Nothing like dumping out the trash every so often. Make a speedy recovery and move forward, leaving the little turd in the past! Ive done this two times already. The last time this past year. My dad died from colon cancer 9 years ago this November and my mom was diagnosed with it (on time and cured) 2 months after my dad died... So yeah...that is definitely on my mind... You gotta do what you gotta do to stay alive. So...keep staying alive. No...no disco song will be posted. But Im tempted to...

Yeah, I can't believe it either. Oh you weren't talking about the U.S. Congress. Sometimes those two entities go hand in hand. The difference though between the US Congress and big greedy multi-national corporations are is that US citizens VOTE the greedy bastiges in every 2 years, and although I know this is a joke, and a funny one at that, it boggles my mind how we as a free people who get to vote in our elected officials still complain how crappy they are... HEY! ITS OUR VOICE that we are bitchin' about...WHY DONT WE DO SOMRTHING ABOUT IT instead of crying and moaning how awful they are!!! But...we cant be bothered with little details like that...to get involved with our community politics...to vote in the right people and to hold accountable the bad apples... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Congress_and_citizens Wiki quote from link above: United States Congress and citizens describes the relation between the public and lawmakers. Essentially, American citizens elect members of Congress every two years who have the duty to represent their interests in the national legislature of the United States. Who has the time to actually do research and to vote in the right people for the job? Who has the time to actually run for office and change the way things are and to do the right thing? Its only a democracy after all!!!

Chevrolet News:Spying: Looking Inside the Chevrolet Bolt
oldshurst442 replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
I will like to see a Chevy Trax kinda vehicle with this technology next from Chevrolet/GM Then gradually step up to a larger CUV/SUV to Equinox levels...because, as it seems, CUVs/SUVs are the next bread and butter vehicles. The Tesla Model X...Elon, thinks that this is the next step for electrics, heck, even BMW thinks that also with the i3, so I think Chevy's/GM's gamble on a CUV/SUV might not be that far fetched. -
quite interesting. Im curious to know how the system works to get the oil back on top of the engine in the cartridge? Because, if Im not mistaken, gravity is what makes the oil flow outta the car the 'ol fashioned way of oil changes, right? I guess dry sump oil lubrication technology is involved. Its cool non the less. Are car companies gonna agree with a standard cartridge? Are all Chevys gonna use the same type of cartridge? OK...maybe the needs of a Corvette may be different from a Volt, which maybe different from a Malibu, but does that mean, like the printers we have today, an abundance of different types of cartridges between the same brand models within the same brand and many more types when other brands are concerned with their many models? And what happens to the billion dollar industry that is the bread and butter money of dealerships and small garages? Because THIS obviously facilitates do it yourself-er work. I guess the good 'ol days maybe coming back for certain things, but in 2015 when dealerships rely on servicing cars to stay afloat, I see many other areas that will increase in price. Anyway. This is a pretty neat and nifty invention.

You know BLU... I have ALWAYS loved the colonnade body style. But NOT the 1973 Grand Prix. The 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass or better yet, in 442 and in Hurst trims, especially in Hurst trims Then comes the 1973 Monte Carlo I love those flared front fenders and rear quarter panels 1973 Pontiac Grand Am 455 This is just plain sick!

Yeah, plenty of time. 81 games to be precise. Problem is, in my opinion, is that the Bruins dont have the offensive depth, nor the defensive depth, heck, not even the goalie depth to make the playoffs. They dont even have enough cap space to correct all three areas. Maybe one area. But the Bruins are lacking in all three. And although its 1 game in, in an 82 game season and as early as beginning the of October, Im afraid come April, we will have witnessed many 6-2 blowouts...

I must admit...I laughed hard on this one "Even a blind pig finds the odd truffle."

And Ill throw in a Custom Hot Rod '56 Chevy while we're at it! Out of the Tri-Five Chevys, a '56 is my least favorite...while the other two bounce around and change place for my favorite...however, this one impresses me a lot!

Chrysler Turbine. I was gonna eventually post this one...you beat me to it! OK...I see your Turbine and raise you Custom Cadillacs!

Ive got another one... Life is too short and you cant take it with you...therefore Money is made to be spent, food meant to be ate, wine meant to be drank and life is made to live, so enjoy it. Just dont tell her we discussed this this way, because you might be spending the money all alone...and quite possibly, wont be able to be spending it 'cause you'll be giving it all to her in alimony cheques...so she'll be getting to spend it...not you! Happy Wife, Happy Life.

That would be my aftershock reaction realizing that the Bruins are no longer Big nor Bad.... Teddy Bears yup...Teddy Bears... By golly though...they are MY Teddy Bears no matter what kind of season they have... They are my Teddy Bears...I dont want them to be My Tigers....because Tigers are waaaaaay to ruff, I dont want them to be my Lions, because Lions are not the kind you love too much...
-
I clicked on the Bruins web site just now to see the score and this was my reaction: *SIGH* Its gonna be a LOOOOOONG season...
-
GO BLUES!!! The Jets are playing th Bruins tonight and I have no idea what the score is. I came home late from work and to tell you the truth...Im not so hot on the Bruins this year. Im willing to bet that the Bruins are gonna lose tonight....an thegame n=must be almost over by now...like I said, I have no idea what the score is.

Wings against the Leafs? Its a DEFINITE GO DETROIT!!! The Leafs lost to the Habs yesterday... Saturday its the Bruins versus the Habs!!! I cant wait for THAT game.

Yup...fall has arrived... NFL, NHL and MLB playoffs have started....I LOVE this time of year...not quite as much as I love summer...but close. and it only gets better... Canadian Thanksgiving, Halloween (not that I like Halloween per se, its all those wonderful autumn colours and the countdown to XMAS that I love)...American Thanksgiving and Macy's Parade, XMAS and New Year's...and then its all down hill!!! With the exemption of the Super Bowl...but then again...the Super Bowl as of late have been all duds...so...yeah...the down hill continues... Until the NHL playoffs start...and THAT is when Summer is near again...because I hate Spring...I prefer the winter... I HATE the month of March. Even though my birthday is in March...the only thing I love about the Spring is Greek Easter. And Cabane A Sucre...Maple Syrup season.

Well...the French... The hockey team that was created for the French, but the French never took to them because they knew that it was a blatant cash grab when there were perfectly other Montreal based French hockey teams around and when the team's first hockey star was an Anglo by the name of Howie Morenz...to boot, the home arena was moved to the very Anglo Forum where the very Anglo Maroons played and the only way that the French took to the team was when the team won a couple of those Stanley Cups...just won their first game of the season against a team that I actually hate more than that French oriented team in Montreal... But this year is special...before ANYBODY says Im joining the Habs bandwagon...Im cheering for them...solely because my home team needs to bring back the Stanley Cup to my home city...my city needs this....just because we need to feel good about oursleves again... We are about to dump millions of gallons of waste in the Ste. Lawrence River and even New York State is peeved at us...so...please...that is 1 victory closer to the the city's countless amount...but the Hab's 25th... Its sweet that the Hab's 1st victory on their 1st game came at Toronto's expense... Big game Saturday though...The Bruins are next!!!

Well...then my beef aint with you then, so if I made it seem like Im poitning this rant at you...sorry...it aint you, babe. It aint you that Im looking for.

Then dont downvote if you think the downvote is NOT warranted... Its only disruptive if both sides are going at it with trolling each other... You don't. Then the terrorists win. According to some...I may be a terrorist. BTW...thanx Drew...I could read between the lines. And not just THE troll....many around from both forums that have clashed in here and the battleground where the war is being fought it seems is over the downvoting system... ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************* My beef is NOT like the others....mine is actually the idea of downvoting very valid opinions that are even fact related... Which is cool....like I keep on saying...however...its mind blowing that even an expression of an opinion gets downvoted... Again...like with my post on top...its just MY opinion....someone has to downvote it? Just read it. Either respond to it or move the phoque on!!! Downvote it...but respond to it at least... Why dont someone want to respond to it but just downvote it? The fear of being exposed? That is the thing...the person that has been downvoted ACTUALLY EXPOSED HIMSELF TO CRITICISM...and a guy like me...IS OPEN AND ACCEPTS CRITICISM...AND MORE TO IT THAN THAT...EXPECTS CRITICISM!!! On top of all that... Well...I dont like that person's action....why can't I downvote his actions? His actions are obviously just as an equal amount of disapproval as his disapproval of my opinion he does not like... And THAT is just CHILDISH behaviour...the downvoting of opinions without explanations... Its one thing to downvote a BLATANT stupid remark...its another to downvote an opinion just because you dont agree with it...and THAT gets my goat... And no...I dont feel like I accomplished something just by riling somebody... If any of you have actually read what I write...I ALWAYS post either links or pics or videos on my facts and how I get to the conclusions to base my opinions on... You ALWAYS know or get the feel of how my thought process works... Right or wrong or indifferent...my thought process is always shown to you by me...and if my thought process irritates you...cool...downvote away... But at least give me and SHOW me YOUR thought process so I could at least criticize and scrutinze you...and maybe have the opportunity to downvote you...but then again...the people that downvote and DONT expose themsleves are the ones that cherish their reputations the most... Which is why I get mad even more... Because I ACTUALLY SHOW YOU HOW I THINK...with FACTS...and the last couple of days...FACTS that I gathered even got downvoted...FACTS... When people are close minded or just plain trolls, THAT is what ruins the forums and/or the voting system...
