  1. I would like to point out that this truck can tow almost 12 of my Ford Focus. ?
  2. What were people still buying the gas V10 for? That's what this is replacing.
  3. This was my thinking. Smart move to utilize the torquey design. Aren't there still rumors of a 7 liter going into the Rams?
  4. I meant the 718 Cayman's 3000lbs
  5. That's not true. I'd hear my Escape spool at 2k at part throttle and climb hills without a downshift. Boost takes fractions of a second to start building. It isn't like you immediately need full boost.
  6. I guess I should have clarified, n/a inline 4* Not I. Torque, please. Those are sub 3000lb cars.
  7. That was back when V6 engines made more torque than horsepower.. Now you need to rev the piss out of them for motivation. Inline 4cyl-like powerbands.
  8. They are one hell of a good used value. 21-23k.
  9. Ford has all but completely phased out their n/a V6 because n/a V6's blow.
  10. This is just another application that GM needs to drop the 2.7T in. Enough of this 3.6 already.
  11. X10
  12. It depends what you value, really. Nothing else can truck like the trucks, obviously.. Jeeps have hella resale value(along with trucks) but the Edge will probably just be the most fun to drive.
  13. I'm going to take this as my only vehicle and not a toy. I think it would be between things like an Edge ST, high trim Jeep Grand Cherokee, Audi SQ5, BMW X3 40i. The Audi and BMW both crest 50k but I'll leave them on a possible wheel'n dealin options. Buuuuut it would also be difficult not to get a '19 Ram Rebel(with some more options) or a Longhorn or Lariat F150. Rebel + 5.7 + air suspension(and required tech package) + 12 inch screen = 53k and we all know those get discounts.. That would be a tough option to pass up.
  14. I think the Genesis series of cars look phenomenal. I would absolutely drive one.
  15. Funny, neither is singling out an entire brand just because it's not "your" brand. FWD Buick or RWD Kia.. Hmmmm
  16. You know you're a fanboy when... The only 2-3 people who have actually said nice things about the XT6 have been ridiculous Cadillac/GM fanboys. It's as rehashed a product as there is on the market and it's supposed to be brand new. "Dare Greatly" - Really? Cadillac took ZERO chances rehashing a FWD appliance for their "marque" brand. He says anything that isn't GM looks old or is retro so take his opinion on "retro" with a grain of salt.
  17. I think it was 3F here this morning and by Sunday it is supposed to be 62F. Whatever this is, I'm okay with 62 in early February.
  18. 1.5 inches of snow doesn't need 4L! I can still see pavement!
  19. How'd I just not see this? Great looking truck, @Olds Guy!
  20. I don't disagree with him...
  21. Ducati Scrambler 1100, Ducati Monster 1200, Ducati Hypermotard 950 Triumph Speed Triple(1050) Yamaha MT-10 Yamaha MT-09 Honda CB1000R Suzuki GXS-1000 Kawasaki Z900 These all weigh under 500lbs and are naked bikes. I get liking the looks but it absolutely is not the most engine for a bike weighing under 500lbs. I think all of those would wipe the floor with a R9T.
  22. And here I thought Chevy actually knew how to style a vehicle and forgot one. Apparently they've known how to not style a vehicle for a lot longer, thanks!
  23. *counts G&G members* Seems about right... ?
  24. I agree 2000%! 1: I want it as well. 2: It really is almost impossible to narrow your vehicle search results down to ones with or without it. That's gear-grinding. I agree that seat belts should be optional even though I wear one 100% of the time, even moving vehicles around the driveway out of habit. I think it is ridiculous that it is a law(at least in IL) to wear a seat belt. Insurance companies probably love that. they get to charge people the same and there are less overall injuries.
