  1. Oh no sh!t?? I genuinely thought it was only in the Sport. Good to know. Okay, also good to know. I didn't really think they were done as the sales numbers still seemed fairly strong and those would diminish more if the supply was limited.
  2. Ford's was only in the Fusion Sport... I think that started at like 34k, when it was still around. Actually, I don't know if they're still making them or if they're done yet. @Drew Dowdell, are they done making the Fusion? The one downside i see to this, from Toyota's point of view, is this will be stealing some sales from the RAV4 or Highlander now. This is probably why companies have held off for so long in offering AWD in their sedans, they sell AWD CUVs with better margins.

  4. Oh yeah, I didn't think about that. If it was pulled from the RAV4, it probably isn't rated for the output of the V6.

  11. I think Rivian is the one trying to steal mojo, not the other way around. Tesla has a foothold in the industry. Rivian hasn't sold a single production-grade/registerable vehicle yet.
  12. What two mid-size sedans can you NOT pull design cues from and say they look similar? Everything has the same general shape. The Camry might be the lone shark that's pretty unique and hasn't gained the "coupe" body style. Those genuinely do not look very similar outside of general shape. One has a bumper out front, the other has the grille, the lights are placed differently and shaped differently, the side "vents" are shaped completely different(one is more horizontal rectangle and the other is vertical and "pointier"). One mirror is on a door, the other on the body.

  15. Oh I don't think it is sustainable at all. Once people start to default on these 84/96 month loans and sales start to drop, because it feels inevitable, they'll be forced to extend model years. We could only hope that prices would hold steady for some time as well in doing that.
  16. Agreed. I firmly believe this is a big reason prices have jumped so high in the last 15 years or so. They are amortizing the billions of investment over only a handful of years instead of a decade and they need to recoup ASAP because of it.

  20. The e-Golf is a joke.. it's a compliance car like the Focus Electric was.. This makes be really wonder what Ford's new Mach-E will be priced at. I think I'd heard like 340 miles of range..? Rumor is 40k... but that seems optimistic or a very basic trim with a smaller battery.

  25. I call bullsh!t on anybody saying magazines are biased toward sponsorship. Maybe I'm ignorant but I believe there are too many writers/editors who have enough pride and respect in their work to just write something they don't believe in.
