  1. They just need to stop making yearly or biyearly changes(Ford as well). Let costs get amortized out and actually have the cars paid off so you have a lesser cost per vehicle and you could charge less and get more people into them again. Nearly 35k for a Mustang GT/Camaro SS...sucks. They don't need to barely one-up each other every other year. They're fantastic cars already. Let them "mature" a bit and just do basic paint and wheel changes every year and then some tweaks where necessary..NECESSARY(faulty design, bad hardware, etc.). Instead of 3 year mid-cycle refresh, that should be 5 years and 10 for a clean sheet design.
  2. http://gmauthority.com/blog/2019/06/report-there-will-be-no-seventh-generation-chevrolet-camaro/
  3. Well, something came out today that it is a "delay" or "pushed back" and not canceled.
  4. MB is getting rid of the slow selling SLC, right? Or SLK, whatever the fck it's called... The small sh!tty convertible.
  5. Well, they're not there/here yet so there's reason to bring it up.
  6. Ford will bring back the 2005-2009 Mustang, exactly. They'll bring back the 3v 4.6 5spd and everything and laugh in people's faces.
  7. Name a coupe that any adult human could sit behind you... And none of that "GLE Coupe" or "X6 Coupe" crap.
  8. I don't think slogans come from customer perception.. There is nothing wrong with the slogan itself, it's the products following it. The most recent product that followed the release of their new slogan was the Chevy Traverse, sorry, XT6.
  9. Ironic is that Cadillac's is " Rise Above ". Above, below, what's the difference?
  10. This is exactly the first thing I thought of as well.
  11. Is it really universal if there are three different ones? Both of which have been pretty successful in their EV sales in Nissan and Tesla..
  12. That and to get a good universal plug going instead of each company having their own.
  13. Not only do you get almost 30%(16mpg vs 22mpg) better fuel economy in the GLE, I would wager money that it's quicker than grampy's mobile. If you so choose(because there's an option) the GLE450 you get 21mpg combined. That's what is called a "Win, Win".
  14. That 4.6 that makes 301hp also requires 91 octane. What a joke of a vehicle. Do you want horsepower?!? Do you want torque?!? Do you want remotely "okay" fuel economy?!? YOU GET NONE OF THOSE AND YOU GET THE LUXURY OF PAYING AN EXTRA $0.60/GALLON, TOO!
  15. I guess everything new they're pumping out must be unreliable.. Lexus/Toyota couldn't possibly make a replacement as reliable.
  16. I'm pretty sure that stuff can be disabled without any fuse removal.. At least they can on my MKC.. I'd only assume everybody would make that stuff disable-able..
  17. People buying them obviously don't care just like GX owners don't care about anything about their vehicle, just reliability, apparently.
  18. It is a "pretty dang good" off-roader. It is difficult to say it is a real off-roader when it is missing a locking rear diff(even the 4Runner TRD Pro and Land Cruiser are missing one...). There is no doubt they are a very good platform to build off of for off-roading. I've actually been following TFL and they're TRD Pro-ing a Land Cruiser. The guys can be annoying but I enjoy most of their content...
  19. Such hypocrites.. Everybody here will ask for more power from a V8 that only puts out 300 ponies until that works for your personal narrative against smk. Everybody knows the combo of V8 + 300hp + 15/18mpg is dated as all hell. Those are literally pre-recession kind of numbers. It only has 64.7 cubic of space behind the driver.. A Chevy Equinox has 63.5 cubic feet of volume behind the driver's row. It better be reliable because it does literally nothing else very well or even adequate for the price they're selling for.
  20. That's one thing that gets looked past with cars that have functional rear wings that create actual down force.. You have to be getting after it for any benefit. At regular speeds and even interstate speeds there's little to no benefit. Your real down force occurs past 100mph but then again even a minimal amount is helpful when on a track.
  21. I don't think I've seen a 4-banger CUV with drilled and/or slotted rotors save for maybe things like a Mecan.
  22. I'm sorry, Sweetie. Please forgive me. To quote the great surreal1272, " Don't tell me what to do." Sure do.
  23. You have actual specific evidence that the owners were flushing transmissions, replacing shocks and struts, flushing cooling system, every 50k... like it is in those old manuals? Then not last 100k miles? I'm sorry but it is impossible to believe that.
