  1. Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the newest one.. Pretty sad because they truly created this segment and now it looks worse than the Audi 7 and BMW 6.
  2. It doesn't do it for me like the CLS has. The only other one to pull it off, IMO, is the Audi 7's. Completely agree. I actually just looked at Autotrader for them to see what they cost and you're still spending the better part of 20k for a pretty high mileage German car.. Not a situation I would like to be in for that amount of cash.
  3. There aren't a whole lot of vehicles where I prefer the older generations but the CLS looks best in its first generation, then second and the newest seems to be less CLS-like to me. ..I think there are only three generations..lol I don't know a whole lot about the technical stuff but I would assume they lowered and fattened the torque curve as well along with reduced lag. It's probably a blast to daily drive with those numbers.
  4. This is how you do the coupe styling on a sedan.
  5. When you look at "cars" what is listed there? It isn't the Bolt either.. You just two keep reinforcing that this is a mix match of neither true car nor CUV... I'm interested to see this thing with the 3.0TT. Nearly diesel-like hp/tq ratio.
  6. YES. It has that coupe-like look to it but the proportions are just slightly off on the rear.
  7. That color is amazing. I've been into dark "colors" a lot lately. Dark reds/blues/greens are towards the top of my lists right now.
  8. That has nothing to do with it being a car vs CUV. I think there being this kind of debate over it being a car or a CUV is EXACTLY what the rest of us have been saying. It's styling is of a hybrid car/cuv. It's ugly for that reason, imo. It doesn't look car enough to be a car and it doesn't look CUV enough to be a CUV. It's just an ugly middle ground.
  9. Hasn't Toyota towed a plane with their Tundra before? Like in 2013... Oh sorry it was a space shuttle weighing 292,000lbs. Up your game Tesla.
  10. What kind of improvement in phone batteries will that bring? Could it take my one charge per day(overnight) to one charge per two days? That would be pretty amazing. Since I got my XR, I have only used my phone so much throughout a single day that I felt the need to charge it before bed once. It will easily last 24hrs before getting under 20%. I stretched it to 28hrs once to see about how long it'll go on a charge and I think that was around 5% battery remaining.
  11. That would be perfect and then when I get there I'd have to figure out a charging situation as well, which would likely be awkward. I just looked and it's 340 miles, my trip to visit my sister and brother. Also, isn't Electrify America the company formed by VW that is required to build charging stations from their emissions fck up?
  12. Like @Drew Dowdell has pointed out, I don't drive enough to even need to charge daily. I'd say a good 90% of my driving is trips under 10 miles round trip. I wouldn't need to charge out and about. It would cost more and wouldn't be necessary. My only issue is decreased winter range and visiting family 5.5 hours away. Yup. For the size of vehicle you're getting, they're priced way up there. Once they are comparably priced to their ICE siblings, things will change rapidly.
  13. This looks great. It also looks like it is at a location within the parking garage that isn't taking up any parking spaces, wasted space. Good locations like this are key to all parties.
  14. There are solid state batteries ready for the market? Who's using them first? What're they going in? After a smallish sedan, that size should have been next. I feel like there is no reason there shouldn't be more of those out already instead of funky styling and odd sizing in the Bolt.
  15. 100% agree. I don't understand why companies try and force EVs to have a funky look to them.
  16. It's not wrong though! ?
  17. GM steps out and Ford steps in. What a conundrum for Dfelt.
  18. There it is. Somebody else gets it. The trucks have grown and to keep proportions looking right they have massive wheel wells which make the 17" wheels look smaller than they really are.
  19. My mistake, the 4.3 is quicker than I thought. Well, it makes more power, torque, and gets better fuel economy and it's matched to a 10spd transmission instead of the old 6 spd.
  20. I get my gasoline from the renewable gas stations. No worries here.
  21. Yeah, that seems like a pretty normal thing.
  22. "You have to show a real picture of the auto with the vin number"
  23. Fck, I'm glad I don't live in that state. I can't imagine how the rest of your laws are as well. I have never seen a VIN listed in an advertisement. Actually, I'd like to see one of these ads with a VIN on it advertising for only that specific vehicle. The very first Seattle Cadillac dealer link I clicked on, then clicked Cadillac, and the top vehicle is listed without an actual picture.
  24. What would the suit be for? That's pretty ridiculous if somebody can win a lawsuit over that. The only way I see a lawsuit over that is if they're actually trying to sell them as AWD.
