If I'm being honest, I also expected when the automotive giants(any brand whose been around for 50+ years) put out some EV competition for Tesla, I thought they'd stomp them. I figured they had the money and experience and know-how to just make a better vehicle. Now, that's not to say their build quality won't stomp Tesla's as we've all heard about their sub-standard QC..

The profile is absolutely beautiful but that grille is so unbelievably awful. This is outstanding.

I get that, I've done that before. I don't/won't understand leaving them on the desk and not throwing them away though...

My desk isn't spotless but I can't let it get cluttered with useless stuff like THE PREVIOUS DAY(S) CALENDAR DATES!

You don't know why they are in the area. They could be perfectly convenient for them to charge up 45 minutes while eating or shopping.

"Isn't in the spirit" sounds like a way to just be grumpy about it. It's there. It's paid for. There is no reason not to use them, as long as it's still convenient to the user. Once it isn't convenient, I see no point in it. It doesn't really matter when it costs at home. If Tesla didn't package their supercharger network into the price of their cars...I would get it more. It is there to facilitate long distance traveling but all of the ones you see Teslas hoarded around are ones "around town".

You make it sound like they didn't already pay for the service up front... While annoying, I get it. They paid for that. Why pay two times for charging?

Even worse.. 10 years newer and it has a smaller battery, less range, and weighs more.

Good point.. The Taycan is a whole 0.3in shorter and 0.1in wider. Maybe they should have sacrificed the 0.3in for more range.

Shouldn't a car 10 years newer be the most advanced tech and not behind the 10 year old car?

That's one hell of a premium but I do agree.

Isn't this also much more expensive than a Model S along with much less range? Those are two pretty big disadvantages of the Taycan.
