made fun of back then...

    I heard Axl sing replacing Brian Johnson of AC DC....not that great, but then again, he aint AC DC, he is GnR. One of the best Rock voices ever this Axl guy had. GnR, I HATE them, but strangely enough, I have BOUGHT and LISTENED to for HOURS EVERY SINGLE album they made before breaking up. Yes. Even the Spaghetti Incident. Timeless rock songs some songs of theirs are.     Montreal higher ups were humbled by that little video that went viral. They said a fast and flukey occurance of black ice formed sooooo quickly that they did not have the time to react to that particular street. The mayor said that the salt trucks were on the roads full force BEFORE the roosters were even awake. Well. No Montrealer bought that load of BS... Hoperfully in your neck of the woods, the people that run your town are not as um...complacent as our higher ups... On top of that...barely 3 inches of snow fell on Monday in some parts, and by the next morning...it all melted away. Sure...when it did fall...it fell...hard, but in no way at blizzard pace. And Montreal gets blizzards...like often. .so its not as if we are not used to this. We got caught with our pants down. We should own up to that....

    I met the man in December 1997 or January 1998 when he first walked into my restaurant and ordered a hot dog for the very first time. Just 1 hot dog. He had a craving for one. I asked him, "wow....you drive your Porsche in the winter?" (those exact same words) He said, with a certain proud and assertive and confident voice, "YES! I just got it for the winter. You know, this car comes in AWD. Not because its winter in Quebec life has to stop!" I just smiled at him and said....cool. He comes in from time to time...orders just 1 hot dog. And goes on his merry way. His Porsche, its surprisingly in good condition. I havent seen one rust spot. Probably because the car is aluminium? Its 11 years old already. We chit chat but I have never asked him recently how his car is doing, because he still drives it....in the winter...and is obviously in good working order... He has a convertible 2006 Mustang GT with all kinds of Ford Racing shyte on it. Roll bars, wide tires. Enhanced engine upgrades.Shelby Cobra decals all over the place but it is not an official Cobra car. That is his baby that he drove in the summer when the sun is shining. Now his son drives that one most of the time. He has a Mercedes S Class that he got a couple of years ago. He had a 2010 CLS before that S Class. His wife drives an Audi Q whatever number it is. The big SUV form Audi. EDIT: I cant count for nothing. I said 11 years. SHYTE...20 years...its 20 years old... WOW!!!! TIME PHOQUING FLIES!!! Our restaurant is 20 years old this year. We opened it up in November of 1996. My partner and I both forgot... This post just reminded me... We have to throw a big Christmas Party for the staff this year. We always have one but its always a small humble thing. We have to throw a big bash this year!

    That is how Montreal OFFICIALLY kicked off the holiday season today. I am lucky for not getting myself into this kind of predicament. Knock on wood. wow and cool. On both accounts. On you being a mover and a shaker buying and selling and getting yourself into all kinds of cars never keeping it stale. And for the dude for going from a Flying Spur summer car to a VeeDub winter car. I had a customer that drove, and still does, a late 1997 Turbo 911 for the winter.

    And of course the Big Man makes a negative down... WHY? Because a Chevy Trax, BMW X1/X3, Honda CRV, Nissan Rogue and the like are NOT CUVs?     Problem is: and most of these arent capable to haul traliers and boats... Then there are these: where these are all show and no go for hauling trailers and boats... SHYTE....even the ones that are meant to haul boats and trailers: MOST OF THOSE GO TO SOCCER MOMS WHO HAUL THEIR PRECIOUS LITTLE BRATS TO SCHOOL AND THEN THESE SOCCER MOMS GO TO THE STARBUCKS TO DRINK THEIR LATTES WAITING FOR THE LOVER TO CHEAT ON THEIR HUSBANDS!!! Again Wings, EXCUSES EXCUSES IS WHAT YOU SPEW! Oh yes you did... I quoted you! This is the one...where Drew removed the content.... The FIRST in a series of which I engaged in also to that post...     The physics is there. One needs to break ground. Rome was not built in a day, but you have to start somewhere. Europe is taking a first step. Tesla too. But in America we are waiting for Tesla to do it all on their own but laugh when we see they are losing money and cheer for their demise. The science is definitely there!!! Funny..as Michigan is preventing Tesla in selling its cars directly to its customers.... Your thought process is only justified when it suits YOUR agendas..but not when its the other way around...

    Not in Europe Ford and GM are not taking a slow and conservative approach... Hell..Europeans are not either.... There is NO REASON for America and Americans to be slow.... Elon Musk's Tesla is HEADQUARTERED IN THE USA and TESLA BUILT ITS OWN EV INFRASTRUCTURE 5 YEARS IN THE MAKING ALREADY!!! EXCUSES EXCUSES IS ALL I HEAR!

    Blanket statement as ALL NEW TECHNOLOGIES are restrictive and costly... What @A Horse With No Name had as a blanket statement regarding America of the 1950s and 1960s is more to my liking... Your Feta being spoiled: Yes its true: Ford and GM are spending money on EVs....but the REAL CHANGE is HAPPENING in Europe according to the OP... In YOUR country...the USA....there are DETRACTORS singing a great tune of making America great again....yet GM in YOUR country, is BLOCKING Tesla in selling directly to its customer base and people like YOU defend that! People like YOU ELECTED Trump and one of Trump's promises is to redirect monies into the fossil fuel business...no mention of an elaborate EV infrastructure like what is gonna happen in Euroland... So....you could take the easy way out and say to me I focus on you, but in reality, I just keep on plugging the same message: All YOU give me is excuses. ACTIONS or in the US' case....INACTIONS speak louder than words!

    I dont know why the detractors are sooooo negative about this whole thing. All @ocnblu has to say is that some of us are dreamers...yet the irony is that some far off lands are making that dream come true. Making his statement false and at the same time making that statement about him being a dreamer.... How? Well, if a dream is worked hard at to become a reality, it aint a dream anymore, its reality... And if a detractor like @ocnblu is soooooo not wanting to change and THAT is his dream so things stay the same, but they wont, and all signs point that EVs ARE the future, then in turn HE becomes the dreamer... Its quite deep! This man dreamt a little dream, and he too had detractors. They called him a dreamer...

    It aint... Its about YOUR inability to accept change and YOU trying to DETRACT with lame excuses.. Archimedes is Greek. So are you. Archimedes was ballsy. YOU are not. GIVE ME A PLACE TO STAND AND A LEVER LONG ENOUGH AND I WILL MOVE THE WORLD! There is a message there for YOU to decipher. Dont cry about it. Argue like how we Greeks argue. With logic. Logic. A Greek word AND thought process... The American people that have your thought process have lost that pioneering spirit they once had. Like Mr. Horse said, people like you want the future, but dont want to work at it... An infrastructure NEEDS to be put into place.... When the horseless carriage was first made in the late 1880s and continued on into the 1900s, there was no infrastructure for it. THAT did not matter as humans at THAT point in time still lived like Archimedes lived... Today though, the automobile and the computer has altered our lives a lot. If an electric infrastructure is NEVER to be put into place, the EV will NEVER take flight as too many people like yourself who have hidden biases AGAINST the EV will ALWAYS detract with FALSEHOODS... This argument AINT about YOU personally. But it IS about YOUR blatant LIES!!! Stop lying!
