  1. Everything has more torque than the GM n/a 3.6...
  2. Yeah, this is a mid-size truck weighing on the light side of the half tons. I think I read a test where one weighed nearly 5200lbs. The 3.6 is a turd in that situation. The 5.7 would be a gem.
  3. You're just assuming my tone the same way you assumed the engineers did this "knowingly". I legitimately do not think you know what an opinion is.
  4. Hahaha, okay,.. I'll be certain to ask for your permission from here on out to post my opinion on a subject.
  5. What more do you need for an opinion? An opinion is just that, an opinion. I'm not stating fact or claiming to do so.
  6. He really doesn't let anything go, does he? 24 hours later and he's still talking about me. ??‍♂️
  7. I don't necessarily think they are perfect but they do always tend to sound pretty great.
  8. Yes, I am and was last year as well.
  9. Definitely agree to disagree and I think the application make a huge difference to me. A strictly track-like toy is a fantastic place for a high revving engine as you rarely spend any time in the bottom of the rev range anyway but if it was a daily driver or just a cruiser, I would absolutely prefer the low end of a push rod or larger displacement engine. Also, too much instant torque can overwhelm the tires pulling out of a corner. A high revver with little bottom end actually has an advantage doing certain things.
  10. I don't think I've ever heard somebody dislike the flat plane crank V8 of a Ferrari. But, if there was going to be one it would of course come from a full on EV fanboy... ironically driving two of the least efficient vehicles on the road...
  11. I ended up with more cash in my pocket after 2018. More per paycheck and end of year taxes were a little more than last year, federally. Now my state taxes have gone up. Overall, there was more money brought home than taxed.
  12. That is what I was getting at and also when the ignition switch was brought up I had never heard that was any form of cost cutting, it was just a miscalculation that nobody foresaw, nothing intentional but losing the lawsuits must have shown negligence somewhere along the lines.
  13. I'm done here. I'm not playing into your paragraph game of over-wordy-ness. I said my part, my opinion. That is all that's needed.
  14. I already answered this. I'm not going to just repeat the same thing over and over and over and over again. I asked a question because you called them out for knowingly making a faulty system. I said I won't accept that they made this faulty on purpose until it has been proven factual. News flash, same thing happens in the car industry. The EPA doesn't test every single new vehicle.
  15. I know exactly what you're talking about @dfelt, I'm currently in a business ethics class where we've gone into detail about the Ford Pinto. I still cannot and will not believe until it is fact that they knowingly engineered it to have such a fatal error. Ain't nobody got time to respond to paragraphs written like that.
  16. I cannot imagine an engineer KNOWINGLY allowed such a fatal error. They would know there would be deaths on their hands.
  17. Do you know this as fact or are you assuming? If they knowingly did this, they are in some deep sh!t.
  18. I think some are forgetting what vehicles GM actually produces in Mexico. https://www.motortrend.com/news/30-cars-affected-trump-close-border-mexico/
  19. Yeah, I assume it would get a similar upgrade as the PP or PP2 got, like the 1LE Camaros.
  20. Not necessarily. It isn't like the 2.3 is currently well known for being able to throw massive power at it now even in its 350hp version.
  21. Hmmmm I would certainly hope they beef up the internals so it could handle a ton of hp with a stock block/crank/pistons.
  22. Does that mean people are tiring of Cadillac, too? Every one of their vehicles was down.
