  1. THANK YOU! I think you and @balthazar are the only ones that seem to understand this.
  2. It isn't about cannibalizing sales. It was about saving money. https://www.motortrend.com/news/new-cadillac-escalade-ct5-v-no-blackwing-v8/ It's amazing how far those two companies have come(Hyundai/Kia). It says a lot coming from somebody who drives as many things as you do.
  3. I can almost guarantee nobody representing Hyundai has ever publicly stated they are emulating anything Cadillac, and there's no reason to do so. Cadillac is making less and less competitive vehicles and Hyundai and Genesis are quickly rising. I don't believe they have an XT7 coming until I see it. It's been said they're trying to cut costs over at Cadillac and that's why the XT6 is on a FWD platform instead of Omega, like it was originally planned. That's also why the CT5-V isn't getting the new 4.2, nor Escalade.
  4. Go and do a little research on the site. You'll find out how much we're sidekicks. Regardless, it's pathetic any Cadillac is even being compared to a Hyundai, not even a Genesis.
  5. Well, I'm comparing similarly sized vehicles in an overlapping class. And yeah, more often than not, @surreal1272 and myself are disagreeing on things... We're as much sidekicks as the Yankees and Red Sox. I guess a common .. uhh .. thing .. can unite anybody.
  6. @Drew Dowdell Palisade or XT6? The XT6 is most certainly a signature Cadillac, FWD Chevy at the heart of it.
  7. It all comes down to traction and a dually F350 will weigh more with more traction. Both make plenty of torque. An 8500lb F350 would toss around the lighter Cybertruck. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a15105555/2015-ford-f-350-super-duty-v-8-diesel-4x4-test-review/
  8. 410 miles is a long range, especially considering it is an SUV and not a car.
  9. I think they're in a couple of things now, maybe Malibu and Cruze with their 1.5T's.
  10. Oh I've complained about it elsewhere how a 1.2 + CVT sounds like the worst possible scenario on the market.
  11. bUt ThEy oNlY mAkE cArS
  12. This is a neat thing here. I knew they needed to be on a fixed panel but I've never seen this workaround for that.
  13. You mean... exactly like Rivian in which you are in full support of?
  14. Tesla also has more range, payload, towing capacity, approach angle, more seats, and higher ground clearance. Not just a bigger bed.
  15. The Navigator is also considerably larger than a GLS. In short form, the Lincoln is 5 inches longer, 9 inches wider, and almost 5 inches taller. In long form, it's 17 inches longer. https://www.motortrend.com/news/auto-showdown-2020-mercedes-benz-gls-vs-2019-lincoln-navigator-comparison/
  16. The cladding is most certainly too much. If they cut it down by 30-50% it would look much cleaner/better.
  17. Yeah, those two really are head and shoulders above the field.
  18. I think that looks really good but I like the looks of this more.
  19. This... This is one ugly truck.
  20. That's probably the best looking sub-compact SUV.
  21. I understand that. But, he isn't anti-GM.
  22. ...@surreal1272 isn't anti-GM by any means...
  23. I don't see copying.
  24. I'm definitely in the minority here. I think the grille could be about 10-15% smaller but the rest just looks really classy. I'd drive one of these.
  25. That new, little Trailblazer is hands-down the best looking sub-compact SUV, in my opinion. The pair of 3-cylinder engines is subject to questioning but I think they look really sharp for its respective segment.
