Industry News: Trump's Tariff Threat Turned Out To Be A Farce
ccap41 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Industry News
Just for the record, I'm not saying it doesn't need to be cut back. I was just stating it isn't easy to just flip a switch and have all of those people out of jobs(I know it wouldn't be a 100% job cut). -
Industry News: Trump's Tariff Threat Turned Out To Be A Farce

I know but my point is it is easier said than done. The military employs millions of people and we can't just cut all of those jobs with nowhere for them to go. I agree and disagree at the same time. No. ? -

..a urine battery would be perfect. Bring a case of beer in your autonomous vehicle and just refill the tank as you get slammed up front! -
Industry News: Trump's Tariff Threat Turned Out To Be A Farce

Comments like these are why we cannot talk politics. People take things personal.. real quick. Our unbalanced budget seems so out of control I don't even know how we get it in line.. It seems like a perfect and extremely obvious idea but I, personally, have no clue how it gets fixed. -

GMC News: Syclone returns for Limited run in 2019

Yeah.. At that price it could probably be done much cheaper paying a high end, reputable shop. I do get that you're buying a warranty with things like this though. -

Mercedez Benz News Mercedes Introduces the new GLB

Luckily, the third row folds flat so it's only another option for the user. Nobody wants to drive a minivan, don't kid yourself.- 72 replies

Mercedez Benz News Mercedes Introduces the new GLB

Also, just having an Escalade will get each human a considerable amount more room than a GLB.. pretty obvious but I feel like I should state I do acknowledge that. Maybe one day I will be comfortable driving something that large but as of now I would absolutely hate having something that massive. I understand their purpose and why people do like them but I would hate it so much, at this point in my life.- 72 replies

Mercedez Benz News Mercedes Introduces the new GLB
ccap41 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Mercedes-Benz
Aaaaand that is why I(and others) have stated that this isn't for a family that takes up the 3rd row on a regular basis. FWIW, the non-ESV Escalade really doesn't have a whole lot of space behind the 3rd row seat either. A family of 5 likely couldn't fit all of them and their luggage for a week long road trip either.. and that's considerably larger than a GLB(or GLC or GLE, and even the GLS).- 72 replies

Mercedez Benz News Mercedes Introduces the new GLB

Hahaha well in all fairness.. that starts at twice the price the GLB is supposed to start around.. (estimated to start between the GLA and GLC which start at 35,000 and 40,000 and the ESV starts at 78k)- 72 replies

Mercedez Benz News Mercedes Introduces the new GLB
ccap41 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Mercedes-Benz
Sorry, I thought it was clear but it obviously was not. Your kids' friend or two. No, I did not miss the mark. I still don't think anybody buying this is buying it for a family with 3+ kids where they will need the seats AND the maximum hatch space all at the same time to maximize capacity.- 72 replies

Mercedez Benz News Mercedes Introduces the new GLB

I don't think it's a gimmick. If you're ordering that you know there will be occasions where it'll come in handy and you don't feel like buying and driving the next size vehicle up. I can't see anybody buying that expecting to use it on a regular basis but if you have young kids and know there will be times where you have to move a friend or two, this would be completely fine. Plus, it folds flat so you're really not losing any space. Size-wise, it is similar to a Tiguan which also offers a 3rd row of seats, fwiw.- 72 replies

Plus, it's optional so they don't need to equip their vehicle with the 3rd row.- 72 replies
